5 Sterne Ferienhaus mit privatem Hallenbad. Das Thorpe Cloud View Cottage liegt in Thorpe, einem entzückenden Dorf am südlichen Ende des White Peak Gebietes des Peak National Parks. Es ist ein charmanter Urlaubsort innerhalb des 4 Hektar großen Grundstücks, aber abseits von Thorpe House, einem späten Georgian Kalkstein Grad zwei denkmalgeschützten Gebäude von erheblichem Charakter. Das Haus, das die Top-Bewertung von fünf Sternen zugewiesen hat, hat einen ungestörten Blick auf Thorpe Cloud, am Eingang zu Dovedale, der Kalksteinschlucht, die Derbyshire und Staffordshire trennt. Cosy cottage and Country Charm

Beautiful elegant cottage, wonderful ambiance and surrounded by incredible scenery. Equipped with everything you could think of and more. Owners super helpful and friendly.Pool a bonus, brilliant to chill after visiting the local beauty spots some of which are practically on the doorstep.The only downside - we only had 3 nights. Hope to visit again at sometime.

Everything you could want

This was our second visit. This is a really well-designed and characterful small cottage with a large (and warm!) private pool a short distance across the garden. There are fabulous views of the lower part of the White Peak area from the cottage, and walks from the door or from Ilam - a couple of miles away. The hosts offer a warm welcome. Another great stay.

great pool and local to most places within max 30mins drive. the pool must be at least 15m long and 6m wide.Bottle of prosecco and tea and coffee and milk and sugar if you didn't bring any.The Cottage and pool very clean and tidy would stay again and recommend to any couples for a quiet getaway and to go around the Peak District.nearest shop 10 mins drive. great Pubs local for meals if you didn't want to cook.Great hosts and it was all ready to move in. with a tour of the property and pool from them.Car Parking plenty space as i got my Bentley in with ease

We had a fabulous 3- night break at this beautiful property. Ray, the property owner, was very welcoming and helpful and the property itself is perfectly located, spotlessly clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Great Property & Location

The cottage was even better than expected, and was warm, comfortable, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Set in a quiet, and peaceful location, with views of the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool was definitely an added bonus, and was much bigger than it looks on the photos. We really enjoyed our stay, and didn't want to leave.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location to explore the Peak District. Very well maintained with all the home comforts you could want. The pool was absolutely amazing and quite newly refurbished - it is such a fantastic find - I would definitely recommend and will definitely return!

We had a long weekend stay in Thorpe view cottage. The cottage is well furnished, clean and cosy. The garden is well maintained with exceptional views. The pool is a great feature, was used every day. Ray and Julie are warm and welcoming hosts. Good location, ideal for walker's and cyclists. We had a hearty meal on two occasions at the Old dog pub, served by friendly landlord and staff.All in all we had agreat stay,will certainly return.

We are told by the guests that this is the best cottage they have stayed in with the amazing indoor swimming pool (not shared) and the fabulous stone cottage together with the large garden and incredible views over to the hills including Thorpe Cloud View (this featured in the last Robin Hood movie with white horse image on the hill). The cottage is ideal in all weather, cool in the summer and warm in the winter with the log burner and the eco-friendly central heating.

Outside:
A private estate with fantastic gardens in all 4 acres.
The Holiday Cottage enjoys uninterrupted view of the hills of Thorpe Cloud at Dovedale. Often you will be able to watch sheep and lambs, cows, bulls and calves, many types of birds including woodpeckers all from the secluded outside seating area of the holiday cottage.

Indoor Swimming Pool & Luxury Jacuzzi. This opulent swimming pool is heated to 31 degrees. It is about 1.4meters deep and 14 metres (40 ft) long. Ideal for the serious swimmer, for the beginner or for the children. The Jacuzzi has its own heating control and has jets from the sides and the bottom of the seat.

Eco friendly remote central heating system (biomass wood pellets)
Washing machine and dryer.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:
The cottage is cleaned after each guest visit. Towels and bed-linen are provided (this includes a towel for each guest in the cottage and also a second towel for each guest in the poolroom). Our gardener tends to the grounds and may start early (7.00am). Also our handy man is often around keeping everything looking great. This will include moving and loading wood pellets to a centralized green energy heating system.
