Lovely Barn Conversion with access to the Dales
Beautifully converted Stone barn with roomy Living room, kitchen and bedroom is comfortable and full of character. The bed is especially comfortable. Ideally situated near Aysgarth to visit the falls and many hiking opportunties. We hope to return!
Thanks for your review. I'm glad you both had a good time. Funnily enough a few people have mentioned the comfy bed 😀
If you're ever back this way again we'd love to have you come and stay.
Kind regards - Phil

Beautiful old stone cottage in the wilds of North Yorkshire
A beautiful old stone cottage literally 'away from it all' where we spent four nights and could have stayed much longer it was so good. Very well appointed with modern equipment, a good comfy bed and a multi- fuel stove which kept us 'toasty' on nights when the outside temperature was at zero degrees.
Comprehensive local information was given by owner and there were numerous good pubs and eateries within easy reach. For us it was beautiful in the November fog and rain, in summer sunshine it must be heaven, we'd return anytime.
Hello Tim. Thank you for that lovely review - it's very kind of you to take the time to write it. I'm so pleased you had a lovely stay, and that you both found everything with the cottage was to your satisfaction. If you do come again, hopefully it'll be a bit warmer for you! 😀 Kind regards - Phil
Perfect cottage and location for couple looking for a short break to walk and tour round Dales
Had a fantastic 4 days with superb weather too! Cottage was clean, warm and cosy, with everything we needed. Location was very peaceful, but also very central for accessing all the attractions the Dales has to offer. Phil, the owner, supplied us with really useful information prior to our visit and there were helpful leaflets and maps at the cottage. He was also quick to respond to our enquiries. Would definitely stay again.
Ideal for walking and touring the Dales
The cottage is very well equipped, clean and cosy. It is in an ideal location for a couple wanting to do all that the Dales has to offer. We walked to West Burton and Aysgarth Falls from the cottage, but also visited Hawes and Bolton Castle which are both only a short distance by car. The Street Head Inn is a 5 minute walk away and offers excellent food. Phil, the owner, provided us with an excellent information pack in advance and was quick to respond to our enquiries. We would certainly look to return in the future.
