Die Luxusvilla Alla Marginetta wurde nach höchsten Standards renoviert und verfügt über geräumige, komfortable Wohn- und Esszimmer. 12 Jahre erfolgreiche Vermietung und jedes Jahr bemühen wir uns, besser zu werden und mehr Dienstleistungen hinzuzufügen. Die große Küche verfügt über eine Inselbar zum ungezwungenen Essen und Entspannen. Die untere Ebene verfügt über eine Tavernenbar, die zum Grundstück, zur Waschmaschine und zum Wäschebereich führt. Die Villa hat einen schönen 12x6 Meter großen Pool mit Pavillon und ist komplett eingezäunt. Es gibt einen Spielbereich für Kinder. 3 Autominuten sind die schönen Dörfer San Rocco und Focchia. Weitere 5 Minuten von San Rocco entfernt liegt die malerische Stadt Pescaglia. Von Focchia aus geht es in die malerische Stadt Fabbriche di Vallico. Es gibt schöne Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe der Villa. Im Sommer ist die Villa großartig mit einem großen, geräumigen Bereich und einem privaten Pool, der zum Ausruhen und Spielen einlädt. Die Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend zum Angeln und Wandern in den Bergen oder zum Entspannen. Der Garten ist sehr geschmackvoll angelegt und bietet den Gästen absolute Privatsphäre. Very nice house in the hills of Tuscany. Property is clean, well designed, fully equipped and well maintained with large pool and really great touches for small kids (swings, sandpit). Communication with the owners/ management team was very quick and easyHouse is located in a small village - nearest large town was Lucca (45 mins drive), which is very, beautiful and historic walled city with many restaurants, shops, churches etc. Beaches are also accessible - around 1 hour for us. Having a car is a must. Overall great stay, highly recommend!

Beautiful villa in the tranquil Tuscan Hills, this place is well equipped with everything you need and more. Close to beautiful Lucca and Florence with some lovely local restaurants nearby. Local food and wine is absolutely superb. Supermarkets are not far away with plenty of space in the villa to stock up. It has a well maintained pool and gardens and the owner is helpful and friendly and just an email away from anything you need. We visited the nearby beaches too. Directions to the villa are well explained, driving can be tricky with some tight bends but the views are breathtaking. Highly recommended.

Superb holiday in wonderful illa

We decided to take another break in Pescaglia, is such a wonderful place. We love the walks and restaurants nearby. The villa itself is huge and the swimming pool is so big. It’s a great place to play, swim and relax. It is surrounded by lovely gardens, forests and grounds. Upstairs outside the kitchen there is a lovely area to eat outside with a gazebo cover. They also have the BBQ to enjoy but the best thing is a large circular open fire. As it was June and hot we only lit a couple of times But when we did we did our potatoes and after the kids cooked some Smores. We also took some day trips, first we went to Viareggio where the beach is really good fun We also went to Lucca a few times, it is a walled city with many things to see and places to eat. We then took a couple of trips to Sienna and Florence. We had a great holiday, loved the Villa and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Peaceful and beautiful property

We enjoyed staying at the property as a group of friends. It was very well equipped (e.g. the kitchen had all appliances you could possibly need, there were pool floaties and badminton sets, pool towels were provided in addition to regular towels etc.). The one down side is that some things are a bit worn out - the fence is damaged in a few places, the pool lining needs patching up, a mattress or two could use replacing, a duvet in one of the rooms was a bit moldy... However, none of those things really affected our stay a lot, since the area around and the property itself are so beautiful and peaceful, you have total privacy and have so many opportunities for all sorts of activities in and around the villa. The communication with the owner and the management company was super easy, all of our questions and issues were resolved in no time, so big props to Tamara for that! All in all, I would highly recommend staying at the villa, and we would gladly come back :)

Beautiful!

We were a family group of 8 adults and 2 toddlers and had an amazing time at this beautiful villa situated in an amazing location. The villa itself is large and spacious and the amenities are ideal - good size bedrooms, ample kitchen / dinning area, basement pool table room (although pool table has seen better days). The garden is lovely, great outdoor dinning areas with BBQ and a lovely swimming pool, plenty of pool inflatables and also x2 adult bikes and x2 childrens bikes. However one concern was that the pool was not completely fenced in, therefore a risk for the toddlers, although the owner has confirmed this is being rectified in early 2024. You'll definitely need a car as set high up in the hills with a min 10 min drive for shopping or 25 min drive for supermarkets, however there is a tiny village 10 mins walk away with a charming bar for evening drinks. All in all, a fantastic place and once the fence around the pool is addressed, it will be perfect!!

Tolles Haus, super Pool, erholsam

Grundsätzlich hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist abgelegen, etwas in der Höhe (auch wenn es sehr heiss ist, wird es abends und während der Nacht kühler). Der Pool ist gross, hat eine gute Tiefe zum Schwimmen und Baden. Es ist friedlich, man findet immer einen Schattenplatz, weitläufig und mitten in der Natur. Die Zimmer sind gut, die Betten wie die meisten in Italien. Alles ist schön gemacht und gut ausgestattet. Es war sehr sauber geputzt. Da keine Übergabe stattfand, haben wir unsere Beanstandungen sofort platziert. Leider waren einige Sachen defekt. Wir finden, es war nicht gut unterhalten. Auch nach unserer Beanstandung wurde nichts repariert. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt und wollten uns deshalb nicht die Ferien vermiesen lassen. Wir waren einige Parteien und konnten uns gut verweilen. Nach den Ferien habe ich mit den Eigentümern Kontakt aufgenommen und meine Beanstandungen platziert und auch, dass ich von der Verwaltung enttäuscht war - diese haben die Beanstandungen entgegen genommen, aber nicht gehandelt. Mit den Eigentümern sind wir immer noch in klärendem Kontakt, sie nehmen es sehr seriös und sind an unseren Erfahrungen interessiert. Der Spielplatz (Sandkasten und Schaukeln) sind gut unterhalten, tipptopp.Ich würde die Liegenschaft weiterempfehlen, wenn etwas nicht gut ist, penetrant dran bleiben und die Verwaltung zum Handeln zwingen. Resp. sofort die Eigentümer kontaktieren. Es waren aber trotzdem sehr erholsame Ferien!

Urlaub mit Familie und Kleinkindern

Die Villa ist sehr schön, aber leider überhaupt nicht gepflegt. Wir waren mit unseren Kindern und deren Familie in der Villa 7 Erwachsene und zwei Kleinkinder,ein Grund für diese Villa war für uns der Spielplatz, leider war die Rutschbahn defekt, rostig und gefährlich für Kinder, geht gar nicht. Im Inserat steht, das einmal die Woche die Bettwäsche gewechselt wird, wir haben die ganzen zwei Wochen keine Putzfrau gesehen, es hatte zuwenig Bade-Duschtücher, Putzlappen hatte es ein Stück und auch Geschirrtücher nur eins... Es hatte nicht genug Weingläser für Sieben, zuwenig Wassergläser Besteck ist zum Teil defekt. Den Grill konnte man gar nicht brauchen, er hatt unten ein durgerostetes Loch, so dass die Holzkohle durchfällt,wir haben einen neuen gekauft und dort gelassen. Auch Bratpfannen waren eine Zumutung...... Der Pool ist ganz schön, aber leider war alles schmutzig voller Blätter , die Stühle im Pavillon rostig defekt man muss aufpassen, das man sich nicht verletzt. Es lagen schmutzige Kinderspielsachen rum ein Babypool halb gefüllt mit nassen Tüchern usw. drinn, einfach gruusig...... Der unterhalt der Liegenschaft ist leider sehr schlecht, sehr schaade, es wäre eine so schöne Villa. Freundliche Grüsse Eliane Spohn

Un superbe endroit

La maison est située dans un magnifique environnement. Elle est assez grande pour un groupe de 10 personnes. Je trouvais cependant le nombre de canapé insuffisant (2 pour un total de 5 places) Il y a 5 chambres mais il faut savoir que la chambre située le plus bas est très sombre et a un problème d'humidité. Nous n'avons vu personne pour nous donner des instructions et n'avons jamais compris le système de tri des poubelles ainsi que les jours de sortie des différents types de poubelles

100% would recommend!! We had the best experience in this stunning villa.

This was our first time in this region, it is so lovely there, some of the views are breathtaking and it is great for walks. We loved this old villa, firstly it is huge and then it is set on really large piece of land. The villa has everything we needed, it is spacious with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and had a good island that we could sit around. In the evening our children played downstairs in the games room, it included a billiard table. Outside of the kitchen was a nice garden where we had a large open fire and a BBQ area. The pool was lovely and large, I was able to sit on the balcony with a coffee and keep an eye on the children playing in the swimming pool. Even though we had very hot weather the villa stayed cool enough. When a kettle broke, we contacted the manager Tamara, the next day a person came with a replacement. We found them to be helpful. We would recommend this villa.

The Tuscan holidays

A beautiful villa in Tuscan mountains. The villa is very large, it has 3 floors and is sitting by the woods and the gardens are very big .The pool is wonderful, we all had such a wonderful time there , the kids played ( there were plenty of pool toys ) while the adults could lie in the sun .The sun beds had all been replaced , plus the play area for the kids was clean and well kept . We were told by the management that the owner had just fixed or replaced everything. The villa was well stocked with glasses, plates and other kitchen items .The property and surrounding area is very quiet , and area is private.The kitchen walks out onto the upper garden, where there is a big BBQ and open fire .The open fire has stone seats around, so in the evening we would seat around the fire , it is something special. The owner was good on communication and would reply to any questions we had .We really wish we had stayed longer and intend to return again next year.

Did not live up to expectations at all!

The pictures on the VRBO page are old pictures. The house is not in good shape and has not been maintained to be called a luxury house. There were ants everywhere when we arrived including in our sons bed. There were garbage/bottles in the backyard and the general cleaning standard was very low. After contacting the owners they sent our request along to the agency that stood for the cleaning BUT nothing happens. So do not book this very expensive house and expect luxury!!!! At a lower price, more honest description/pictures and better cleaning the rating could go up but for us we give it 1/10

Stunning location and a great family experience

The property is a spacious and well equipped property, typical of the area but fully up to date. It has the space for all the family to find some privacy if they needed it and the room to all be together when we wanted also. The pool is a superb and kids equipment a god send for us. The trees and setting ensure a range of flora and fauna was on hand to surprise and delight us! Not too far into Lucca, but there are also some more local delights to explore as well atop hills and in valleys. Something for everyone. Definitely somewhere we'd come back to.

First family holiday to Tuscany!

We enjoyed a weeks holiday in the villa. The villa is large, so ideal for a big group. The location can be tricky to get to but once you are there it’s absolutely amazing! It had all the amenities you would need. We went at the end of May and the weather was a bit hit and miss but that did not ruin the holiday as there is plenty to do and see or you can just relax in the villa. The pool area is great, enough sun loungers for everyone! Overall very good! We would definitely recommend!

Fint hus i fint skick och bra standard! Inte slitet alls. Stor pool, men den är iskall. Huset ligger enskilt i en dal, vilket har både för och nackdelar. Begränsad morgon och eftermiddagssol. Vi hyrde in kocken Morena till huset två kvällar, vilket var mycket bra! God mat i mängder! Det negativa var att huset var dåligt städat och alla leksaker och cyklar var trasiga.

Outstanding Property

This charming villa and the beautiful surrounding area do not disappoint. From relaxing by the huge pool, walking to the little market nearby, or sitting by the firepit in the evening, this is a perfect holiday property. The villa is well maintained with all the quality amenities one could desire. The location offers the opportunity to just relax or drive to one of the nearby charming villages or towns. We would highly recommend for couples or families and would not hesitate to return.

Tremendous. Unique. Beautiful.

Wonderful location up in the mountains of Tuscany. The decor and furniture of the villa are impressive and the swimming pool is a great additional option. An extremely well maintained property in a location with wonderful scenery and pleasing views. I will definitely recommend to this villa to others. The owner provides a tremendous amount of local information to help planning enjoyment in the area.

Beautiful, well maintained property in a forest setting

My family of 9 spent a week at the Villa exploring the area. We took day trips to Lucca, Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre just to mention a few. The Villa is set in a remote location; although there were very good restaurants near by. The Villa comes completely stocked with all the kitchen appliances you need along with all the basics. The swimming pool is beautiful and made for a nice escape after a long day of touring. We took advantage of the personal chef and she prepared an absolute Italian feast our last night in the Villa. Nights were cool and pleasant and the Villa is large and accommodated our group of 9 easily. All in all we loved our stay at the Villa Marginetta and would highly recommend it to you. Beautiful Tuscany!

Stayed at the gorgeous Villa Alla Marginetta for a week with my wife and family (8 people in total). Visited many lovely villages and towns (Lucca is a must) but spent a lot of time at the poolside too. On our second evening at the villa we took up the option to have a chef prepare dinner for us all. The lovely Morena treated us to a fantastic meal! We were still eating it the following evening!! We all had a fantastic holiday in beautiful Tuscany and will return again in the future without doubt. One small point for future reference. As we arrived late and in the dark, we found the villa difficult to find and the entrance would benefit from having a more obvious sign post on the road side. Francis Smith Edinburgh

Paradise in idyllic setting with pure luxury

The villa is so beautiful and authentic and has everything you would need. The pool water is so clear and is spring water so it is unbelievable refreshing. The location is in between two little villages which are very quant. There is an amazing walk not far from the villa to the village on the hill and another walk down to the river. When I was lying out looking at the blue sky I could hear the river and the birds. Fab! There is a fab place where we ate at the pool under the Gazebo. At night we lit a fire and cooked smores at the stone fire. Love the Villa, love the place. Will definitely be back!

From the very first moment we have loved Italy and especially Tuscany. We stay at our villa 3 or 4 times a year. About 13 years ago an old ruins came up for sale on 7 acres. It was such a private place yet close to so many villages and amenities. It was obvious that it would be a massive project which would take a lot of time, money and careful planning but best of all many trips. We are forever indebted to our friend Gina, without her love & care for Alla Marginetta this dream would not be reality. It took a good 2 years to finish Alla Marginetta. We live between my wife’s home of Moscow and my home town of Dublin, Miami and of course Pescaglia. I'm an amputee so the heat of Miami & San Rocco really help me, plus the bonus of such a wonderful oasis.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We have come to Italy on so many holidays and in the last 20 years always seem to gravitate to Pescaglia. Alla Marginetta was our first attempt at building a home away from home. Alla Marginetta has been a real project of love and care, we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. We picked the area as we particularly liked Lucca and Pescaglia as it is not overrun by tourists as other parts can be and the locals are very friendly. Also, the weather is really good, it is hot but not too hot. When we stay we have so much to see and do while not driving too far, plus when we want silence this is the best place to hideaway.

Alla Marginetta is hidden away and the closeness to nature is magical. You are nestled in the forest and sitting in the garden you can hear the flow of the river below, it is so soothing. For people with young Children you can always see them in the play area while older children can walk the hills and mountains. There is a walking track that passes the Villa which even the locals like to walk. Fishing is just below if you wish. Within a few minutes you have two little villages and then just past them are the towns of Fabbriche di Vallico and Pescaglia plus more. Within about 1 hour is Massa, Viageggio and Pisa for great days out. Florence is also a great day (or 2) out. For those wishing to go to Florence, Sienna, Rome or Milan are still reachable to both, we go all the time.
