I am so pleased to hear that Kenneth and his guests loved Casa Cappella as much as we do. He has described it exactly as we see it and we are very happy to have shared it with them. I am glad he appreciated the size of the pool as that size was at my insistence. It's a real grown up pool with a shallow end with graduated steps for little ones and a deep end with a diving board for the more able and adventurous swimmers. Great description of Casa Cappella! It is in a truly remarkable setting and guests do tend to choose to spend most of their time by the pool eating, drinking and relaxing. Lovely to hear that our guests have had such a great experience and that they would happily recommend Casa Cappella to anyone.

Casa Cappella is. as described by Cath, a very peaceful and tranquil place but with easy access to all the places that are a must for visits when you are in Tuscany. Being available to guests for any questions they may have before their stay and at any time during their holiday is, in my opinion, an important role as a host. Also we are lucky to have Cristina, as our local contact, who can help out practically when needed.

A very belated thank you for such a positive review. Casa Cappella is indeed a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives and well worth the drive up the mountains to enjoy the incredible views from the villa and from the terrace.

I am so pleased that Lucy and her family had a great time at Casa Cappella. I am always delighted to hear from guests and glad that they appreciated having the inflatables provided. Fortunately the fabulous view can be seen from most locations in and around the villa but as Lucy rightly noted the terrace is a more enclosed area that comes into its own in the evenings. Lights on, Prosecco popped and some delicious italian food plus the view of the pool make it quite enchanting. I do provide detailed directions including photo views along the route and this usually makes the villa fairly easy to locate. I can think of nothing worse at the end of a long journey than having difficulty locating your destination! And the Esselunga supermarket is excellent.

I am always happy to hear that guests have enjoyed their stay at Casa Cappella. Thank you to Kara and her family. Arriving at Casa Cappella the view is the perfect reward after travelling. It has many different presentations. One of my favourites is the night view with the moon in the sky and all the lights in the valley twinkling below me. The large pool is always welcoming - especially great to come back to after a day out sight seeing. I consider it important as a host to make myself easily contactable for guests as any problems that arise can usually be resolved between myself and Cristina the housekeeper who lives nearby. We are in regular contact with each other throughout the rental season. Thank you to Kara for letting let us know that they were going to be late.

The location of Casa Cappella is stunning with views that are far reaching and frequently admired. To ensure there are no problems with arriving at the property we send out detailed directions with the Guest Information Pack by Email which is received by guests a number of weeks before their departures. Photos of the advised route are included as well as detailed written directions. I am sorry that the guests appear not to have followed these directions on their first arrival but fortunately they discovered them later for themselves! I am glad to hear that they explored much of the surrounding areas but also enjoyed Casa Cappella as somewhere to spend time relaxing.

I was pleased that Andreas found the check in to be easy and that I had been helpful with information before their family vacation. The kitchen is well equipped as I enjoy cooking and try to make sure that everything that is needed is provided. Casa Cappella is a villa with historic origins that has been modernised without losing the character of a Tuscan country home.

It is indeed a lovely peaceful place where you can feel fully relaxed in a completely secluded setting. On arriving at Casa Cappella you really appreciate that the location and setting of the villa make it quite unique. It sounds as though you had a great time and found Casa Cappella to be well placed for visits to nearby places, close enough to the mountains for hiking and also for a visit to the beach. Fortunately the winding road up to the house leads to an amazing panoramic view across the Piano di Lucca and beyond!

This was a great way to describe Casa Cappella as the location is amazing and it is great to know that guests who have stayed here felt at home. This is certainly one of my aims and to know that it is being successful is very satisfying. I always make myself available for when guests have questions or if they need help with anything. I am pleased that this is appreciated and in response I would say that Peter, his family and friends were great guests and I am happy to recommend them to other owners.
