Wonderful stay

The villa was great for 14 of us, with lots of space and great outdoor facilities. We had a great stay and the host was very responsive with messages before we arrived. would certainly recommend.

Lovely week in Sao Lourenço Almancil

Nathalia and family were superb hosts and the family had a great week at their property. Tons to do in the villa for all of the kids and adults alike and wouldn’t hesitate to book for another week with all of the family.

The villa is beautiful, everything you can possibly need on a holiday, short uba ride to nearest beauty spots, personal chef on the doorstep which was fantastic, best holiday ever, will definitely be back soon 😀.

Fantastic villa for family and friends holiday

Villa was conveniently located near Almancil which was only 2 minutes drive to there or 5 minutes drive to Apolonia supermarket. All the bedrooms were clean and spacious. We found this venue to be ideal for our needs and everyone had a great time. The kitchen, gas barbecue and paella enabled us to cook a few tasty meals for all of us to enjoy in the sunshine. Overall was a memorable stay and would recommend this villa!

Great villa!

We had a wonderful week here. 3 families - 6 adults and 6 children (range 4 years old to 15) had plenty of space. The pool is a great size and there are some lovely outdoor spaces to run around / relax in the sun or shade. The kids loved the games room (pool, table tennis, air hockey). Great location for getting out and about too - short drive to vilamoura and various beaches. Would really recommend this lovely villa and hope to return!

Perfect for a family stay with different age groups. Play room for younger children. (We did arrange for a pool fence to be installed during stay which was done efficiently before we arrived). Outside area for eating and cooking well set up. Large games room great for all.

This is not only a false review but categorically untrue. The photographs demonstrate the property accurately. This customer was the worst guest we have ever had at the property. Not only did he pay very late, he failed to provide the check in details for all the guests staying there, and the guests left the property door wide open and unsecure with the aircon running. His communication was poor and unresponsive, and made no mention of the property not looking like the photos whilst at the property (funnily enough), or any evidence provided to support his assertions. We, conversely, responded promptly to any questions he or other guests had. One only needs to look at the rest of the reviews to see that there has never been a complaint about the property, to see that this review is vindictive.

Great base for exploring

Nathalia is a fantastic host, communication was fantastic and ease of everything made it a very stress free rental. The farm house is full of rustic charm, superbly equipped and big enough for 16 of us to not get under one anothers feet! Great location for exploring the golden triangle, everything is within 10-15 minutes drive away which makes it so easy. The little church down the road is worth a wonder down to as well as the cafe on the corner for their pastries. Overall a wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Escape to Paradise

We booked this location for our 20 year anniversary. We had friends and family come from across Europe and the U.S. Upon entering, we were immediately surprised at how large the area was. There were some initial hiccups of trying to find everything in a new house, but after some quick calls with Nathalia, we were right at home. The Villa had everything we needed and most everyone stayed at the Villa for the entire stay. We will definitely book again, next time we are back in the area. Thank your for making our special day so wonderful.

One of our best holidays ever & accommodation was beyond stunning

We could tell from the photos the accommodation was beautiful, but it quite simply surpassed our expectations. On arrival. There was 15 of us - adults and older children. There was so much space that you could as spend as much time together as you wanted to, or escape to one of the many seating areas/rooms. We simply loved this villa & would return in a heart beat. The accommodation is luxurious, spotless & everything was faultless. Having our own pool was amazing and we made full use of this day & night. The penthouse room is simply ‘wow’. The location was perfect for us & we used numerous ubers to go the different locations. Nathalia was a pleasure to deal with & answered any questions quickly & was extremely helpful in making sure everything for the holidays went smoothly. As many other reviewers have mentioned, there is a wonderful restaurant in front of the villa, that we ate at on a couple of occasions - food great and they were so welcoming. To sum it up, my son said it was his most favourite holiday ever! Everyone of us loved it & hopefully one day we will be lucky enough to return. What an amazing Villa we had the pleasure of booking and staying in, happy memories for all of us.

An AMAZING Family Villa with the WOW Factor!!

We have just returned from a very relaxing Family Holiday at this Beautiful Villa. We go away every February half term as a full family, 17 in total. This is by far the best property we have visited and catered for everyone from as young as 4 up to 60! We still felt like we had plenty of room and our own space due to the different areas in the property. We did spend the majority of the time in the garden which is idyllic and very relaxing. We were unable to use the pool heating due to low temperatures but this did not effect us. The little ones still occasionally braved it and spent hours playing football and games in the large enclosed garden. While the men kept themselves entertained in the games room, and the teenagers were happy with the Wifi! The Villa itself is so well equipped and there was nothing that we felt that was not there. The property was immaculate on arrival and I was surprised to find the housekeeper also came midweek for a mid week clean which was very much appreciated! All the bedrooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and clean. Location wise was perfect. A lovely restaurant right next door with traditional home cooked food. We ate here twice and the owner Lil is so welcoming and can not do enough for you. We did hire a car as we travel to Portugal usually twice a year so like to have a drive around to our favourite places such as Vilamoura and Old Town Albufeira. A car is not a necessity though as there are nearby supermarkets within walking distance. As for our host Nathalia I could not have asked for anything more. I asked her many questions in the months leading up to our holiday which she promptly answered. We had a couple of very minor issues on arrival which Nathalia sorted immediately. Lovely, helpful host! I would definitely recommend this property and hopefully one day return! Thanks again for an amazing, memory filled holiday!!

Große Gruppe mit Kindern und Erwachsenen. Ein super erholsamer und sonniger Urlaub im perfekten Haus

Wir waren sehr sehr begeistert vom Haus, der Ausstattung und der Region. Von Pool, Strand, Meer, Bootstour, Shopping, lecker Essen oder einfach relaxen am Haus war alles dabei. Gemeinsam kochen, Parties feiern oder einfach mal in Ruhe ein Buch lesen - all das war Problemlos möglich. Für uns (7 Kinder und 14 Erwachsene) war einfach alles perfekt. Wer etwas praktmatisch ist und sich nicht an Kleinigkeiten hochzieht, der kann hier ein super Haus mit Pool für viele Personen anmieten. 5Sterne von der Reisgruppe "Häßlich" 😎

Magnifique séjour dans cette villa pour notre mariage. 21 adultes et 5 enfants la maison est très bien équipé pour les adultes et les enfants cuisine spacieuse chambre confortable salle de jeux au top pour les enfants. Great for large family

The villa was wonderful and catered for all 21 of us ranging from babies to children and adults. It was spacious and comfortable, the pool was a good size and was heated. Great communication with Nathalia. We used Quinta Chef (next door to villa) for our anniversary meal and I would highly recommend them.

Fabulous Villa

We recently stayed at Church Farmhouse and had the most wonderful holiday. The villa was fantastic in so many ways. In summary: Pros Extremely spacious with more than enough room to accommodate 4 families both inside and outside of the villa. High specifications for all the rooms and it was fully equipped with everything we needed, even a playroom with toys in for the children. The pool was an excellent size and very clean. We needed the pool heating when we went in April so that helped throughout our stay. There were also lots of inflatables to keep the children entertained in the pool as well. The sunset bar was fantastic. A real social area that both the adults and children loved. We spent most evenings there eating and drinking, Quiet location. Nathalia the host was extremely helpful when we had any issues/questions, and was very prompt when returning messages. Cons The only drawback of the villa and it is only a minor point, but you do need to get taxis everywhere, (We knew that when we booked). Though the cost of an Uber was only 8-10 Euros into Vilamoura so it wasn’t expensive at all. Overall we had a fabulous time and we will absolutely be returning to Church Farmhouse in the future.

Great week away

We had a wonderful week at Church Farmhouse with plenty of room for 14 adults and 2 children. The facilities were fantastic; we particularly enjoyed the Sunset Bar! The Solar restaurant was delicious for dinner and very easily coped with the large group. Nathalia and Paul were both very easy to contact and quick to help out, a great experience all round!

Excellent holiday

We had the most wonderful stay at church farmhouse. We were a group made up of 3 families with 7 adults and 4 children. The villa was spacious and the pool area was great. The kitchen is well equipped with all baby and children equipment and the cots and high chairs were in great condition. Our children all enjoyed the tv room. The pool was lovely and warm(we had it heated) and there were lots of inflatables to use. We visited Solar do Poeta which is the restaurant in front of the villa. Would recommend for a nice meal. We used uber taxis to take us to the supermarket - Pingo Dulce (5 min drive). This had everything we needed to stock up for our stay. We also got taxis to Val do Lobo and spent some time at the beach. About a 10 min drive. Overall a wonderful holiday and we would highly recommend church farmhouse.

A Fantastic Villa for a very large family.

We have just returned from a fantastic week in Church Farmhouse and what a beautiful place it is. We were an extended family of 19 people (12 adults, 3 teens and 4 kids) The house was equipped with everything we needed. The pool, games room and TV room to keep all the kids entertained. There was travel cots, bottle sterilisers, strollers and stair gates in the house, all the things you would never think of. This is an amazing property and was so relaxing because there was so much space for us all. We all can’t wait to go back again. Thanks for everything.

Highly recommend

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Church Farmhouse. A three generation family, and we all loved it, the villa plus apartment being big enough for us all to have our own space as families, and to be together. It’s well equipped internally and externally, from wifi to barbecue to bars to the heated swimming pool, and the jewel in the crown is the ‘fairytale' penthouse master bedroom which overlooks the pool and the grounds, with access to the roof terrace, a stand-alone bathtub, settees and dressing tables. Ideal for a wedding party! or for oldies like us!

Our names are Paul and Nathalia Cross and we have and three daughter's, Alex, Pip and Chloe.We both work full time but get over to Portugal as much as we can, and as we are so close to the airport, often fly out just for a day or two. We have family and friends with properties out there and do a lot of socialising when out there, so the house is perfectly central to everything we need;beaches, bars and restaurants, golf, shops and waterparks. The children are never bored, nor are we.

We have spent many years holidaying in Vale de Lobo and wanted to find somewhere to buy that was close enough to the resort, but not in the middle of it, as it tends to get overrun in the summer. We frankly didn't fancy the idea of holiday revellers passing our door singing at 4am!

I have recently refurbished the house and have spent many years in the planning of it. It is full of character and finishing touches that we created ourselves. It is
by no means a standard villa, and is quite unique.

We are 5 minutes from pretty much anything that you need, but having the benefit of a peaceful location. The house is great for approx four families and totally geared up for children from every age.
