Brand new house just minutes from Downtown South Haven and close to the Lake with private Beach access. Great for families. Finished in June of 2023, all furniture is brand new. Our South Haven House has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with an amazing outdoor space that includes a spacious front deck, backyard, firepit, complimentary wood and screened in patio. This South Haven House is located in a peaceful, quiet, rural, beautiful area and is only a few steps from the Beachfront of Lake Michigan with access to a private beach. Only steps from beautiful Lake Michigan and an amazing Beach view.

The first floor has master suite with private bathroom and King-sized bed, two additional bedrooms both with Queens and bathroom, with a Living room including board games, TV with streaming services and spacious kitchen and dining room will all the amenities. Upstairs is an additional Living room, great place for kids or needed additional private space with two bedrooms that both include a full and twin bed, full bathroom plus a queen pull out couch. Laundered bed linens provided, blanket and pillows provided for all beds.

Spend time in our outdoor space with a front deck with Lake Michigan only two houses away, a fire pit area with plenty of seating, screened in back patio with a brand-new gas grill right off the screened in patio with a spacious backyard.

Our South Haven house is the third house from the lake with access to a small private beach area via stairs (we provide a gate code) and a small tram (we provide a key). Due to the bluff erosion, it is a short walk to beachfront. We recommend one person loads all the beach gear and take the tram down and then others take the stairs. We also love to grab some bag chairs (4 provided) and watch the sunset at the bluff, the beach view is breathtaking.

We provide additional amenities such as toilet paper for all the bathrooms, paper towels, dishwasher soap, hand soap, garbage bags, dish sponge and detergent. We have a DVD player upstairs with over 100 DVDs to choose from as well as 2 Internet or WiFi options along with two TVs in the two living rooms. We also provide board games, bag chairs, spikeball, cornhole, ladder toss, beach chairs, beach blanket, YETI cooler, grill, complimentary wood and more!

Parking: We have a long, large driveway that allows parking up to four cars.

Kitchen and Dining room is off the Living room. Kitchen includes brand new stove/oven, dishwasher, fridge, and microwave. Also includes all kitchen utensils and pots and pans. House also has central air conditioning and heat.

Off the kitchen and dining room is an area is a brand-new washer and dryer as well as an iron and steamer if needed.

House is 8 minutes north of downtown South Haven, close to North and South Beach, 15 minutes from downtown Saugatauk - Douglas and 30 minutes from downtown Holland. There's a Walmart, Meijer, Dollar Store and Menards about 8 minutes away.

I'm a responsive host and do everything I can to make sure you have the best experience possible. We are a family renting our own property and not a rental company, so we are readily available for every renter during their stay. Please feel free to message me with any questions. Some nearby activities less than 30 minutes away include: fishing, watersports, shopping, golfing, hiking, tons of wineries and breweries, skiing and snowboarding, cycling, and horseback riding! Your close to everything!

No pets allowed. We also prohibit any parties at the property. We are in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and have noise restrictions after 10pm. We ask that all renters are respectful of this and refrain from any noise disruption that might impact the surrounding neighbors.

Absolutely NO PARTIES. Our house is in a quiet neighborhood and there is a zero tolerance for excessive noise after 10pm.

Parking: Out of respect for our neighbors, we have room for six cars. Four in the driveway and two in front of the house.

Comfy Cottage In Beautiful Setting

Attractive comfortable cottage with large island in the kitchen that made food prep very enjoyable. Loved the screened in porch. Private beach nearby which was breathtaking. Nine minutes from downtown South Haven and North Beach. Scenic area to walk or run.

Great weekend away

The house was perfect and the owners were so helpful. This might have been the best house rental experience I've ever had. Everything was exactly as listed. The neighborhood was so nice. They have a private beach the next street over. The views from the bluff were just breathtaking. We spent a lot of time in the screened in porch. A perfect spot for our big group.

Very spacious, near everything!

The house had enough space for our 3 families, even with the 6 kids in the house. Kitchen was complete with everything you will need. Talked to Kim with some issues which were and will be addressed. Hopefully the area/bluff gets eventually fixed for a shorter walk to the beach.

Fantastic, new summer vacation beach house for a large family

We had a large group of 12, including 4 families with people from age 12 to 70. This house was perfect. Being brand new construction it was obviously the cleanest home we’ve ever rented for a summer vacation. All of us slept great with the new beds, we absolutely loved the screened in rear porch, and there was plenty of space to spread out. There were several evenings where we had three different groups playing different games at the same time, and we still had the upstairs living space available for a fourth game! The front porch was also great, and a place where we could relax and read or nap whenever we wanted. We spent a lot of time at the private neighborhood beach. While there were several other family groups down there, it never felt crowded. The sandbar about 100 feet offshore was awesome for all ages, and we found nearly 500 pieces of beautiful beach/sea glass, Petosky stones, and other cool fossils for our collection. Since the primary lakeshore road has eroded into Lake Michigan, we had to walk north around to the next street to get to the steps down to the beach. While there were a lot of steps, these were the best I’ve ever seen on a bluff. They are high quality aluminum with multiple handrails, which made it much easier to traverse. We brought paddle boards and all kinds of beach stuff up and down them daily. Kim was fantastic. Always available to answer questions and very friendly every step of the way. Would definitely rent this house again.

Welcome to our vacation home! We are family from Chicago looking to share our beautiful new lake house with you. We understand how important family vacations are and how important these times are with family and friends. I hope you enjoy our property as much as we do!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We built this house based on tons of experience staying in other VRBO properties. We wanted to provide a home that had plenty of space for adults and kids to have their own space as well as an outdoor area that would be relaxing and fun.

The best part of where our house is located is it's very private and low key. We only have two neighbors between us and Lake Michigan and are the third house from the bluff. So you can hear the waves at times and feel a great breeze off the lake. The views of the lake from the bluff are absolutely beautiful and the sunsets are amazing. Since we are at a dead end, it stays pretty quiet but families or groups don't have to worry about noise. We encourage lots of laughs around the fire or on the front porch.

I love our vacation home. What makes it great is there is so much space and areas to go. So, if you have kids, they can hang out upstairs with their own large space while the adults are downstairs. Or you can have a small group, and everyone have their own bedroom with plenty of bathrooms.

You can play games on the screened in porch or enjoy your coffee on the front porch with the breeze off the lake. Being from the city, I love how quiet and peaceful it is. Our favorite thing to do is grab some bag chairs and go down to the bluff and watch the sunset. It feels like you're in a different world!

We are not a rental company; we are a family looking to share our home. So I try to treat every renter how I would like to be treated when I rent a VRBO property. We're responsive, easy to get a hold of, honest and try to provide a rental experience that goes above and beyond your expectations.
