Die Wohnung bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen, mit 2 Badezimmern (1 en-suite), eine große Küche / Esszimmer, eine Empfangshalle und Lounge, und Balkone, von denen der größte teilweise Meerblick hat. Dieses helle und luftige Apartment auf der 3. Etage verfügt über 5 Balkone, die zu verschiedenen Tageszeiten das ganze Jahr über von der Sonne beschienen werden, so dass es immer einen komfortablen und kühlenden Rückzugsort zum ganzjährigen Sonnenschein gibt, sollte es nötig sein. Lots of space for a decent price

A wonderful stay, in the middle of our favourite restaurants and near the Madeira Divepoint, my husband loves to use.Big apartement exactly like the pictures. Very clean and tasteful. With a dated but well equiped kitchen. Sarah was very flexibel and arranged an easy airport transfair for us. Great value for money - espacially for the part of town.

We had a super break in a well situated apartment. Plenty of amenities locally and an easy (10-15) walk in to central Funchal. We loved the balconies around the apartment that enabled sitting in the sun at any time of the day. There was plenty of room for 5 of us (adults) and comfortable bedrooms. Would definitely stay again.

It is highly recommended to spend your vacation in this holiday apartment. There are many bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a living room. We felt very comfortable there. Sarah is very kind; she allowed us to check in earlier and check out later. She also booked a taxi for us. The location is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby, and it is not far from the old town.

A short walk to most things, or a quick bus ride to the rest.

We are a self catering couple who like to cook at home, go out for good coffee and hike in nature. Fuchal gave us a great base for all of this. Lovely condo, the kitchen is functional with everything you need to cook at home, and when they renovate later this year that will be the final touch on this lovely condo.

Madeira Portugal Visit

We had a very nice visit to Madeira. This Condo was a very nice place. The kitchen was in needing work (cabinets hinges were bad and the dryer door needs fixed). But that did not stop us from having a wonderful time. Sarah was alway there to answer all my questions and she helped with getting us a taxi to and from the Airport. Great apartment close to the city centre

The apartment was just perfect for us. It is situated in a lively but not too loud part of the city and has everything you need close by (supermarket, bakery). It was very clean and our host was always very helpful, when we had a question. The lack of a private parking lot was not an issue, since there are enough public ones nearby, some even without costs. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, especially the (rather old) kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend Madeira and this apartment.

Excellent - everything perfect

Sarah was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend this property to anyone thinking of visiting Madeira. It is perfectly placed for visiting Funchal central 15 min walk), or alternatively the Hotel district, where there are lots of lovely restaurants. Also a short taxi ride to Doco Do Cavacas, where we had swim in rock pools and had a lovely day. Also Worth walking up past the cable cars and there are lots of little side streets and Squares to spen a lovely evening enjoying. The apartment had everything you need and has balconies (5) that get the sun all day. A lovely place - thanks Sarah

Funchal Apartment

Apartment was very nice in great central location walking distance to old town and lots of restaurants. The main shower did not work and we had to all use the ensuite to shower which was inconvenient and was only provided with one towel each for 9 days and the dryer was not operational so we could not do laundry. Also there is a camera in the front hallway monitoring the door of the apartment which made us a little uncomfortable but other that the apartment was nice and we enjoyed our stay

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We're pleased that you enjoyed the location of the apartment. You only reported the broken shower on the 4th day of your visit and I promptly arranged for a plumber to visit to remedy the fault, but as you as refused to allow the plumber in to visit, I was unable to resolve the fault for you. There is a walk in shower (with Hydro power) in the ensuite bathroom, as well as a bath and a hand shower in the main bathroom which I assume you found adequate down to the delay reporting the fault to me. All guests are provided with a set of towels consisting of a bath towel and a hand towel so i'm unsure as to why you mention only having 1 towel each? On top of the set of personal towels for guests, we also have beach towels and bathroom mats in both bathrooms. You did request 2 more hand towels when you arrived which I arranged for the cleaners to visit to provide these for you. The dryer is working and I explained to you how to operate it. If you were still unable to make use of it, you need to let me know. As with the shower fault, if I'm unaware of a fault I cannot do anything to remedy it. During your stay, you did complain of lack of loo roll for your entire 8 day stay, no washing detergent, no wine and fruit on arrival as well as change a change of towels etc despite having a washing machine & dryer for the purposes of laundry, so I can only assume you thought you were booking either a hotel or serviced apartment where you have staff on hand to supply toiletries, drinks etc None of which is advertised on our listing.

Nice Apartment, Great Area

The apartment is in a great area of Funchal, easy walk to the downtown, there are plenty of good restaurants in the immediate area and a friendly convenience store at the top of the road. We enjoyed our walks to Downtown, the Lido and Madeira Forum but there are buses available nearby. We did have one or two maintenance hiccups whilst we were there but the Owner was easy to contact, made steps to rectify the issues and very receptive of any suggestions that we made. The apartment is obviously well-loved and the Owner is making improvements all the time. It has a good feel to it and we enjoyed our time there. I’m intending to return next year.
