Hi Steven. Thanks for your review. I am disappointed the experience at La Grange did not meet with your expectations.

 However, I can confirm the issues you have raised - including the pool leak caused by a guest before your stay - have been dealt with. Important to clarify your “dirty” pool comment. Regular cleaning and chemical water checks confirm, otherwise. Our pool guy is fastidious in ensuring this is the case. I believe the “dirt” to which you refer is the discoloration of the liner around the water line, caused by a chemical reaction between salt, sun lotion, and leaves that inevitably land in the pool. 

 With regard to the slow leak, as you kindly offered to top up the pool yourself when required, we were under the impression it wasn’t an issue. If you had let me know, I would have arranged for the team to sort this out for you. I do regret not doing this in the first instance, and putting the onus on you, offered or otherwise.
 Please accept my apologies for my lack of good judgment, here. Rest assured, if you had raised ANY of these issues including cleaning, bedding, or towels with me during your stay, they would have been sorted, immediately. It’s such a shame I was only made aware of this after you left.

It's always a pleasure to host Alex and his family at La Grange, particularly as it is their third visit from Canada. I'm pleased the refinements we've made to the property in the last twelve have been well received. I'm also looking forward to visiting the sights that Alex discovered on his last trip.
