Angus Potter und Lizzie Orange haben Chez Nous Zermatt gegründet, um unseren Gästen ein luxuriöses Urlaubserlebnis zu bieten, das sich persönlicher anfühlt - eher wie bei einem Freund als in einem „Ferienhaus“.   

Le Petit ist ein sehr hübsches, geräumiges Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern im 1. Stock - ideal für 4 Personen (und viele unserer Gäste haben 3 Kinder in das zweite Schlafzimmer gebracht, sodass dort 5 Personen Platz haben). Die Wohnung hat einen atemberaubenden Blick direkt auf das Matterhorn.

Es wurde viel Wert darauf gelegt, eine wirklich einladende Atmosphäre zu schaffen: Das hübsche Wohn- / Esszimmer hat eine Küche und einen großen umlaufenden Balkon mit Blick auf das Feld, mit den schönen alten Schweizer Stadeln im Vordergrund und dem Vorsitzenden des Matterhorns im Hintergrund. Der Essbereich bietet bequem Platz für 4-6 Personen, sodass Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten zu Hause genießen können. Abends (oder an schlechten Wettertagen) können Sie es sich vor dem 45-Zoll-Heimkino (mit britischen Kanälen und Apple TV) gemütlich machen Ein Film oder ein Buch und wenn es Zeit zum Schlafen ist, sind die Betten super bequem. Wir sorgen auch dafür, dass "the basics" auf Lager sind, damit Sie Tee / Kaffee zubereiten und ein Glas Wein trinken können, ohne gleich einkaufen zu müssen!

Wenn Sie Teil einer größeren Gruppe von Familienmitgliedern und Freunden sind, können Sie durch die Kombination von Le Petit mit einem unserer anderen Apartments alle im selben Gebäude zusammen sein, sich aber bei Bedarf auf eigenen Raum zurückziehen. Sehen Sie sich unsere anderen Angebote für Le Corbassiere (6 Personen), The Mischabel (6-8 Personen) und L'Etoile (2-3 Personen) an.

Alle Chez Nous Apartments bieten einen 180-Grad-Blick direkt auf das Matterhorn, in Richtung Gornergrat und das Trifttal. Eines der wenigen verbliebenen Felder im Dorf liegt direkt vor uns, was ein willkommenes Raumgefühl schafft, obwohl alle Restaurants, die Kirchenbrücke und die Liftstationen / Busse in der Nähe sind.

Der einzige praktische Punkt, den Sie berücksichtigen sollten, ist der direkte Zugang zu unserem Gebäude von der Straße aus (wenn Sie ankommen und gehen), über drei Treppen. Sobald Ihr Gepäck installiert ist, nutzen die meisten Gäste die Abkürzung zum Dorf über einen Weg über das Feld vor dem Haus.

Everything about the apartment was fantastic. It's very cozy, well stocked kitchen, location and the sunrise view on the matterhorn. Lizzy and Lou helped so much with travel and restaurant reservations and village tips. Great visit. I would come stay here again without a doubt.

Everything regarding this booking and property was exceptional. The property itself was centrally located to all Zermatt has to offer. The styling and decor was rustic modern and classy. The place was absolutely “spotless” and included any amenity you need. Their inclusion of starter supplies was a very nice touch. Customer service and communications was superior in every way!! From clear instructions, to arrival and departing assistance, to response time, etc., they excelled. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent Stay

Lizzie’s place was perfect for our family of four. It’s beautifully finished and in a great location. Additionally Lizzie is wonderful to work with. She provided helpful information prior to our arrival and had bread, coffee and other staples in the refrigerator when we arrived. Such a nice touch!

Amazing stay and host

We absolutely loved Chez Nous. The property was in a great location, walkable to anywhere. The apartment was clean, cozy and well equipped with anything we needed. Lizzie (the host) was the most informative, kind and helpful host we have ever experienced at any of our VRBO stays. I would highly recommend Chez Nous to anyone looking to visit Zermatt. Amazing apartment in fantastic location!

We had the most fantastic stay at Le Petit! The apartment is fully furnished with amazingly comfortable beds, great shower and a fully equipped kitchen. We couldn’t have wanted for anything else in an apartment during our time in Zermatt. Lizzie was easy to communicate with and had our ski passes waiting for us when we arrived which was a great help. We would 100% stay here again if we visit Zermatt again and have to mention the most delicious lemon cake Lizzie made!

Classy convenient chalet

Guests at Le Petit can expect top quality, the owners have not skimped on furnishings and have thought of everything. The chalet has everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Lizzie is also incredibly helpful with local knowledge. The chalet is positioned between the main ski access gondolas, so access is easy. We had not realised how sprawling Zermatt was prior to arrival and the location of Le Petit is fantastic - relatively flat walking distance to the shopping and the lifts. It was also the cleanest chalet we have ever stayed in.

Superb apartment, ideally positioned in Zermatt

The apartment is so well arranged, furnished and decorated and ideally positioned for both the main ski lifts and and central Zermatt shops and restaurants.The view over an old meadow to the mountains and the Matterhorn is wonderful.Lizzie and Angus are wonderful hosts. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and they really know Zermatt and all the ski areas. Have been going to Zermatt since 2004 and have now stayed at Chez Nous for four years and genuinely wouldnt think of anywhere else in Zermatt.Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fabulous Apartment - Perfect Location

This flat was immaculate, and centrally located. The perfect size (two bedrooms), well appointed and very comfortable. ... And did I mention the view? Unbeatable! There is open space next to the building, so the view is unobstructed. Lizzie was extra nice, and helped us get to and from the rail station via electric taxi. She also knew (and was happy to recommend) all the best places to eat. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing zermatt stay

We are a family of 4 including a 16 yo son and 13 yo daughter visiting from USA. We had an amazing time!! Lizzie was super helpful even before we arrived. She helped us get proper train tickets into zermatt and back to Paris. Her communication was perfect down to meeting g is at the train station. The apt was perfect. A spacious living room, a master bedroom and another room for our children. The apt was beautiful with a working kitchen and beautiful views of the Matterhorn for morning coffee and easy walk to town. Amazing unit and owners. 5 stars!!

Spectacular

This apartment—Mischabel—was the best VRBO place we’ve ever stayed in (and we have stayed in a lot of them in U.S., U.K., and Europe). It was absolutely spotlessly clean, I mean there wasn’t a speck of dirt, even under the furniture. It was beautifully, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped—uncommonly so. It had everything we needed or could have wanted. Throughout the apartment, everything was in perfect order—there were no scratched beat up old non-stick pans, no half-melted plastic spatulas, no non-functioning appliances, no burned out light bulbs, no broken window blinds—all of which are sadly standard in so many other VRBO rentals. The place is gorgeous, and sitting on the deck watching the Matterhorn was spectacular. Lizzie and her on-site person were very responsive, and super helpful, they provided outstanding communications.

Great place to relax and explore Zermatt

We had a wonderful stay at Chez Nous. The property was exactly as described, we were not disappointed. We enjoyed wonderful views of the Matterhorn from the patio areas. It was so nice to have a kitchen and place to wind down after more than a week of hopping from hotel to hotel in a prior motor cycle tour of the Alps. Lizzie picked us up at the train station, gave us all the needed information for the area - where to eat, buy groceries, hike, etc. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedding comfortable. The property is so nicely decorated and cleanly kept. We enjoyed watching a few movies in the evening on the large TV, wifi was good as well, we had no trouble with connectivity. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we'll never forget it.

Perfect location with a view of Matterhorn

We were very pleased with the location. We had a gorgeous view of Matterhorn from the living room and the balcony. We had sun on that balcony during then day until late afternoon which was perfect for lazy afternoons. The apartment was very well equipped and organized. The beds were very comfortable and the bath lovely. Maps, information and suggestions on what to do and how was available. It felt like coming to someones home. The feeling of rental was non existing with was lovely. Lizzy and her staff were all very helpful with organizing both transfer and skipas and available for questions during our stay. It was walking distance to both ski systems and it was just a few minutes to the bus. The only thing that could improve is availability of dryers for the skiboots since you are not allowed to take them up into the apartment.

Thank you for the feedback about the boot dryers - we don't own the building and unfortunately are not able to put boot dryers in. Most guests find the underfloor heating is enough or those that rent boots and skis and leave them in the rental shops over night - we will continue to lobby the owners! Great location, property and host

We stayed here in late January, the apartment was located just a few minutes walk from the lifts and the main street, which was really convenient. We had two couples and both were very comfortable. Lizzie was extremely helpful getting us oriented for our first visit to Zermatt and her guide on where to eat and rent equipment was invaluable. I would definitely stay here again. Bonus is that you can see the Matterhorn from the living room.

Perfect home from home in zermatt

We had a great stay at chez nous zermatt for two reasons. Firstly the apartment itself was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Secondly hosts Lizzie and Angus were extremely helpful in arranging all we could hope for in terms of lift passes, lunch bookings and more. Lots of nice small touches like chocolate in the boot room too. As with anywhere in zermatt you can’t be close to the lifts of both main mountains but the location here worked well for us even with young children, helped by the free ski lockers all over the ski area. Strongly recommended.

The two bedroom place is very nicely decorated and cozy. It's nice and quiet and close to everything. Lizzie ensures that you get safely to the unit, provided a few unexpected perks, and makes sure you feel comfortable in Zermatt. Wonderful

Marvelous stay at Chez Nous

Chez Nous is a wonderful condo -- beautifully furnished and maintained and it is well situated in the village. Lizzie served as a superb concierge for us letting us know which train tickets to purchase, setting up a ski guide, giving us great recommendations for ski rental, etc. She also had fresh tea bread prepared for us and even had the frig stocked with orange juice, milk and butter upon our arrival. Chez Nous was an excellent value and gave our family of four space to stretch out after three amazing days of skiing at Zermatt. We are very picky when it comes to lodging, and Chez Nous definitely lived up to our expectations -- actually, it surpassed them. Highly recommend -- would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Zermatt

Lizzie met us at the train station and escorted us to an absolutely wonderful apartment. It was well represented in the website and even better in person. Clean, comfortable, quite and in a great location. I highly recommend a stay w/ Lizzie in Zermatt.

Angus Potter and Lizzie Orange set up Chez Nous Zermatt to offer our guests a luxury holiday rental experience that feels more personal – more like staying with a friend than in a “vacation home”.   

We have deliberately kept Chez Nous Zermatt small because our experience is that a boutique, owner-managed business is the best way to ensure that our guests get a truly personal service.  We have personally furnished our holiday apartments to create an atmosphere that aims to make you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

Family commitments mean that we now divide our time between the UK and Zermatt but we have a small concierge team on the ground here who know Zermatt well and between us we will make sure you are well looked after during your stay.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Initially we ran a small b&b from our own apartment but we now have 4 apartments in this building (the Swiss laws re. foreigners buying property allowed us to buy one and lease the others) and as from Winter 2018/19, Chez Nous has 4 apartments to rent: The Corbassiere which sleeps 6 on the 3rd floor, The Mischabel which sleeps 6-8 on the 2nd floor, Le Petit which sleeps 4 on the 1st floor and now L'Etoile a 1 bedroomed apartment also on the 1st floor next to Le Petit.

We offer our guests the freedom of a self-catered holiday combined with the feel and warmth of staying in someone else's home. We have completely re-furnished the flats to create an atmosphere that aims to make you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

Our apartments are definitely more than just "a rental"; we have created an atmosphere of "home" in all of them and they are filled with lots of the personal touches that we appreciate in places we stay and want to offer our guests.
Our building sits right in the centre of the village but is unique in still having a small field in front of it which sets off the view of The Matterhorn in spectacular fashion.
