Mt. Baker Lodging's Cabin # 1 - Ein perfekter neuer, moderner Familienurlaub mit Whirlpool!

Diese neue und moderne 2-Geschichte, 2+ Schlafzimmer, 1 3/4-Bad Haus ist der perfekte Ort für Ihren Familienurlaub! Die erste Etage verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss mit gewölbten Decken, einen geräumigen Wohnbereich mit einem Gas-Kamin und ein Verstecken-Bett, einem großzügigen Essbereich sowie ein Gourmet-Küche mit hochwertigen Geräten und Granit. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, von denen eines über eine Wäscherei mit Waschmaschine und Trockner verfügt. Beide verfügen über 1 Queensize-Bett sowie Monitore mit WLAN zum Streaming von Netflix, Pandora und Amazon Prime * * auf Ihrem Konto) und separate Türen, um auf das angrenzende Hinterdeck zuzugreifen. Eingebettet zwischen den beiden unteren Schlafzimmer 1-Vollbad. Die zweite Etage verfügt über einen offenen Dachboden Schlafbereich mit 1-Queen-Size-Bett und ein angrenzendes 3- / 4-Bad. Eine expansive Fensterbereich mit westlicher Belichtung kombiniert lässt viel Sonnenlicht in diesem hellen und fröhlichen Hause. Etwas außerhalb des Hinterdecks befindet sich ein Gasgrill und Ihr eigener, neuer Whirlpool! Dieses haustierfreundliche und überwachte Familienferienhaus bietet Platz für 6 bis 8 Personen (Maximale Belegung).

Baker Ski Area und spektakuläre Urwälder, ein Gebiet reich an Geschichte und Outdoor-Möglichkeiten.

Das Mount Baker Recreation Area ist ein ganzjähriger Spielplatz! SOMMER Gäste können herrlich wandern, mountainbiken, bergsteigen, klettern, wandern, angeln (See und Fluss), Kleinwildjagd, Wildwasser-Rafting, Kajakfahren, Kanufahren, Schwimmen, Naturbeobachtungen, Tennis und Golf. Excellent Stay

Perfect cozy cabin for a long weekend skiing with close friends and family. Hot tub was clean and ready for use. Walking distance to Chair 9. Would recommend this spot to others!

Great house near Mt Baker

We loved the open kitchen, cozy bedrooms, sparkling hot tub, and sunny living room in this house. The neighborhood was quiet and the location perfect for hiking or skiing. The management company was easy to reach and very helpful. Would definitely return!

a cozy little place. great for dogs, though the neighbors are very close in the back. the upstairs gets very warm at night, so open a window!

Nice place

The cabin is quite spacious and nicely organized. The kitchen has everything that’s needed. The upstairs bedroom could use a new mattress, the current one is quite soft. The downstairs bedrooms are i very good shape. Would definitely come back.

Nice place but needs a new refigerator

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The house was clean with a better appointed kitchen than most rentals. We did have an issue with the refrigerator holding temp. I would just consider it bad luck if prior reviews didn't report the same issue. Fridge issues aside, it was a fantastic place.

We inspected the refrigerator subsequent to your departure, and discovered that someone had turned it all the way up...causing it to freeze the condenser. They are only a couple of years old and in very good condition, but obviously not your style. The TV's/monitors were working fine when checked prior to your arrival and again subsequent to your departure. We're going to have to chalk that one up to user error. Please remember that if you have any questions, we are just a quick phone call away (the cabin is equipped with a land line and wifi connectivity) and are happy to assist. The description says "new." It in fact needs a fair amount of upkeep, especially outdoors. I had to cut away 4 foot branches of a thorny bush in the way of the entrance. Clearly no one has maintained the property in a while. Additionally, the front porch furniture needs to be replaced. I was going to say that it needed to be repainted, but it is too far gone. The little table literally collapsed as we walked by it. The hot tub was nice. The shed behind it, though, with the Tyvek siding exposed, detracted from the cozy mountain vibe we had hoped for. Kitchen was well equipped. May we suggest more kitchen towels? Also would have been nice to have some extra towels for when we used the hot tub. Please warn renters to bring their own spices and kitchen staples.

Perfect Mountain Getaway - Fun for the Whole Fam!

I rented the cabin for me and my family as I had several photography shoots up at Mount Baker over the course of a few days. The Snowline community was perfect - my kids LOVED the outdoor pool and played tennis with dad while I worked. And the hot tub was perfect at the end of the day and had already been pre-heated when we arrived. The community was quiet and neighbors were all polite and friendly. We brought our dogs and they also loved the place. Location was perfect - tons of hikes within a 5-15 min range, and only 30-45 minutes up to the top of Baker. There's even a great pizza place across the highway. The staff was very kind and even got in their car to bring me the keys (I had left at the office!), but I circled round once I remembered. Hubby already told me to book it again next year!

Nice place, hidden away in the foresty mountains

Nice place with all the comforts from home. Although clean, the place is a bit worn. Bathrooms could use a refresh, as do the bathroom and kitchen towels. Management only provided 2 dishwasher and 2 laundry pods (it was in the instructions), which was a bit awkward. We ended up buying a small dishsoap, a clean hand towel and an oven cookie sheet at Target (45 mins away). But otherwise it was a nice place. The gated community it is located in is beautiful and we went for multiple walks around the little streets. Would rent again from Mt. Baker lodging. They are very friendly and communicate clearly and quickly. Next time maybe a different unit though.

Good location, but tired cabin could use a refresh

Property could use a thorough cleaning. Kitchen was sticky and dust from ceiling fan had then stuck in the greasy surfaces on some shelves, counter by stove, top and sides of refrigerator. No AC in home, which is totally on us that we missed that in the listing, however the windows in the living room did not open and the windows in the bedrooms had no screens. It was so hot in the home that we had to drive to Bellingham to purchase fans. Adirondack chairs on front deck needed attention. One was so wobbly that everyone was afraid to sit on it. All the chairs could use a coat of paint. On the plus side, kitchen was well stocked with a lot of cooking items although most needed to be washed before use.

Hi Angela: Thank you for your review for family Cabin #1. We are very disappointed to hear that you had a disappointing stay, and that you found the kitchen surfaces to be "sticky". We pride ourselves on our housekeeping standards, (see our other VRBO and Google reviews) and will definitely discuss this issue with the housekeeper responsible. You are correct in that this cabin-in-the-woods is not equipped with an air conditioning system (and none is advertised). You did stay during an unusually hot spell, and understand that the weather conditions might not have been the most pleasant. Sadly; while the cabin is equipped with both a land line and wifi connectivity, we did not hear from you at any time during your five night stay. Had you have taken the time to reach out to us, we would have been more than happy to send up a housekeeper to correct any deficient housekeeping issues, and would have been happy to provide you with a couple of fans. I liken this to ordering a meal in your favorite restaurant...not finding it to your liking, and then writing a bad review versus advising the staff during your visit so that the problem could be corrected to your satisfaction, and you could have enjoyed a good meal. Awesome Mountain Retreat

Best skiing in Washington State! Something for all ages. The Wake ‘n Bakery nearby was so scrumptious and offer gluten free options for breakfast. We bought some of our own provisions and the well equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare meals. This is a nature getaway that we will add to the top of our family vacation options.

The fridge was broken

We arrived. Unpacked and loaded groceries and frozen items in the fridge. We came back hours later to spoiled food, melted items and a mess. We called the management company. They were wonderful. They provides coolers for our entire stay. It was not ideal but we had no choice.

We're not exactly sure what happened there, but as you mentioned during departure, the refrigerator appeared to be working correctly when you checked out. When we checked it later on that morning, the refrigerator was working correctly at 38 degrees, and the freezer was very cold, as well, with ice in the ice trays. That said; we will keep an eye on it to make sure that what you experienced doesn't happen again. Great place to rejuvinate

Loved the layout of cabin, jacuzzi was fantastic, excellent high ceilings, big windows. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Such a beautiful neighborhood to walk through... should have brought bicycles! Definately will next time. Detailed instructions were very important and helpful! No phone service was such a delight!... just make sure each party/car within the cabin has a gate key. Lack of reception in the area can make that tricky. Able to get online with computers just fine. We would all like to visit again. Thank you!

Great getaway

We loved our stay at this cabin. Very clean and cozy! The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub is amazing. Property is close to lots of great hikes! Only drawback is that it is quite close to neighbors.
