Thank you for the review and we are very glad you enjoyed your stay. Some years are worse than others for mosquitos we normally use, and sometimes leave out, spirals which work quite well. As to the walk home - towards the end of 2018 new LED lighting was installed all along the river so it really shouldn't be a problem. There should be a torch and a head torch on the kitchen shelf for use if needed. Lots more restaurants to try! ATB Henry

Thank you for the review. We are happy to supply some more synthetic pillows should we be notified in advance. Heating the pool is a frequent matter of discussion and there will be a grand announcement when (or if) it happens. One problem is that the aesthetics of the garden around the house would be somewhat ruined by a heat exchanger, so until we can decide where to put it we all will continue to enjoy the pleasures of natural heating! The other problem is that there would have to be a rise in the rental cost to cover the energy charges. We are really glad you enjoyed yourselves and would be most welcome if you chose to come again.

Thank you for your review. Just for clarification there is a lot of moveable furniture and we have entertained 9 around the outdoor table utilising some of the 8 additional chairs in the house. We agree that the red sun loungers could be better, but there are also deck chairs and the 'salon' furniture for outside use. We deliberately have one harder and one softer double bed so that guests can choose which they prefer, as beds are very much a personal thing. We do try and improve things on a regular basis. However most importantly we are glad you enjoyed your stay and found it good value.
