Very relaxing holiday - lovely apartment in great location

Another fab holiday in this lovely apartment - great location, great pool, lovely to meet Sonya in the apartment above-very helpful. Plenty of restaurants 15 min walk downhill and great bus service to Kyrenia-plenty of beach and pool bars , our favourite being LA Beach. Will be back again next year hopefully!!

schönes Apartment mit fantastischem Pool im Garten

Schönes Apartment, wie auf den Fotos gezeigt. Viel Platz und eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Toller Pool hinter dem Haus mit Liegen/Hollywoodschaukel und Poolequipment. Sehr nette Vermieterin, Parkplatz auf dem Gelände, Klimaanlage vorhanden.

I would love to say dont go then it would always be free for me,!!!@But i cant i love going hear its nice to have a pool all to yourself no one nicking the sun beds. Everything you need is there clean tidy . A shop just a few min walk away . Cyprus Avtive is s must for your boat and jeep trips. Lots of nice places to eat my favorate is Silver rocks and Calamri

Fantastic

We have just come to the end of a 3 week stay at this villa and as always it has been amazing. Nothing is to much trouble and villa is always spotless clean on our arrival. Pool area is gorgeous and being up in the village of Lapta is amazing as you see first hand the way of life over here. I highly recommend this villa and have already booked for our 2 holidays next year. Thank you so much, we love it

This is our second stay here and we absolutely loved it. The pool is amazing and the villa has everything your need. Unfortunately it is booked for when we want to come back next year but we would definitely return again,

Great Apartment - Great pool and garden

The apartment has 2 big bedrooms, 2 modern shower rooms, a large lounge and a large kitchen. All are of a high standard. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The pool is large for a private pool and again was really clean and a great temperature. There are views of the mountains behind from the garden and lots of colourful flowers. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away and a good local restaurant within 10 minutes walk. The surrounding village is not pretty but people were kind and helpful. Please do not let the previous negative review put you off. The appartment is worth 5 stars. There was easy contact with the manager/owner who was very helpful. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I thought the location would be a bit more rural. There are excellent walking maps available from the tourist information office in Kyrenia (and may be locally). We did a great circular mountain hike from Karamen (Karmi)to St Hilarion Castle. Karamen is about 20 minutes away by car.

There are a couple of fantastic walks through the forests on the mountainside just above the villa ( beyond the Hilltop Restaurant) though not recommended in July or August unless completed before about 9am because of the intense heat after this time. Fantastic and relaxing

Another fantastic stay at this villa, we love it. Villa is clean and tidy with everything you may need. Pool and gardens are gorgeous, plenty of sunbeds, cushions and umbrellas. Pool towels as well as bathroom towels provided, hairdryer, DVD player and many more items that just make your holiday easier. Going back in Sept for our 3rd visit, highly recommended. copy of letter to be passed onto Jazzbright. We are Claire and Kevin Walsh having just returned from your apartment in Cyprus. Our stay was very disappointing to say the least and we believe we are entitled to a substantial if not complete refund. On our arrival we were met by a drive overgrown with weeds as much as 2 feet high (‘photo attached), some of which we removed ourselves, the awning over the car port was in shreds (‘photo attached), parts hanging down to floor level, in one corner under the shredded awning was a large pile of dead branches from which a two metre black snake emerged at great speed on day two, at this point we seriously considered moving out. There was also a number of chewed meat bones stripped clean around the pool. The apartment once we had negotiated a very stuck front door was both cold, damp and musty, it occurred to us that the apartment had been locked up for the winter and needed a good airing, we were also disappointed to find no welcome pack as other reviews had, not even WATER and as we arrived at one a.m. this was quite serious. The following day we tried to air the apartment but found a lot of the shutter catches rusted in position so we were very limited in this respect, we counted 12 shutters that we could not open, when Sonya arrived we pointed out the rusted shutter bolts and she said it would be seen to, but not till after we had left. Your details on home/away mentioned cleaning and maid service, although the apartment was quite clean on arrival we did not see a cleaner (my wife had to clean the apartment herself) and we had to change our own bed sheets, we have been renting self catering apartments since 1985 and this is the first time we have had to do this. The main attraction of the apartment was the pool, it was obvious from the start that the filtration system was not working, we were loathed to use the pool for health reasons, Sonia arranged to have the pool maintenance man see to it but by the time it was fixed we had just three days of our two week holiday left, and even then we were not convinced all was well, we spent hours by the pool without seeing the filters activate and the water level continued to fall. The lack of hot water was a continual problem, Mr Olgun said run the hot water for between five and ten minutes, this seemed a ridiculous thing to do in this day and age, we had no other choice than to use the immersion heater. Gorgeous and tranquil

Stayed at this fantastic apartment from 07/09/17 to 23/09/17 and we had a great holiday. On arrival apartment was spotless and a small welcome pack in the fridge was very much appreciated. The pool and patio area are brilliant with plenty of sun beds , cushions and umbrellas. We had exclusive use of the pool and enjoyed plenty of early morning swims. Plenty of bedding to change the beds if required and pool towels as well as bathroom towels. It is situated up in the village of Lapta so a car is essential but there is a supermarket 300 yards down the road which has most things. Great apartment and great holiday,.

Hi Jo It was great having you stay and glad to hear that you made full use of the pool ! It is a good idea to hire car if you want to go further afield. However, we have had a few good adventures using the local shared taxis ( dolmus) which leave from just outside the supermarket and go to Kyrenia along the coastal road. You can ask them to stop at any of the beaches along the route into Kyrenia. See you again next year.

Wonderful apartment with amazing pool.

We have just arrived home after two weeks at this lovely apartment. The apartment has everything you need. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room and well equipped kitchen. The pool is amazing so quiet and relaxing. Near to shops and cafes. Would definitely recommend and we hope to stay again next year.

Once we found the Villa!

The Villa exceeded all our expectations. The property was clean with an amazing pool that we had all to ourselves. We chose the right time of year for our holiday, restaurants were all very good, could not single out any particular but visited at least 10 different ones during our stay. We found the area ideal for us being a little distance away from the bustling tourist area of Bellaplaise. We did have a big problem finding the place, the taxi company took us to a different Villa! We did have the address but that address was 1/2 a mile away from the property and in a road full of restaurants and bars! We had a code number and an aerial view which was of very little us. In the end the driver had to get help from the local police. It took over 3 hours to travel what should have been 90 mins, the taxi driver was amazingingly helpful and patient. We hired a car which was a must for us as we wanted to explore the area.

Relaxed

Arrived after a delayed flight to a nice bottle of cold water in the fridge just what i need a nice cup of tea,The villa was big two nice big bedrooms large lounge and kitchen everything that you needed .Its all on ground level suitable for wheelchair as long as you can manage a few steps up to the pool and the drive has a bit of a hill which you can go up in the car Sonya the owner was in the upstairs part of the villa for 3 days she was lovely and was very helpful . The pool was an extra bonus cleaned twice a week with sun loungers.shops are just a few minuets walk we had a car which i think is a must. Olgan came to water the garden twice a day he is also very nice i enjoyed our beer at 5 as it got a bit cooler . If i would suggest one thing it would be to have a bell half way up the drive for visitors to ring so you know someone is coming to save embarrassment when sun bathing . I am definitely going back if not later in the year next . so thank you for a lovely Birthday by the pool and a relaxing holiday . Mandy and Nicole

Fabulous holiday place

We've stayed in Alsancak before but thought we might try somewhere different. The booking process was very easy and the information we received over the internet was great with easy to follow directions. The pool is amazing with the mountain backdrop adding to the tranquility. There was only one bathroom which was not a problem but it sounds like there are plans to add an en-suite which will be great. The rooms were comfy and spacious and the drive to the beach in Lapta only took 4 minutes. We did spend alot of time by the pool though! Have booked to come back next year.
