Das Coach House at The Glen ist ein umgebauter Heuboden in einem Kutschenhaus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und umfasst:
Erdgeschoss: Eingangshalle / Garderobe.
Erster Stock: Küche / Wohnbereich mit festen Eichenböden. Schlafzimmer mit Superking- oder Twin-Bett-Konfiguration. Luxus-Badezimmer mit Dusche über der Badewanne.

Die Unterkunft bietet Platz für 2 Personen in einer Superking- oder Twin-Bett-Konfiguration, je nach Wunsch.

Great place to explore the area

We had a great holiday. The Coach House is a quiet place to stay, clean and very comfortable. The shops and restaurants are a short walk away so you have everything you need nearby. Getting to Loch Lomond and the surrounding area for walks and exploring is easy and not far with a car. Highly recommend.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed our time at the Guest House very much! It’s close enough to town that you can walk to restaurants, shops, and the train station. Yet, it’s in a quaint neighborhood that makes you feel like a local. Very clean. Great host.

Brilliant apartment for 2

Very clean tidy warm with everything needed for a holiday. Host provided groceries that covered brews, breakfast and snacks ( which was great when you need that cup of tea on arrival) Great location for walking, cycling and water sports. Good selection of cafes, takeaways, pubs etc within walking distance. Looking forward to next visit

Exceptional Property

We absolutely loved the Coach House. It was spotlessly clean with what looked to be new furnishing and fittings. Bed is extremely comfortable and fast wi-fi. It is on a very quiet 20mph road and only a short walk down to the town which has loads of good restaurants and interesting shops.. We would definitely like to go back.

Great property,great hosts.

The property is beautiful,decorated to a very high standard and is equipped with everything that you could need for your stay. Susan and Fergus are very welcoming and are always on hand or contactable should you have any queries. The location is great as a base for exploring the west coast or for a 10 minute stroll down to the waterfront or to the many nice bars and restaurants in Helensburgh. A nice touch is the welcome pack of milk,bread butter and if you're lucky something lovely for breakfast,I'll say no more but get some bacon,sausage and beans to go with it! I cannot recommend The Coachouse highly enough and will definitely return.

Fabulous place to stay

We were the first people in after lock down. Everything possible had been provided or put in place to keep us safe, such as hand sanitiser just inside the front door, remote controls in plastic bags etc. plus a lovely welcoming food package. The property itself was a fantastic standard throughout with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The owners were available in person or via phone for any information regarding the property or places to visit/etc as well as leaving a very comprehensible information folder. The only thing not under control was the weather!! Would not hesitate to recommend as a wonderful place to stay.

Wunderbares Schottland - most beautiful Scotland

Ein zauberhafter Ort, ein wunderbarer Platz in einem paradiesischen Garten - um Ruhe zu finden oder Ausflüge nach Glasgow oder in die Highlands zu machen. Excellent property, lovely host, great area

We had a lovely stay at this property. It is a beautiful and spacious apartment in a very peaceful and convenient location. The host Susan is excellent, she was very attentive to our needs and provided a friendly welcome. The apartment has everything you need for a stay in Helensburgh. Parking was easy and secure. A really good base to explore this area of scotland.

Really enjoyed our three night stay at this property. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, very welcoming and had done everything possible to ensure the property was safe to rent. Well equipped and spotlessly clean in a great location we would not hesitate to return to this property again. Really appreciative of the 'little extras' left in the fridge and food cupboard - a very nice touch.

A comfy, cosy home from home.

The Coach House is a beautifully converted apartment quietly situated but separate from the owners home. Its is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The property is kept spotlessly clean and nice toiletries are supplied as are some basic groceries including milk, bread, butter tea, coffee etc. The property is located in a very quiet residential area with excellent train and road links nearby into Stirling and Glasgow. Susan and Fergus are excellent hosts.

Perfect!

The Coach House is beautiful. It is spotless, comfortable and cosy. The bed is really comfy and the shower is amazing - lovely to come back to after a day out trekking! Everything you could possibly need is provided and the welcome pack of eggs, bread, milk etc is a lovely personal touch and was greatly appreciated. The location is spot on. A very short walk to the town centre for any additional supplies you might need, and an easy drive to the shores of Loch Lomond. Our only disappointment is that we didn't stay longer. We were sad to leave and definitely want to return. Big thank you to Susan and Fergus for helping to make our weekend away so lovely.

Wonderful!!! A must-go-and-stay!

The Coachhouse is according to very high standards of quality, taste, comfort and hospitality furbished and decorated. Everything you may possibly need, is there, including an luxurious range of 'first needs' like tea, bread, marmelade etc. The garden is beautiful and you have a lot of privacy there as well as in the Coach House. Home from home!

What a wonderful find. The Coach House was decorated to a high standard, was clean and inviting. After a long day of sightseeing, it was a pleasure to come home. Cupboards were stocked well with all the necessities, and we were even left fresh duck eggs. Fergus greeted us like old friends and was on hand for any help and information we might need. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, you will be my first port of all if we venture back.

Dream holiday

We had such a warm welcoming with everything planned for us to be easy: food (the duck eggs: yummy!), shower gel, hand and body lotion, shampoo, dish washer tablets and so on. Susan and Fergus are friendly and helpful but never intrusive, and quickly like people you have always known. The house is very well situated not far from stunning places to visit. The house is cosy and well equipped with a "like home" feeling and decorated with taste and the garden beautiful (a stream running through it). Excellent bedding and peace and quiet: it was our little nest after a busy day spent visiting lochs and castles. Thank you for a dream holiday, our best holiday abroad ever.

Relaxing stay to explore The Trossachs

The Coach House

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment in a secluded area of Helensburgh. We were made to feel very welcome and basic provisions such as tea, coffee and milk were greatly appreciated

A wonderful holiday rental

We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House. The suite has been updated with all the modern amenities and the kitchen is very well stocked. It's easily among the nicest vacation rentals we've had. The gardens behind the house were absolutely amazing. The town is quite charming with beautiful houses and spectacular garden and everything you need is within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here for your visit to Helensburgh.

I am a stay-at-home mum with two children and a dog. My husband and I converted the hayloft of the old listed Coach House building within our grounds into self catering accommodation and we love welcoming visitors to come and stay. Before life got busy with children (and animals) my husband and I travelled around the world, working while we travelled as qualified sailing instructors. On our return to the UK we worked in London for 12 years, eventually returning home to Scotland in 2013.
