Willkommen auf der Sonenalp 4, dem charmanten Chalet, das kürzlich von einem Gast als "sehr geräumig, wunderschön eingerichtet und makellos sauber" beschrieben wurde.

Eine leichte Wanderung zum Canyon Lodge (in Skischuhen !!!) Hier können Sie mit dem Lift auf den Gipfel des Berges fahren oder mit der Dorfgondel ins Dorf springen.

Es fühlt sich an wie ein Privathaus mit nur drei anderen Eigentumswohnungen im Gebäude.

Sonenalp # 4 ist fast 1900 Quadratmeter groß und wunderschön mit allen Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause ausgestattet. Der große offene Grundriss ist perfekt für Unterhaltung und Geselligkeit. Die weitläufige Küche verfügt über Arbeitsplatten aus Granit, maßgefertigte Schränke und hochwertige Geräte.

Das abgeschiedene Hauptschlafzimmer bietet Privatsphäre mit separatem Flur und Bad. Es verfügt über einen Gaskamin und einen Flachbild-TV.

Zwei weitere Schlafzimmer, eines mit einem Kingsize-Bett und eines mit Doppel-Etagenbetten, bieten Komfort für bis zu 6 zusätzliche Gäste. Ein Hotelrollo ist ebenfalls verfügbar.

Amazing place, walk to Canyon Lodge

This spot is great - we had two families stay here (4 adults, 5 kids) and the large square footage provided plenty of room to spread out. The amenities were all top notch - kitchen is fully stocked, we used the gas BBQ multiple nights, the hot tub and sauna were definitely key after a day on the slopes. Would totally stay here again!

great place and location

This was probably one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in at Mammoth. Everything was super clean, the condo is really large and the location is perfect. Mary Beth is a fantastic host and was quick to respond if we needed anything or if we had any questions. 6 stars!

Great property

Such a close walk to Canyon Lodge made it so convenient when not having to worry about parking. Plus having the garage saved our cars from getting buried in snow. Love this property. Definitely book it 👍🏼

Quiet and comfortable escape!

Beautiful property! Comfortably furnished, well-equipped kitchen, quiet, and relaxing place after a day of skiing. Easy walk to Canyon Lodge. I especially appreciated the spaciousness of the underground parking - plenty of clearance for rooftop cargo carriers. We would definitely enjoy staying here again in the future.

But we love that Sonenalp has two, reserved, oversized, 8-foot clearance, garage parking spaces for each condo, plus guest spaces. Makes a huge difference in snowy winters like the Snowpocalypse of 2017. Hope to have you stay with us again~

Fantastic place

The location is great. We were within walking distance to Canyon Lodge which was perfect for us. The garage is huge and allows you to park two cars with ease. The place was clean, spacious and comfortable. Also Mary Beth is very responsive to all questions. I will stay here again winter or summer.

Mother's Day Getaway

The property is spacious and clean with enough room to spread out and be comfortable. Our in-laws came from Northern California and met us for a wonderful weekend of skiing, snowboarding, board games and hiking. Mary Beth was very responsive. We loved our weekend!

Great launch point

Easily walkable to Canyon base area even with ski boots. Clean and spacious condo with good cooking, eating, living and sleeping spaces. Indoor parking was a huge benefit. Not near restaurants or groceries.

Fantastic base for Eastern Sierras vacation

This condo truly earns all of its 5 star reviews. Hugely spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. This condo offers a level of hotel level luxury which is quite rare in a short stay vacation home. We stayed here in a group of four adults and two children and had more then enough space. Mary Beth was super responsive with pre-check-in information and with any minor questions I had during our stay. She is easily the most responsive, helpful VRBO owner I have dealt with. This property is highly recommended - I would be delighted to return here on my next trip to this amazing part of the world.

Wonderful host

So the condo was wonderful. Walking distance from the Canyon Lodge. Well set up for 2 couples and 2 singles who love to ski. And my dog Riley. What made this place exceptional is that we arrived during the snowpocolypse (roads were closed, snowbands up to the 3rd story, power outages, etc) - and Marybeth went our her way to ensure we had the right apps to stay safe getting to Mammoth and then leaving again. I very much appreciated how much she cared.

Lovely stay at Canyon Lodge Resort

We three couples spent a very enjoyable week at Canyon Lodge Resort. Mary Beth was great to work with. Access was easy with codes to garage and doors. Views were beautiful. Condo was clean, comfortable and roomy. Kitchen was missing a few essentials we mentioned to Mary Ann - like pot holders and measuring spoons, but otherwise quite well stocked. We appreciated having the washer and dryer and supply of detergent. Condo was close to town, skiing and only a few houses from the bus stop. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful Condo!

Our party of 8 stayed for 4 nights. This place was perfect! It was spacious and comfortable. It is in a great location and is only about a 5-minute walk to Canyon Lodge. It was an easy walk with ski gear. The blue line is also a 2 minute walk that will take you to the village. The kitchen is well stocked. It had everything we needed to cook dinner every night. The hot tub and sauna were a plus after a day of skiing. The best part is you only share them with one other condo. This is a wonderful place with a wonderful host! Mary was easy to communicate with. The response time was always quick and very helpful. We will definitely be staying again!

The perfect family vacation!

We had an incredible family vacation with eight people. Upon arrival, we were able to easily unload in the garage and our kids wasted no time finding great sledding hills directly behind Sonenalp. The location is ideal…walking distance to Canyon Lodge and a free shuttle ride away from the Village! It features an open floor plan to relax and entertain in the tastefully appointed living area with a cozy fireplace. The full-size kitchen is gorgeous and fully-equipped. We enjoyed the watching the falling snow out the windows as we ate breakfast. The bathrooms and bedrooms were really nice and the beds were so comfortable and cozy! The hot tub was a wonderful and relaxing way to end a day of skiing and sledding. This was a vacation we will not forget! We will be back to Sonenalp!

Sonenalp at Canyon Lodge "Charming Chalet"

My family recently enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Mammoth that was made very special by staying at the "Charming Chalet"! The chalet is extremely comfortable and welcoming. The pictures on VRBO are very representative of the open floor plan. The living room, dining area and kitchen are inviting and allow for people to gather with great ease. Our adult children were part of our trip and, again, the floorplan with it's separation of bedrooms and bathrooms were very accommodating for all. They greatly enjoyed the hot tub and bbq on the back balcony. Appreciated being able to choose between 2 balconies to enjoy morning coffee, looking at beautiful pines and quaking aspen trees! The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and secure with enclosed parking for 2 vehicles. The "charming chalet" truly made this trip memorable for us. Our family wants to make this trip and condo an annual and maybe a semi-annual destination!
