The views were amazing! The private walking bath down to the beach was great (be prepared for many steps) and we spotted tons of wildlife around the property. Susan, the concierge, was very helpful and an excellent communicator. Kenneth, the chef, and his team made amazing food - we never wanted to leave the house to eat. Thank you for a great stay!

Simply Extraordinary

I stayed at this property with my wife and 15 friends and I couldn't imagine a better experience. The location is perfect being a short walk to the beach. The coordination with the concierge with everything we wanted to do was above what one would would expect. The food was absolutely incredible. Each meal outdid the previous. I would stay at this property again in a heart beat. It was incredible.

16 trips to CR, 5 to Manuel Antonio. Vista Hermosa is the Best. Home is outstanding. Location, views, breeze, wildlife all make for a great vacation. A-MAAAAZZ-ING!!!!!!

Words cannot describe how beautiful Vista Hermosa is! We had an amazing time with 16 friends for the week. Our concierge, Susan, was great and very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. The chefs, Kenneth & Adrian…….TOP NOTCH! Every single meal was amazing & the presentation was beautiful! The views were unbelievable and accommodations were excellent! We would definitely like to stay again!

"Piece of heaven"

My husband and I with other couples stayed for 8 days at this luxurious property in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. No detail was left out in this super spacious well-maintained estate with perfect views throughout and the amazing infinity pool. Vista Hermosa is a dream!

This property is truly a dream! The house is gorgeous and the staff goes above & beyond. The views are breathtaking and the wildlife is surreal. We awoke to the sounds of the howler monkeys every morning and were visited on the deck each day by the squirrel monkeys. We were totally spoiled for the week by their wonderful team. Javier & Karina in particular are amazing! The food was beautiful & delicious from beginning to end. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing Vacation

For our entire group of 16, this house was not only everything we hoped it to be, but also exceeded our expectations. Javier and Jose made delicious meals and were absolutely wonderful people. Isabella and the rest of the team that kept the house in perfect condition were a pleasure and they even spotted a sloth in the tree and a whale in the ocean for us all to see. Susan helped get all the excursions booked and coordinate extra needs once we were there. It was a unanimous decision, we will all be back again!

Top Flight

Can not even begin to describe the wonderful time the 10 of us had at the villa. From start to finish it was a first class experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the views were beyond fantastic, accommodations 5 star and the food scrumptious. Can't complain about a thing. We sent several people to the Web site. Hope it does not get overpriced for the area. We would love to come back.

Amazing place in a wonderful country!

Spectacular huge 4th floor with views of the ocean, the mountains, toucans, and monkeys! It was the gathering place for our group of 13. Read a book on one of the many balconies, eat lunch or dinner, swim in the infinity pool, hang out by the bar, or crank up the bluetooth outdoor stereo for an impromptu dance party-----all at the same time! Something for everyone and plenty of space. Of particular note was Chef Javier and wife Carina. Talented and charming. Our meals were wonderful and tailored to our group. A pleasure to be around. We are even Facebook friends now....highly recommended!

Vacation in paradise

Vista Hermosa Estate is definitely 5* plus! Every detail has been thought of, from the coded locks on each bedroom for privacy and a safe in each room, to the loaded ipad on the top deck for music and beach accessories like chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The infinity pool on the top floor is outstanding, I could stay there all day. The staff are top notch, great at what they do and very friendly. Every single meal was delicious, housekeeping kept everything spotless and our concierge was friendly, always available and ready to help with the answers at her fingertips. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. (this is not the property for anyone with mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs)

AWESOME HOUSE & GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

I have been traveling to Costa Rica for close to 15 years and this house was one of the best in the Manual Antonio area. The house easily accommodated our group 14 adults with one bedroom not used at all. The entire staff was amazing...I wanted to bring the chefs (Javier and Karina) back to the states with us!! We did several excursions just to further explore the area but there is no real reason to leave the house. The house has its own 5-10 minute hiking path down to the beach which is VERY uncommon for most homes in Manual Antonio. We booked with Don at CRVacationproperties.com and he was very accommodating to all request. If you are traveling with a large group you cant beat this property.

Serene and beautiful beach villa

Our visit to Vista Hermosa was fabulous. This large home is well appointed and not over done. The home is open and airy. It is like staying in the rainforest while having the comforts of home. The owners have thought of everything. The full time staff makes it especially easy. Chef Javier and Hillary were personable and professional. They were extra accommodating to our dietary needs and large number of family members We would definitely recommend this property to friends and other family members. Our only caution would be that it might not be appropriate for families with toddlers or small children due to the large amount of stairs and balconies. We hope to return soon!

Dream vacation is putting it lightly!

The location of the property, its proximity to the town and beaches were absolutely awesome. Private walkway to the beach by means of walking thru a beautiful mini-rainforest with wildlife like howler monkeys, horses and every colorful bird imaginable. The rooms are hard to explain... much nicer than any resort, but cozy like home. Air conditioning was beautiful :) and the showers offered a beautiful picturesque beach from the large sun windows. The chefs became friends with our whole family and offered service, insight and a whole lot of laughs along the way. The pictures do a great job of showing you EXACTLY what to expect... nothing but pure beauty and supreme relaxation. Pool is the perfect size, the the GINORMUS deck is where our party of 20 hung out when we weren't at the beach or on an excursion looking at whales on the catamaran. If you only go to Costa Rica one time... this is THE place to stay!

Pure Paradise

We had a fantastic week in Costa Rica! The pictures of this house do not do it justice...you can't truly capture the beauty of this incredible home unless you see it in person!! The layout is perfect for large groups with plenty of room for everyone. The pool is beautiful! The short walk to the beach was a fun adventure everyday seeing what animals we could find on the way. The monkeys visiting us during our morning coffee was an experience none of us will ever forget!! Every aspect of our trip was perfect. Shiona was a big part of making this trip such a success! All of our excursions, even a last minute parasailing adventure, were fantastic! The household staff were wonderful and so accommodating! The attention to detail and helpfulness of everyone made our week a joy! Special shout out to the chefs who became extended family for the week and treated us so wonderfully! The food was delicious...every single meal was out of this world! We can't wait to go back! Pure paradise!!

50th in the Jungle

Vista Hermosa was a perfect place to have my 50th Birthday. 10 couples arrived to spend the week together. We all fell in love with this gorgeous home. The best way to describe how well this house works even for 20 of us. Our day would start with early risers pressing start on the coffee makers ready to go. Slowly people would gather drinking coffee and watching and listening to the Jungle waking up. Two days we had yoga which was amazing to start the day off. Then we had a wonderful breakfast. Splitting the day with time on the beautiful beach and then heading back to the house for cocktails and appetizers up by the pool. Enjoying the beauty of the sunset. Javier and his mom made us wonderful meals and brought our group together every night. After dinner we spent it by the bar area sometimes dancing under the lights. The bedrooms were a nice getaway to recharge with beautifully appointed rooms. Some took advantage of the many opportunities of activities nearby and enjoyed those adventures. It was a magical place that we will all remember. We hope to come back in the future.

5 Star experience across the board!!!!

Wow.... One of the most magical vacations our family has ever been on! We secured this house almost a year ago, months before construction was even complete. After speaking with Don, property manager, last summer, We felt confident booking Vista Hermosa during mid-construction and we have zero regrets. The property is even better than we imagined! We had a large group of 12 adults and 8 children (8 mo- 14 years) and everyone had an amazing experience. Shiona, concierge, helped us with our 5 car rentals, shuttle service to and from airport, and several activities (zip lining, white water rafting and parasailing). She was always available to help with a big smile! She took all stress out of the trip! Javier and Karina, chefs, provided us with some of the best meals we've ever had! They are so personable and have a true passion for cooking! We all wish we could bring them back to California with us 😄. I was born in Costa Rica and have been back several times and our experience at Vista Hermosa was hands down the BEST!!! We created memories to last a lifetime! Thank you Don, Shiona, Javier and Karina for the 5 Star experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We will be back!!! Pura Vida!

A Paradise beyond belief!!!!!!

There are so many wonderful things I could say about the house, the grounds, the views and the jungle setting but the exceptional service given by the house staff that included the chef, the maids and the concierge respectively, really make one's stay at this vacation home an unforgettable one. Upon arrival, Shionna warmly welcomed us for the tour of the house, patiently answered all our questions while we familiarized ourselves with the house. She set the tone for a wonderful week with my family of 22 people ranging from ages 11 to 72. We were all extremely comfortable and the house suited all our needs plus exceeded our expectations. Chef Javier prepared amazing beautiful world class meals and catered to our dietary needs and budget with ease. We had the most beautiful view from every room of the house, but my favorite is the way the glass walls of the living room opens up and allows for wonderful outdoor living with perfect ocean breezes. Every single family member loved the infinity edge pool with endless hours of lounging and relaxing in the pool made this house perfect for our group. The house, the beach access we could walk to the beach in a quick 10 minutes or to town in 10 minutes as well. Vista Hermosa had everything we needed. It was just perfect. All I could wish for after my week stay is that we had booked it longer. I can't wait to come back.

Costa Rica Done Right

First off, Costa Rica is SO beautiful and the location of the house was spectacular. Driving through the rainforest and driving through the little towns with amazing shops and restaurants before you get to this amazing house was an added perk. Upon arriving at the house you notice the architecture and how you have both the modern amenities needed on vacation well still having an open layout feel of being in the jungle still and being one with your surroundings. The house was spotless and the bedroom was the same. The concierge were so friendly and helpful with anything we needed on top of the house keepers cleaning the room daily and they also did the laundry we left for them and was always folded on our bed when we returned. Can't say enough about the chef and his amazing wife! They prepared us amazing dinner and breakfast and when we didn't wanna eat we ordered delivery from one of the local spots and it was delicious and affordable. The views from this house are breathtaking! Everyday you notice something new like a new bird or monkey! We would take the private beach path everyday and slowly take our time so we could find new animals, once on the beach the sand is so soft and the water is that perfect temperature. If your looking for stuff to do instead of lounging the beach there are several tours and things to do minutes from the house. All in all this house offers everything from the stunning ocean and jungle views to the modern comforts of home, we will definitely only be staying at Vista Hermosa when in Costa Rica!

Spectacular from start to finish

Everything about our experience at Vista Hermosa significantly exceeded our expectations. The owner, Dave, was incredibly helpful with keeping us updated on everything in Costa Rica prior to our trip. Susan, our concierge, was available up to and during our trip to answer any and all our questions and help coordinate and schedule everything for my family to have a stress-free vacation. The property is absolutely breathtaking. The views are second to none. The house has everything you might need and is perfectly laid out to accommodate large groups, but still intimate for smaller parties as well. Our chef, and the meals he prepared, rivaled the best restaurants in the states. His service and attention to our needs were incredible. It was a huge highlight of our trip. The housekeeping staff were so sweet and kept everything immaculate. They did our laundry and cleaned the entire property every single day. The walk to the beach was a breeze. I think they say 15-20 minutes walk, but we made it back up the hill from the beach in 9 minutes at a normal pace. We saw multiple species of monkeys including on our deck in the mornings. Our housekeeper, Gabi, spotted a Sloth in the tree next to the house and we watched him move from tree to tree all day too. Everything about Vista Hermosa and Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica were so much better than we were expecting. You can't go wrong with this place! Highly, Highly Recommended! We can't wait to come back!

Our stay at Vista Hermosa was the best part of Visiting Manuel Antonio!

This was our 4th family vacation in Manuel Antonio and by far the BEST EVER. We were a group of 12 traveling together and loved everything about the house. As we first walked in, our jaws literally dropped to the floor, the views as you walk up the stairs overlooking the infinity edge pool are to die for. The house is in a perfect location, about a 10-minute walk through a trail to their beautiful beach and about a 15-minute walk into town. Taxis are abundant in the area so we took advantage of them. While the top floor was my favorite part of the house (Kitchen, Living Room, Pool, open hang out area), I also loved all the amenities you could ever want and more. My favorite one was the Bluetooth sound system. Relaxing in the pool to my favorite music overlooking the entire beach was just completely mesmerizing. The meals that Chef Javier made for us were plain and simply outstanding and tasted better than the local restaurants we tried. Our concierge Shiona was great. Weeks after we booked the house, Shiona started planning our excursions and transportation. All we had to do was pick and choose and she handled the rest. My wife was so excited that she didn’t have to plan everything like she usually does on other vacations. Don the Property Manager was so nice to stop by and just say hi. The house is very large in fact, for us 12, we only used 6 bedrooms. Nobody ever used the other 2 bedrooms. Everyone complimented how nice it was to have a full bathroom in each bedroom, not to mention all the balconies connected to the bedrooms as well. We will definitely be returning to this house again on our next vacation, this time with much more friends and family.

Absolutely Awesome

Myself and our group of eleven extended family members and friends had a fantastic stay at Vista Hermosa in August 2018.On arrival ,we were greeted by our lovely concierge Susan who guided our group through a tour of the house, highlighting it's features and security options .Susan was always available to assist anyone in our group for what ever they needed. The six bedrooms in the main house have spectacular views of the sparkling ocean and are lovingly appointed . All of the bedrooms have the expected amenities including safes and en suite bathrooms stocked with high quality personal care items . The mattresses were extremely comfortable , the bedding fresh and new .In fact the entire house was very clean ,beautifully appointed and clearly well-maintained to the point of being flawless. The grounds and the foot path to the beach are surrounded by a multitude of attractive local plantings such as red heliconia .Everywhere around you ,Costa Rica's rich and varied wildlife catches your attention ,iguanas sunning on the steps and under the gates ,toucans and other brightly colored birds perched on trees and railings ,capuchin monkeys frolicking in the trees and sprinting across the balconies . One of the highlights of our stay were the meals prepared by the house chef Javier. Breakfast every morning included two types of fresh fruit juices and we always remember Javier's Eggs Benedict and corn fritters as the best we ever had .Dinners included fresh fish caught by local boats, filet mignon ,lobsters served with grilled vegetables ,fresh mashed potatoes ,fabulous desserts and the best key lime pie ever . We found the house great for socializing with the infinity pool ,the bar area around the pool, the music system that you could control with the ipad and from every vantage point in the house ,one sees only the jungle canopy and the vast stretch of the ocean,with no other distractions from the natural beauty.
