We are so lucky to be located on the wonderful Waternish Penninsula with everything it has to offer. Our location provides peace and quiet while at the same time being convenient for exploring Skye. I'm also delighted you enjoyed the basket of treats from Skye and Scotland. Your English is a lot better than my German so I had to use Google to translate. Hopefully I got it right: Your Review: We spent a very relaxing week in the beautifully situated cottage, the location is great - very quiet and idyllic, overlooking the sea and the offshore islands. The cottage is very tastefully, comfortably and lovingly furnished, it really lacks nothing. As a welcome gesture, a welcome basket with culinary specialities from Skye was on the table. The cottage is located on the Waternish Peninsula and we have made excursions and walks to Neist Point, Coral Beach, Trotternish Peninsula, Dunvegan and Waternish Point. Our highlight was the hike to Waternish Point because from there we could see sea otters, gannets and seals. We can absolutely recommend the house and will definitely come back. Dear Nicole - That's so much for your lovely review. We are delighted that you enjoyed Creagach Cottage and it's wonderful views. We were so disappointed that the December gale had affected our broadband. It's the first time it's happened (it was extremely wild in Skye) and it's fixed now. Sadly as it was New Year week an engineer wasn't available to come and fix it for you at the time. We had offered to come and fix the service for you personally but you were happy to get an EE sim card and use that to surf the net. We are glad that worked fine. Hopefully, the refund of 1 nights accommodation for the inconvenience made up for the inconvenience. Thanks so much for choosing Creagach Cottage for your visit to Skye. In addition to Michelin star Loch Bay, Edinbane Lodge has just opened ofering a 10 course taste of skye for £65 so that's somewhere new for you to try in your next visit!
