As this is a self-catering property, toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel are not provided as standard, and we’re sorry if this wasn’t clear prior to your stay. We are concerned to hear your comments regarding a smell of smoke in the second bedroom, as the property is strictly non-smoking. We will ensure this is investigated with our housekeeping team. The property is located right in the heart of York, just a short walk from the Minster and many of the city’s main attractions. Unfortunately, with such a central location, some external city noise from deliveries, refuse collections and nearby activity is unavoidable and is outside of our control. We appreciate your feedback and are glad the location provided such a convenient base for exploring York.
