10 day stay

The property was wonderful for our family vacation of 11 adults. The house is very well layed out and provides plenty of room for a large group. The kitchen is well equipped and with the barbecue in the yard allows to cook your own meals. The yard is beautifully designed and offers many different spots to relax. The fireplace is a great place for evening chats. Leona is a pleasure to work with and made check in and check out very easy. Plenty to explore in the area with short trips. We enjoyed our stay very much and will choose this property again if we can make another trip.

Perfect Home for a Family Trip

We had the most wonderful time at Leona’s house! This is really the property to book if you have lots of people, especially kids, and want to be comfortable and entertained while staying in a slightly more rural area. It was wonderful from a comfort perspective - there were lots of bathrooms and air conditioning in all but one bedroom (and with heat becoming more and more of a problem this is really, unfortunately often a necessity in summer). And then it had all the little items you could ask for that are often missing from rental houses - tons of plates/cutlery, stuff to cook with, extra shampoo/toiletries, pool toys, games for kids etc. The house is really stocked which makes arrival a breeze and allows you to replace things as needed. The other main thing is that the exterior parts of the house are like a children’s dream that also manages to cater to adults. Our kids were running between the pool, tree house, swing set, trampoline, zip line and ping pong table while the adults sat on the upstairs porch, the downstairs porch, fire pit and poolside chairs. For groups it just could not be more comfortable and fun. Leona and her family were so wonderful to deal with, answering the littlest questions and making sure to be responsive with any requests. They leave a really comprehensive book for arrival (not just Wi-Fi and instructions but also local restaurants, markets, rainy day activities, emergency things etc) but then are open to helping. From having two cribs and high chairs for our kids on arrival to sharing where the stash of umbrellas are for a rainy day it felt very special to have them care so much that we enjoyed our stay. And the area is wonderful, if you are looking to be out of the hustle and bustle but near to tons of places to visit. You’re within 10 minutes of lovely towns like Valbonne and Grasse and an easy 20-40 minute drive to bigger sites like Nice, St Paul de Vence, Antibes and Cannes, as well as the beach . But it was a perfect jumping off point to enjoy the various nearby towns in the morning and then hung out at the house with the kids in the afternoon, then grilled most nights on the wonderful outdoor grill. We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. If you have a big group with kids you absolutely cannot go wrong with this lovely house

Exactly what we hoped!

This home is amazing. It looks even better than the pictures and was perfect for a big group. There are plenty of bathrooms and the kitchen is huge. The yard is beautiful. The A/C works well. I hope we’re able to come back!

Magnifique maison et bien entretenue

Nous étions 12 personnes dont 2 ados et 2 enfants (5et2), pour des vacances en famille. La maison a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de belles vacances. Elle a suffisamment de chambres et de salles de bain. Une grande cuisine toute équipée et une énorme table pour les repas en famille. Toutes les piÚces sont climatisées! Les extérieurs sont grands et trÚs bien entretenus, la piscine est grande. Il y a suffisamment de transats pour toute la famille. Bref, nous avons passé un trÚs bon séjour dans cette maison. A recommander.

Magnifique séjour !

La propriĂ©tĂ© est unique , trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e
 et avec une vue fantastique. Nous y avons passĂ© un moment d’exception. Additionally , the owner Leona is a wonderful host. She is very helpful , professional .. and super friendly. “The touch of class”. Nous Ă©tions en famille avec deux petits enfants 
 tout le monde est unanime pour affirmer que nous y avons passĂ© des vacances superbes !

Homely villa with fantastic views

A very well equipped property with fantastic views in a rural but convenient location for local shops and visiting other towns/villages. Great for all ages especially for families with children, there is plenty of land to explore with a trampoline, swing/slide and tree house. The bedroom without AC and the bathroom were dated but were clean and served the purpose (downstairs) also one room upstairs didn't have a wardrobe or drawers so had to hang clothes on a clothes rail on the landing. The TV didn't work but we managed with the projector screen provided and one of our laptops. We would definitely go back again with family or friends.

Great house for kids and adults

This is a really lovely house! Alex the housekeeper (who lives on site) is a star. She was unobtrusive but very helpful. She is argentinian and speaks great english and couldn't had been more helpful. She keeps the house very well and did an initial supermarket shop for us, extra cleaning, as well as babysitting and some taxi-ing. The house is well equipped: the wifi mostly worked (although has the longest code i've ever seen!) the kitchen had everything we needed - even sharp knives and tupperware (unusual in rentals). There's a good BBQ. Five of the bedrooms have air-con and the double beds were all comfortable - 2 of them are kingsize/6 ft. The upstairs bathrooms are more modern than those downstairs (whose toilet cisterns are pretty dodgy
) but all showers were good. There isn't an obvious master (only one double bedroom is ensuite) but that suited us - no unfairness! The real attraction for the seven children in our group (aged 4-8yrs) was the garden - we barely saw the kids all day: they spent all their time playing football on the pitch, riding the zip-wire, playing in the tree house, jumping on the trampoline or splashing around in the pool. The pool is right next to the house so you can keep an eye on it from the main terrace easily. You can't see the zip line or trampoline from there but you can hear them. And when they'd had enough sun there are comfortable sofas to flop on and watch the big satellite TV. The lay-out of the open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining terrace is very sociable because they all flow off each other leading out to the lovely views of Grasse. Great local restaurants too. We will be back!

Best vacation ever

We had such a great time. The house is wonderful, very comfortable and feels like home away from home. The outdoor area is very spacious and the views are amazing. The kids loved the pool, tree house, trampoline and now they even have a zip-line. We are definitly going back as soon as possible!
