Wunderschöne Wohnung in Rapallo

Casa Ledner ist eine wunderschöne Wohnung, umgeben vom Grün eines Hügels direkt über Rapallo. Die Stadt ist auch zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichten.

Es handelt sich um eine elegante Wohnung von 150 Quadratmetern, die seit drei Generationen im Besitz derselben Familie ist. Außerhalb der Wohnung in westlicher Richtung liegt eine herrliche und große Terrasse mit Blick auf Rapallo, den Golf und die umliegenden Hügel. Sie befindet sich im ersten Stock eines kürzlich renovierten Gebäudes aus den 50er Jahren und verfügt während der Wintermonate über eine unabhängige Heizung. Die Wohnung wird traditionell von Nichtrauchern genutzt, Haustiere sind leider nicht erlaubt. Eine private Garage mit 1 Parkmöglichkeit ist vorhanden.
Die Mindestdauer der Wohnungsvermietung beträgt 6 Tage.

In diesem weltweit schwierigen Moment freuen wir uns besonders, unsere geräumige Terrasse anbieten zu können, auf der man die schönen Frühlings-, Sommer- und Herbsttage genießen kann. In der Sonne, im Schatten oder bequem am Tisch unter der Weinpergola der kleinen Frühstücksterrasse, die direkt neben dem Lesesaal der Wohnung liegt. Die robuste WiFi-Verbindung ermöglicht ein Home Office sowohl draußen im Grünen als auch in den hellen Innenräumen. Durchaus ein großer Vorteil in Zeiten des social distancing.

Rapallo liegt im Zentrum des Golfs von Tigullio. Die umliegende Tourismusregion erstreckt sich im Westen bis nach Genua und im Osten bis zu den 5 Terre und Portovenere. Von der Stadt aus kann man gut übers Meer, mit Auto oder Eisenbahn Sestri Levante, Chiavari, Zoagli, Santa Margherita, Portofino und Camogli erreichen.

Check in was easy and we had acces to a parking facility which is an absolutely good idea in the area.Very nice appartment. Beautifull garden in which we had our breakfast every morning with a lovely view.Cosy rooms, beautifully decorated.If we had a tiny problem the help was instant.A well situated appartment, comfortabel and beautifull. A good place to be if you want to experience the ligurian coast.

A view on Rapallo

Surreal the view over the city is breathtaking. If I must say anything… there ARE 3 1/2 flights of stairs to climb. But the view is well worth it.

Beautiful Views

This apartment fit perfectly into our trip to Italy. After our adventures during the day we were able to come back to a relaxing atmosphere. We spent the evenings sitting on the terrace under the grape vines drinking wine, eating cheese and pasta. The sunsets are spectacular with the lights of Rapallo below. Although the walk up to the house from town is a steep one, it's definitely worth it. Renting scooters is highly recommended, as it's a fun, inexpensive way to see the surrounding towns - as well as making it easy to get to the house. The owner, Silvio, was very helpful and easy to work with. The house was just as advertised, and if we go back to Rapallo, we would definitely stay here again! Nice place.

Great base for an extended stay

We decided on Rapallo as we wanted to stay in one place in Italy for one month. We were 2 couples with family/friends visiting so Casa Ledner was ideal with 3 bedrooms and plenty of space. Being walkers Casa Ledners' location made a great base (never mind the short walk uphill - think of the views) and with convenient access to the train and bus stations we could easily visit Cinque Terre and Tigullio Gulf villages. Buying local produce (and wine!) in the Rapallo market and shops, then enjoying our meals on the terrace overlooking Rapallo while the sun sets was a delight. Not forgetting aperitivos and meals in the numerous bars and restaurants. The owner, Silvio, made all arrangements and was very helpful and ensured our stay met expectations. As the property description says it has been owned by the same family for three generations - so don't expect everything to be brand new and modern - but that's the charm of Italy. (Check-out all the owners' grandfather's paintings on the walls - wonderful). Would we do it all again - definitely yes!

WONDERFUL STAY

Great communication with owner prior to arrival.The information given to us regarding area, rental unit, directions and check in procedures were detailed and accurate. We had a group of 5 adult family members checking in, so we coordinated all of our different travel plans to arrive at 16:00. Tiziana met us at the unit, and gave us a thorough tour of of the unit and beautiful grounds. She shared with us information regarding local stores, restaurants, beaches and transportation portals. This information was extremely helpful throughout our 10 day stay. The unit was spacious and comfortable. 3 large bedrooms, 2 baths, and 2 large living areas. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, cups and cooking utensils.The outdoor terraces were covered with plants, grape vines, and boasted beautiful views overlooking the town of Rapallo. With 5 adults sharing this unit, we could have used a few more towels, although we made due with washing several times to keep up with the shortage. The weather stayed in the mid 90's our entire stay, but we did ok staying cool with the 2 portable AC's. The unit is situated up on steep hill with a private drive, only available for small vehicles. Upon checking out, we arranged for our private car/driver to meet us at the bottom of the road, for it would have been difficult for larger vehicle to get up/down. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful private unit. We would love to return and stay again. Thank you Silvio and Tiziana.

Wonderful place to say in Rapallo

We enjoyed our stay in the Casa Ledner very much. The view from the terrasse is spectacular and the breakfast area under the pergola was just fantastic. We arrived when the grapes had already grown, and the Jasmin was in full bloom. The scent was heavenly. The apartment is very spacious and has three large bedrooms. The wonderful terrasse was overlooking Rapallo, the harbour and the city. The kitchen is small, but well equipped. We also enjoyed being surrounded by original artworks by Mr. Ledner who painted beautiful landscapes of the area. The apartment is very close to Rapallo centre and to the beach. Walking down takes 5 minutes, up a bit longer as the climb is very steep. The garage is an adventure. We came with an Opel Combo – a medium-size car but not as large as a SUV/VAN. We did eventually fit into the parking space but getting in was a challenge. Also due to the narrowness of the passage into the garage. Therefore, once we had it parked, we did not touch it anymore until we departed. Instead, we walked and took the train. Parking around the area is rare for any car larger than a Fiat Cinquecento. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Ledner and will return in the future. With a smaller car. 😊

Geschmackvolles Mid-Century Apartment mit schönem Blick

Großzügige Wohnung mit toller, üppig begrünter Terrasse auf mehreren Ebenen. Wir (Eltern & Teenager-Tochter) haben uns wohlgefühlt in dem etwas historischen und künstlerischen Ambiente, das mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist, umgekehrt aber auch von den Gästen einen entsprechend wertschätzenden Umgang erwartet. Am Hang gelegen, was gut ist für die Aussicht - und die Kondition. Rapallo ist durch die Bahnverbindung ein großartiger Standort für die Erkundung der gesamten Küste zwischen Genua und La Spezia.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr gross und gut ausgestattet. Die Einrichtung ist zwar alt, aber sauber und alles funktioniert. Meerblick hat man nur von der unteren Terrasse aus. Das WLAN ist stabil und super schnell. Man gelangt in 5-10 Min. zum Meer und zu einem grossen Lebensmittel-Laden. Der Rückweg dauert länger, da die Wohnung am Hang liegt. Die Vermieter sind sehr professionell, freundlich und schnell. Alles bestens, herzlichen Dank!

Entspannter Aufenthalt in schöner Umgebung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen mit wunderschönem Garten schönem Ausblick. In knapp 10 Minuten war das Zentrum und Meer zu Fuß erreicht , der Weg zurück dauerte dann etwas länger, da es doch ein Anstieg war. Wir wurden freundlich und kompetent empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Garage ist unbedingt notwendig aber nur für kleine Autos oder sehr geübte Fahrer

Alles was man braucht und eine atemberaubende Terrasse

Tolles, riesiges Appartement mit parkähnlicher Terrasse und schöner Aussicht auf Rapallo und die Bucht. Alles vorhanden was man braucht und der Checkin verlief Reibungslos. Innenstadt und Bucht in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar - steiler Anstieg. Garage ist nicht für Kombis oder größere SUVs geeignet (Seat Ateca ist gerade so und mit viel rangieren rein und wieder reingegangen). Sehr gerne wieder, war eine schöne Zeit! Vielen Dank für alles!

Wohnung mit Charme und Gartenparadies

Die Wohnung liegt am Berg. Von der großen und wunderbar bepflanzten Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf Rapallo und Meer. Die Stadtmitte und Uferpromenade sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist eine günstiger Ausgangspunkt für Besuche nach Portofino, Santa Margaritha und Cinque Terre. Gute Tipps zur Erkundung der Gegend und Kartenmaterial liegen in der Wohnung vor und sind sehr wertvoll. Übergabe und Kommunikation waren unkompliziert, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist eine große, alte, helle und gepflegte Wohnung und strahlt eine friedliche Atmosphäre aus. Uns ist aufgefallen, dass die Wohnung trotz der heißen Mittagssonne kühl bleibt, was sehr angenehm war.

Bel appartement mais difficile d'accès pente énorme sur 1 km escalier, réservé à un public sportif...très compliqué de s'y garer également. Peut-être avec une fiat 500...Équipements cuisine très insuffisant et salles d'eau d'époques..

Here is why: - On our listing the detailed house information, photographs and a video describe precisely every aspect of our apartment. This allows our distinguished guests to learn in advance of their booking, all about its features, content and unique position, overlooking the Rapallo bay. On this last point, we agree that, as described by the website and house description, in order to privilege of the unique view, a short drive or walk uphill is required. Despite this, in our past guests experience, the walk uphill was quite feasible by all at their own pace, and no specific claim about its accessibility was made. - The 2 bathrooms that you describe as "old-fashioned" are up to contemporary standards, as well as perfectly visible in the photo gallery. - Regarding the parking space: when you inquired about the parking space for your car prior to confirming your reservation, we sent you the exact measures of our private garage and we agreed that your car would fit. We recognize that we should have put more stress on the manoeuvre needed to park; however, in the end you were also able to park comfortably along our private road. - The kitchen is thoroughly equipped with all needed cooking accessories for a comfortable vacation stay. This is also well described by its pictures, and we have always been open to accommodate special needs if requested. Lastly, we would like to put emphasis on the fact that all our previous guests have been informed equally of these matters, and no one has had specific remarks. Indeed, the average rating has always been between 4 and 5 stars. We are very sorry you felt negatively about our property, and we trust you will concur on our detailed explanation for our disagreement. Christina and Silvio, the owners.

Light and spacious apartment

A light and airy apartment with amazing views over Rapallo from the terrace, and spectacularly from the living room. Agree with some of the reviews that we were using someone’s holiday home, so not a bland and pristine holiday let. There is a steep climb up from Rapallo, and also up the apartment steps from the road but doable even for a couple in their seventies! Loved Rapallo for it’s lively centre, and the recommendations in the guest book for restaurants and sourcing of fresh local food were spot on. We had some delicious fresh pasta suppers on the terrace accompanied by some excellent local wine. Rapallo is a great hub from which to reach lovely coastal towns and beaches by boat or by the excellent train service. And Genova is only half an hour away by train. Thank you Silvio and Christina

Rapallo

The communication with the owner was excellent. He was very nice and made sure the check-in process was easy and very clear. The property is pretty much as photographed. It is spacious with a lovely terrace. There is a small table and chairs outside under a beautiful trellises. If you want to utilize the terrace by day there are beach chairs at the apartment. It is pretty dated but the photos show that. There are two portable AC units which can be moved from room to room as needed and since it was extremely hot we needed to move them around to cool down the apartment. It’s a walk uphill and upstairs from town so you will get your excersice.

Fint boende med underbar utsikt

Kontakten med hyresvärden har varit utmärkt. All information och dialog är klanderfri. Lägenheten är klassisk, vacker och ren. Lägenhetens utemiljö är helt enastående. Vi rekommenderar andra att besöka Rapallo och bo i denna lägenhet.

We were given a nice reception by Tiziana she showed us the whole apartment and informed us of all the necessities. We had a nice stay and a perfect starting point for excursions to the Cinque Terre, Portofino, Cenova. Short way down to town, but with a pram it could be a bit tiring up the slopes of the apartment. Many thanks to Christina and Silvio for a great stay.

Great place to stay in Rapallo

We had a great time in Rapallo, and staying in this apartment was just wonderful. Everything was very well organized. Our favorite place was the main terrace. What a view - and what a beautiful garden! We had many lovely meals in the nice living room, and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere in the apartment The appartement worked very well for our family. The only challenge was that my husband had rented a too big car. We could use the garage, but there was not much space left. The placement of the appartement suited our plans well. We had short way to both supermarked, bus, trains and we got to see a lot of the area. We had a great holiday week, and would love to come back. Vivian, Oslo

Bel appartement avec jardin-terrasse

Beaucoup de charme pour cet appartement spacieux. Le jardin-terrasse offre une vue magnifique de la petite ville de Rapallo et son port. La localisation permet de s’y rendre à pied, en moins de 10mn. Très bonne communication avec les propriétaires. Bref, une adresse à recommander!
