The fully equipped kitchen ensures you have everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay, and a separate utility room adds to the convenience, especially for longer stays. On the ground floor, there is a king size bed which can be set up as a twin if required, with an en-suite shower room. A second shower room on the ground floor provides additional comfort for guests.

Upstairs, a charming gallery overlooks the dining area, adding to the cottage’s airy, open feel. The Waternish Peninsula is a haven for walkers and nature lovers, with beautiful coastal paths and panoramic views, nearby, the village of Stein, home to the oldest inn on Skye and a Michelin Star restaurant (it is best to book). You can visit the historic Dunvegan Castle, Coral Bay, Neist Point Lighthouse, Clan Donald Centre in the south of the Island. For a good walk, head to the Quiraing or the Old Man of Storr or book a guided hike up one of the the Cuillins. There is something for everyone on Skye, you are never far away from the sea where you will have forever changing views and landscapes. In the evening, relax back at La Bergerie, keep your camera close as this is when you will get the most amazing sunsets, auroras and bird life, something only a photo can prove how stunning it is.
