Wonderful apartment., great location, terrific host!! The apartment is in the center of the best part of Bordeaux! 20 plus restaurants within a 10 minute walk. This was our second time spending two weeks here. The apartment is on the ground floor, no steps and is super clean and well maintained! Nice shower, comfortable bed. Super quiet street/alley. Very safe. Benedicte is the best host we have had renting apartments all over Europe. She is responsive and attentive to any request. She is a kind and friendly person, always with a smile.

The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The location and ground floor can’t be beat. They supplied two fans which really help with the heat wave. I would definitely recommend the apartment. I did not care for all the check in forms and reading. I was surprised that the fee did not cover the bed tax. They required 500 euro security deposit that also required me to fill out more forms and an app. All the extra stuff takes time away from your vacation. It is probably because it is ran by a management company.

Thank you very much for your feedback Lance. I am the owner of the Maison de Valentine and I manage it myself, without a management company. Short-term rentals involve significant risks for an owner, especially when you are entrusting your own home to guests. It is therefore quite normal for me to put certain safeguards in place to protect the property. Regarding the police registration form, it is mandatory in France for foreign guests. Even though many accommodations do not ask for it, it is a legal requirement. The most important thing is that you enjoyed your stay at the Maison de Valentine. Easy Walking in Bordeaux

The property was perfect for our needs: excellent location, secure parking nearby, very well equipped for comfort and convenience. My one complaint was the mattress: too soft. But we enjoyed everything else.

Fantastic Flat in an Unbelievable Location

I highly recommend this 1 BR flat in the center of a vibrant, young part of Bordeaux. The photos and description are accurate - it is a first floor (door to street) flat located just off a pedestrian street. So, while the location is very central to shops and restaurants, it is not burdened by the noise of cars and trucks. The flat was beautifully decorated, clean, and well appointed with washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine and hairdryer. There is no AC but the fans provided were more than sufficient. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this for your visit to Bordeaux.

La Maison de Valentine ist eine hübsche Wohnung im Erdgeschoss in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse im Herzen der lebendigen Altstadt von Bordeaux. Alles ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Bénédicte ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfbereit. Als wir ein Problem mit der Waschmaschine hatten, setzte sie alles daran, so schnell als möglich eine Lösung zu finden. Wir genossen vier wunderschöne und gemütliche Tage in Bordeaux und Umgebung. Ich kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.Susanne

Adresse incontournable à Bordeaux

Très belle maison/appartement, parfaitement propre et tellement bien décorée - conforme à l'annonce. La situation extrêmement centrale est un point fort : nous faisons tout à pied ! Elle est toute équipée : machine Nespresso avec dosettes café en libre service, eau minérale, pâtes et sauce tomate ; machine à laver, lave linge... et un très grand écran plat avec NETFLIX ! Notre hôtesse Bénédicte a été très sympathique et tellement réactive à toutes nos questions. Je recommande la maison de Valentine pour vos séjour dans le centre ville de Bordeaux !
