Das Rose Cottage ist ein traditionelles Cottage in Dales mit Holzbalken und einem Holzofen. Es befindet sich in dem kleinen Dorf Keld an der Spitze von Swaledale im Herzen des Yorkshire Dales National Park. Das Haus ist von einer atemberaubenden Landschaft umgeben: Heuwiesen, die im Juni in Farbe erstrahlen, wilde Hügel und Moore und spektakuläre Wasserfälle. Das robuste Swaledale-Schaf ist nie weit weg. Das Rose Cottage verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer für 5 Personen, ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne und ebenerdiger Dusche sowie eine zusätzliche Toilette im Erdgeschoss neben dem Hauswirtschaftsraum. Es gibt ein geräumiges Esszimmer und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit Ledersofas.
Es gibt einen nach Süden ausgerichteten Garten mit Gartenmöbeln, in dem Sie einen Sommerabend verbringen können. Volle Zentralheizung, Kaminofen, nach Süden ausgerichteter Garten und Parkplatz

Perfect getaway

Rose Cottage was a beautiful and extremely well kept accommodation. It was perfectly suited for our needs and was really comfortable. The location was ideal and the scenery was quite simply stunning! I would definitely stay here again.

Roomy and cozy stay

We had a great stay at the Rose cottage. Welcomed with some lovely flowers and the well known delicious cake, we soon felt at home. Keld is a perfect place for hiking and there are definately some nice places in the Dales to visit. A good place when you want to hike or relax and be a bit away from the hectic life.

This is a wonderful, fully equipped house.The house was lovely and warm on arrival, with plenty of logs for the fire . The beds were very comfy and warm.The house had everything we needed for a week walking in the hills

Immaculate, cosy and welcoming.

A really delightful cottage in a beautiful part of the country. Rose Cottage is probably the most well maintained and comfortable holiday cottage we have ever stayed in, and there have been many! Thank you Alison for making us feel so welcome.

Amazing Cottage in a Stunning Setting

Stayed here for three nights. The place felt like home with all the comforts and amenities one would need. It is spacious with generous sized bedrooms, and a relaxing living room. It is located in the beautiful village of Keld, with hikes at your doorstep. I highly recommend a stay, and I know, like myself, you will be back. Thanks Alison. 😊

Wonderful Cottage in a Wonderful Location - Highly Recommended

Lovely cosy cottage that met, no not met, exceeded all our expectations. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and so cosy, we felt "at home" as soon as we arrived. Communications with the owner were brilliant and the fresh flowers and home baked fruit leaf a lovely touch. The location was great with a number of interesting and varied walks on the doorstep. Will certainly be looking to revisit in the future.

Wonderful holiday in Keld.

We enjoyed our stay in this property very much. The cottage is very clean, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The garden is beautiful and a lovely place to sit and have a glass of wine after a day's walking in the hills. Parking in front of the cottage is easy. The area is stunning. (It is advisable to take provisions with you as it is a fair drive to the shops.) We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cottage. Alison kindly decorated the cottage with a Christmas tree and decorations for us. The goodies she left for us were greatly appreciated! Very comfortable stay. Lovely with the wood burner. Kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. We hope to return when the weather is better. Thank you!

The owners, Raymond and Alison Calvert, live a mile up the road at Hoggarths Farm with their sons Andrew and Matthew. The farm is a working hill farm, breeding Swaledale sheep and beef cattle. Raymond has lived there all his life with Alison joining him from Scarborough when they got married. Rose Cottage has been in Raymond’s family for many years.
