Tynedale bietet Platz für sieben Personen in vier Schlafzimmern und liegt zentral im freundlichen Dorf St. Teath in North Cornwall. Es ist die perfekte Basis für einen Urlaub im Freien oder in der Familie. Zehn Minuten von der herrlichen Küste von North Cornwall zum Wandern und Meer. Es ist in der Nähe der charmanten Küstenstädte Port Isaac (von Doc Martin Ruhm), Rock, die Feinschmecker von Padstow, Polzeathand Widemouth Bay zum Surfen, die wilde Landschaft von Arthur Tintagel, der South West Coast Path, Poldark Land, Rosamund Pilcher Trail und viele andere malerische und historische Stätten.

Die Gegend ist reich an guten Restaurants und freundlichen Pubs, es ist in der Nähe des Eden Project (45 Minuten) und vieler anderer Attraktionen, sowohl natürliche als auch von Menschenhand geschaffene, die Cornwall zu bieten hat. Die geschäftige Kleinstadt Wadebridge mit ihren drei Supermärkten und interessanten Fachgeschäften ist nur 20 Minuten entfernt.

Das Haus verfügt über zwei gemütliche Wohnzimmer, jeweils mit TV und Holzofen. Die vier komfortablen Schlafzimmer und die geräumige und gut ausgestattete Küche / Esszimmer machen es auch ideal zum Entspannen. Free Wi-Fi wird zusammen mit einer guten Auswahl an Spielen und einer Wii zur Verfügung gestellt. Die abgeschiedene Terrasse mit Grill und Gartenmöbeln bietet einen entspannenden Platz für Mahlzeiten im Freien und Unterhaltung, und die Unterkunft verfügt auch über einen charmanten pflegeleichten Vorgarten.

St. Teath begrüßt seine Besucher mit einem Geschäft / Post / off-Lizenz ("alle Öffnungszeiten geöffnet"), Metzger mit lokal produzierten Fleisch, eine Kirche aus dem 14. Gemütliches Cottage

Gemütliches Cottage mit guter Ausstattung und geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Geräumige Küche mit großzügigem Essbereich - gut für eine fünfköpfige Familie geeignet. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

Very cozy house!

The house was super cozy and, apart from the weather, we had a very nice holiday. Above all, the kitchen was very good, except for the blunt knives that just weren't fun to cook with. Unfortunately, the digital equipment (fast internet and Amazon Prime) was far too good... Our children could hardly get out of the house. The house is located in the middle of a little town, which has the disadvantage that you really have to do everything by car. Due to the narrow local streets, this usually took a relatively long time. Shopping in Wadebridge (Tesco) quickly took two hours and more. If you like hiking and aren't afraid to use the car more often, this is a perfect house in a quiet, tourist-free little town. However, apart from a pub, a cafe and a post office, there is no infrastructure for daily needs. To do this you then have to drive to Wadebridge (approx. 15 minutes). Apart from a very small courtyard, there is no garden, which didn't bother us much given the bad weather. Overall, a very individual, beautiful house in which we felt comfortable.

Lovely stay, perfect for a family

We had a lovely holiday. We loved the house and the log burners. The two reception rooms were great with the wide variety of ages we had. Perfect enclosed courtyard for dogs. Great communication from start to finish from Christine. Good amenities just a few doors down - cafe, pub with food, butchers (although this was closed during our stay). Thank you for a great holiday!

St Teath with my doggy

Loved my stay with my dog Ralph who loved the beaches. Had a slight issue with connecting to the internet when I arrived but that was sorted and Christine was on the phone to assist as well. The downside is that parking isn't great and I didn't fancy leaving my car in the road outside the house but I always managed to get a space in the square opposite the pub. The pub was only 50 or so metres from the house so no problem with the worry about drinking and driving and the food was very good.

Wonderful holiday stay

Owners were so welcoming and the community in the village were so kind and helpful. We loved the cottage and had some amazing days out at local beaches. Local cafe and pub are amazing. They serve fantastic food and all at very reasonable prices. Everyone was so friendly.

5 plus 2 dogs go to north Cornwall

Nice quaint cottage, fully equipt kitchen, comfortable lounges. Ideal for 5 adults and two dogs. Quiet location with an excellent pub, serving lovely value for food and a good pint. Overall well worth the 8 hr journey down and 10hr return to Essex.

A week in Cornwall

Nice property well suited for our needs, lots of space to spread out. Did short trips from the property which were great, Bodmin, Port Isaac, Padstow etc. Two small items, need a few more kitchen towels, and new pillows they were awful. Parking in front of the house you take your life in your hands but always found a place around the clock tower 2 minutes walk away. All in all a very enjoyable stay, thanks.

Enjoyed everything about the house & its surroundings & highly recommend eating at the White Hart Pub next door. The only thing about the property that I would change are the bed mattress they where without a shadow of doubt the most uncomfortable things to sleep on but I understand that to others they may be perfect but in these days of memory foam this is the way too go to replace old spring mattress.

Great Stay

The property was easily large enough for three adults and 3 children. A great location for lots of north Cornwall attractions and beaches. The pub is 50m away and has a good playground and serves good food. My only real criticisms of the property were the kitchen was missing a couple of family sized dishes and the house was in need of a little tlc. However these were minor criticisms.

Fabulous

The photos certainly don’t do this place justice. The cottage was charming and more than adequate for 6 adults. The biscuits and flowers left on the table were a lovely touch after a long journey. We will definitely be back again. The village is quaint and very peaceful and we were fortunate enough to be visiting in Carnival week too. After holidaying in Cornwall for over 50 years I can truly say this is one of the nicest places we have stayed in, such a cosy, homely feel. Well worth a visit!!

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was lovely and very spacious. Very well equipped especially the kitchen. Quite creaky but otherwise very peaceful and St Teath is a lovely village.

We are parents to three surf loving sons (and now two grandsons) and live in Devon, just an hour away from Tynedale. We have spent most of our summers and holidays in North Cornwall and my children grew up eating chips and sandy pasties on the beach between tides and surf. We boat and spend as much time as possible afloat and fishing off the beautiful Cornish and Devon coasts during the good weather. Tynedale belonged to my mother, it is a family home and we have relatives in the village and local area. It is lovely to hear stories of how others enjoy the house as we have and we hope you will also love it and make happy and lasting memories for all the family.

It is comfortable and well-furnished and equipped but child- and dog-friendly. The log burners give it a cosy atmosphere. It is well-placed for activities and attractions but not overrun with other visitors.
