Die Indiana School ist Ihr Zuhause für Familienspaß. Das Schulhaus liegt 2 Häuserblocks vom Kids Corner Park, 3 Häuserblocks von der blauen Treppe zum South Beach und 7 Häuserblocks von Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Innenstadt entfernt. Die untere Schule verfügt über 4 thematische Schlafzimmer und 3 Badezimmer und bietet Platz für 14 Personen. Der riesige, große Raum bietet viel Platz für Familien, um sich auszubreiten, Billard zu spielen oder fernzusehen. Der Haftraum bietet einen separaten Raum, in dem die Kinder fernsehen und Brettspiele spielen können. Der große Vorgarten bietet Ihrer Familie mehr Zeit zum Spielen in der Sonne. Ein Propangrill und eine Feuerstelle mit Sitzgelegenheiten stehen zu Ihrer Verfügung. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück.

Die Indiana School wurde 1898 erbaut und diente bis 2005 als Grundschule. Das Schulhaus wurde 2006 umfassend umgebaut. Aktualisierungen, Anstriche und alle neuen Einrichtungsgegenstände wurden 2016 vorgenommen. Viele der ursprünglichen Oberflächen wurden erhalten, darunter Kreidetafeln, Hecktüren, Holzverkleidungen und Lehrerschränke. Die Indiana School wurde vom Bundesstaat Michigan als historische Stätte ausgewiesen. Das Schulhaus ist wirklich ein einzigartiges Zuhause.

Unsere wöchentlichen Vermietungen laufen von FREITAG bis FREITAG. Der Check-In ist ab 16:00 Uhr möglich. Check-out ist um 10:00 Uhr.

Wonder week in SoHa!

We had a fantastic time at the Old Indiana School House! It was so cool to see the history of the property while staying in such a well done and very clean rented space. We loved the location-close to the beach and to downtown. We enjoyed walking to get coffee, meals, and of course, ice cream! Such a wonderful week long vacation in South Haven!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Indiana School House. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The location is excellent for walking to the lake or downtown.What really surprised us was how much our adult children enjoyed the pool table. They had running competitions going on. They also enjoyed leaving messages on the chalkboards. With plenty of rooms for privacy and a huge common area to hang out, it's a great place to make memories.

This property never disappoints. The location is perfect and it's always clean and ready for fun. Spacious, and easy to feed and entertain 3-4 families. The outdoor space has plenty of seating for outdoor dining and we love having a bonfire here too.

We love this place

We have stayed here since 2017; initially it was for long weekends in the fall, and then we added a week in the summer (except during the pandemic). The space is beautiful, and offers space for the kids and the adults. We have walkable access to the beaches and downtown. We love this place!

Wonderful stay

This is a unique and impressive property. We stayed in the lower apartment and just marveled at the high ceilings, big windows, and beautiful furnishings. The space was spotless and well equipped with all that we needed. The beds were fresh and very comfortable. The location is also perfect…a few blocks from the beach in one direction and a few blocks to downtown shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere and had a fantastic stay!

Maybe the best rental I've ever stayed at. Stunning building, wonderful detail spent in the design and decor. The pictures do not do this place justice! It is so cute and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. It was only about a 10 minute walk into town/beach. Each person in our group talked about returning again with their families! 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful, spacious place

The decor and architecture was impressive. We were also impressed with how well stocked it was with small items that would be needed but you may not have brought along. It was so comfortable for our large party of nine adults and two children to be able to spread out. The large combine kitchen and family room area was so much fun. My sons enjoyed playing pool there while the rest of us talked and interacted. It turned out to be a wonderful choice for our large family's vacation.

Spacious, comfortable, and fun. We were a party of ten adults and two children, and we loved the place. The location was great, close to the beach and a great playground. It was very comfortable for all of us; the table accommodated all of us. The kitchen was well equipped, although a second refrigerator might have been helpful. Always a wonderful stay in the Indiana Schoolhouse!

This is our second stay at the school house and we have always fully enjoyed it! This time we were celebrating a long weekend with our parents and siblings/spouses. There were 8 of us and the space could not have been more perfect. The layout is great to have some space between bedrooms, a big kitchen/living/dining that is perfect for family gatherings, and another living room downstairs. The bedrooms all have themes are are cutely decorated to period/theme. Beds are comfy and everything in the home is clean and well-kept. We were super impressed with how well stocked the kitchen is - and we're foodies! The outdoor area with fire pit was a dream - lots of chairs and seating, as well as a couple grills and very large table & chairs under a pergola with lights - lots of good food and laughs around the fire at night! We also went to Tabor Hill for lunch & wine tasting, rented a boat to take out on the lake, and shopped around SoHa - plenty to do even in early fall season. The owners were wonderful and very communicative. We would highly recommend, and look forward to staying there again!

We all loved this property , it was a quick walk to the gorgeous beach. We explored the antique shops and other fun stores and restaurants . The house had everything, kitchen was well supplied , we all had fun playing pool table and video games on the giant TV. We had 8 adults total, and felt like we had room for togetherness and spreading . out. It was fun reading the history of the school with the original finishes that remain along with modern conveniences. The outside spaces were beautiful too! The hosts checked in with us right away to make sure we had everything we needed. Love the Indiana School house.

I stayed at this rental last year with friends and we all loved it. This time, I brought family along to share with them. This is a beautiful property with high ceilings and tall windows-so many nice touches throughout the unit, inside and out. We enjoyed the comfy beds, large great room with pool table, walks to the beach and downtown, dinner outside under the pergola, and an evening around the firepit. Everyone had a great time and went on and on about what a beautiful place this is. We hope to return next fall!

As many others have said, the photos do not (maybe can't?) do this property justice. It's a truly unique place, with high ceilings and tons of room. There are many fun school-related details but everything is updated and modern. We had everything we needed to cook several meals for a group. Bathrooms are very clean and nice. We loved the pool table. The grounds are large and nicer than the photos show. Use of the two-car garage was a big plus. We were a little concerned about the proximity to the beach, having stayed closer on other trips, but it worked out great for us. It really is a seven minute (max) walk to the blue stairs. We had a great stay overall.
