Regarding the points that were mentioned in the review. There are two bedrooms in the apartment, the main bedroom has a Juliet balcony with large sliding patio doors and overlooks the pool. The second bedroom has a double sliding opening window with a roller blackout blind to be used as needed. This window brings adequate natural light into the room. Regarding the air conditioning. This is a brand new system installed in October 2021 and other visitors have commented on how well it works. As with all air conditioning systems, the temperature on the unit has to be set lower than the room temperature, otherwise the unit will reach the room temperature quickly and then turn off. Also windows have to be closed as the room sensors will detect if they are open and automatically turn the system off. Most systems operate like this.

You will see from previous reviews, we have never had a bad review in over 20 years of renting out our holiday home. We will address the two relevant issues: Regarding the keys, our agent met the guests on arrival at the apartment with the keys at no cost or inconvenience to them. The original keys were posted in good time by the reliable International tracked and signed service. As the guest wasn’t available to sign for the keys, the courier left a card to enable collection from the local delivery office. The guest was unable to collect the keys, so we arranged for our agent to meet them and so there wasn’t an issue. The bedroom shutter was in full working order when the guests arrived, as confirmed by our agent. In addition, there are blackout curtains fitted making the room pitch black. When the guest checked-out, our agent reported to us that the shutter chord had been snapped, making the shutter inoperable. The shutter was now permanently down and the room was in total darkness. It couldn’t have been any darker. We’re really sorry this lady had a negative experience. We have many returning customers because we always try our very best to go above and beyond to please our guests.

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed, but fortunately most of our guests have a good experience and return for future holidays. We renew items on a cyclical basis. The mattresses and pillows have protectors on, and are changed on a regular basis. The cleaners have checked the bedding and have confirmed that there are no stains whatsoever. The duvets are brand new as they were purchased for your stay. Regarding the coffee maker, we didn't have that facility advertised at the time, and we did reimburse you. At no point during your stay did you complain, even when I sent you a message to ask if everything was okay. I am surprised
