aloha Chad, we are glad to hear you liked the condo and enjoyed your stay. sorry to learn that a motorcycle group decided to tour po’ipu one of your nights. as i mentioned in my email, the housekeeper reported the fan malfunction (and we have ordered a replacement). in addition to the ceiling fan (at the lower speed ), there are also two portable fans in the closet. i wish you’d contacted me about the AC. many guests don’t need it since there is usually a great cross-draft when the windows and lanai door are open. our goal is guests’ comfort and we mention AC several times in our mailings simply to get guests' attention, hoping all will be mindful... when we first installed AC it was a disaster in terms of electricity usage -- windows and doors were left open with AC running non-stop. we DO NOT charge guests for what we call "ecology-conscious" use as described in the info we forward to guests with their access info (via email). finally, our home owners association no longer allows laundry machines in our individual condos so there are small laundry rooms near the elevators. yes -- there is a cost of $2.50 per load for washing machines and dryers. our listing had asterisks next to this amenity to provide this additional info but this changed when vrbo altered the website. our apology! there ARE bill changer machines on the 3rd and 4th floors, we again thank you for taking time to share your experience. we hope you'll return. aloha and mahalo, —denise
