I had a fabulous time and would love to go back. Everything was as described. I did yoga on the roof deck and looked out at the water — it was so nice. The town is lovely. The host and property manager were super responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

We had a very nice and comfortable week in Jamie‘s apartment at the beginning of January. On sunny days we happily enjoyed the private rooftop deck. The apartment has a top location in the center of Cabanas close to the promenade. Several cafes and bars and some restaurants were open. The apartment was exceptionally clean and check-in/check-out with Wave Algarve was easy.Communication with Jamie was very friendly and we felt very welcome.

This wonderful apartment is exactly as advertised. Jamie is a fabulous host and the lovely gentleman from Wave was there to check us in. We had everything we needed for our month long stay including A/C, washer, full kitchen and 3 choices of outdoor spaces to enjoy. Cabanas is such a picturesque village with a good variety of restaurants and shops. The short trip in the water taxi to the beach is very inexpensive and the wow factor of the beach when you arrive is amazing!We’re already talking about our next trip. Thanks again Jamie.

Excellent, enjoyed living in the heart of the cabanas Portuguese community. Close to restaurants, cafes and short walk to boardwalk. Accommodation well suited 2 persons and exploring. Decks were great and as asvertized. Particularly the roof top.

Excellent location

Cabanas was lovely. Location was excellent for restaurants, snack bars and supermarkets. The place had a nice vibe. The accommodation was spacious, lovely balcony plus a roof terrace ideal for sunbathing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and family.

Excellent communication with Jamie regarding all aspects of our stay at Cabanas. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and had everything you need for a 'home from home' holiday. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance with good choice of food and drink.Overall, a lovely apartment with excellent facilities and location within the Ria Formosa National Park. This gave us a new and different outlook on the Algarve after visiting a couple of times. A much quieter and less busy location if you don't like the more noisy Albufeira, for example, you won't be disappointed.

ideal break in a lovely part of Portugal

Easy location to get too & only 35mins from Faro. Cabanas itself has grown over the years but not too much that it is like the other popular holiday resorts nearby, still holds that small town feel with the local population at the heart of it. The apartment has everything you need and is central to all that is going on. We just love visiting Cabanas.

Perfect lil find

This property was such a special find. The small community makes the whole journey a perfect Portugal experience. We took many road trips, lots of nature walks and ate amazing food (for an incredible value). Jamie is a wonderful host. Hope to be back someday soon.

Great Find!

We couldn't be happier with our stay at this property...ideal couple's apartment in a great location. The terraces were especially appreciated.Finally, Jamie, our host, was ideal. She had provided the apartment with a binder dealing with a wide range of information and suggestions. The bottle of white wine in the fridge and a rendezvous for coffee were most appreciated.

Chill Out Break In The Sun

We booked this property for a 10 night break in the sun. The property met all our expectations. Considering how close the property is to the waterfront it has amazing amount of outside space . Ideally located for access to restaurants and bars and also within 2 minutes walk of a Spar supermarket stocking all the things you are likely to want for a self catering break. Wave the agents meeting us on check in (as Jamie the owner was away) were really helpful and accommodating and it was all very simple as was the check out process. Thanks to Jamie for allowing us to use your property and thanks again to Wave for your professionalism.

Enjoyable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jamie’s place for two weeks end of January/beginning of February. It is accurately displayed in the listing. The outdoor spaces were our favourite parts of the apartment. The apartment was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Jamie, the owner, communicated clearly and was available if we had any concerns (which we did not). We would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

We chose Cabanas as it offers a natural beauty, incredible beaches, many quality golf courses, great restaurants and friendly atmosphere, with all the amenities one would need for a great holiday! We love the area so much we have bought other apartments here. Do ask if you are interested in viewing these.

Cabanas apartment is only one street from the sea front promenade of Cabanas. Our private roof top terrace offers both sun and a protected shady oasis, as well as two other large terraces are a treasure.
