Französisches Dorfhaus mit privatem Pool

We checked the property just after the guests and we feel the review is inappropriate. We live away so this is always a concern however in this case unfortunately the guests didnt leave the house as expected. They also did not rrport anything to us.The property is clearly described as it is. The bedroom has a jack and jill bathroom and is seperared by 2 doors. The guests left the upstairs toilet blocked and rubbish unsorted in the bins. We were very disappointed in finding this when we arrived to check the quality of the house and feel this is the reason for their review as we have certainly not experienced this with more than 10 years of guests. The house is around £75 per night so its also hard to believe that providing quality linen and towels as well as a very well maintained garden and pool wasnt mentioned. However we understand cleaning issues can happen and if quickly reported can also be addressed so we do wonder why this wasnt done.

Thank you for your review. A guest document with tourist information in french was sent to yourselves prior to your stay. We communicated in french via messenger and our housekeeper spoke english to you when she was called out to help you lock the doors given you spoke english. As you stayed with no children, child proofing was not supplied. As our housekeeper was called out for minor things several times you would have had the opportunity to point out the broom was missing. In the meantime we have ensured this is available as well as a new vacuum cleaner. This is self catering accommodation, other guests have previously not had issues locking doors. We have since checked all door locks and as previously they are perfectly workable. We would not rent to this guest again and would not recommend them for self catering accommodation as unfortunately their expectation is to have someone on hand and whilst we have a local housekeeper and she was very happy to attend most guests will work simple things out for themselves.
