Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in und Lage
Nice place, clean. The beds and linens are excellent. Most things worked but were old and dated. The flatware seemed from a grade school cafeteria, pans are unusable, peeling teflon and old, sticky stains that won't scrub off. Not enough off either in any case. The silverware drawer in the dishwasher was still full of old, crusty items we were concerned about using even after washing. Premium priced but none of the associated niceties expected. A half bottle of generic shampoo and some Equate hand soap in the shower. No moisturizers, conditioners, no basket of goodies. Most of the towels were ok but some were ragged, there are too few and none large enough for tubbing. The hot tub is exposed to the street, so a big towel or robe would have been nice.The tub was clean and functional but an old model with fewer jets of little power. The sauna worked fine but is advertised as 4-person yet barely fits 3, 2 comfortably. Finally, the Mt Baker Hwy was closed soon after arrival. The host told us just before we but we couldn't change plans that late. Not blaming them but would have been nice to be offered some compensation. For the money, I will look elsewhere next time.
