Weekend get away

I cannot say enough good things about Jeffery. There was a hiccup with our reservation and when he caught it he went above and beyond to fix it. We became fast friends lol. Very knowledgeable about Jim Thorpe and made was accessible for our needs. So happy we got to share one of our favorite places with our kids. We can’t wait to come back!

Weekend Away

Our second stay at your wonderful apartment. The check in process is so easy and the apartment is within walking distance of everything in Jim Thorpe. This is a great place for two couples to have a great weekend. Lots of fun things to do in Jim Thorpe!!

Another Fun Stay

We are repeat guests at the apartment and just love it. It's a perfect location in Jim Thorpe, and having a parking spot is wonderful if you decide to drive to local attractions in the area. The owners decorate the apt according to the season which is a really nice touch. They are great owners and we will definitely return.

Beautiful Property

Booked a last minute trip for my daughter and I and I am so glad I located this property. It was in a perfect location, private parking, clean and quiet. We were able to meet the inkeeper and speak to the property manager and both were so kind. I can't wait to stay again!

What an awesome quaint little town and amazing property. From the location to the amenities to even the smallest of finishing touches this is a great place to stay. Close to many outdoor activities. Property manager onsite and readily accessible which is so comforting. We will definitely be back!

Perfect apartment, thoughtful touches!

We had an amazing long weekend in Jim Thorpe at High Street Guest House! Plenty of space, huge bedrooms, wonderful daylight throughout. Kitchen & bath were perfectly equipped. Innkeeper Chad was available to assist with a few quick questions which was much appreciated. 4 adults & a brittany loved everything about the stay and hope to return soon!

Amazing Guesthouse!

We adored our stay in this funky guesthouse. It was immaculately clean, provided all the amenities anyone could need, and the design aesthetics had me squeeing every time we reentered. The location was PERFECT - easy, pleasurable walk to town, but away from the hubub. And included parking was a gamechanger! The owner and innkeepers were so very gracious and communicative. Will be back!

Wonderful place

Stayed here with my partner and another couple while visiting Jim Thorpe and seeing a concert at Penns Peak. One of the comfiest beds I have ever stayed it, the place was immaculate and had an amazing rainhead shower plus a gas fireplace. One of the nicest rentals I've ever stayed at. Communication and check in was a breeze as well as having 2 spaces to park. Highly recommend!

Great stay

This is my second time renting a property from Jeffery. Both times any issues or concerns I had were addressed in a matter of minutes. And both properties were extremely clean! I would recommend any of his properties for families and friends wanting to spend a few days away in the Jim Thourpe area. Very dog friendly as well.

Girls Weekday Stay

We are 4 high school friends who are retired and like to get together periodically for a girls’ “weekend”. Two live in NEPA and two of us live in the Carlisle, PA area so we wanted to find a place in the middle. The apartment was perfect! It was very clean, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace was great as we were there for a couple of rainy days! The Christmas trees and other decorations added a wonderful Holiday touch! Jim Thorpe is a very lovely town (even in the rain!) and we enjoyed our stay. The train ride and the trolley ride were great! Wonderful restaurants and very friendly people! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

I am drawn to Jim Thorpe and to the Pocono's in general and am very glad to live in this amazing town surrounded by the ever changing Appalachian landscape. You cannot beat the endless miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, or the tubing, kayaking, skirmish, yoga, skiing, rivers, lakes, and fishing or the cultural and historical attractions. So close to the major east coast cities, yet worlds away!

This magical historical (pre-civil war) building was originally an armory and later in the 1800's it was a boarding house. In recent years, it was remodeled into separate apartments in the 1980s. Since 2017, each apartment was remodeled and updated to have all of the modern conveniences and comforts of home.

Located directly across the street from the Old Jail Museum and a 2 to 6 minute walk to the other attractions, bars and restaurants.

The COVID 19 sanitation process involves washing every single thing that is washable, and for things that aren’t washable, such as furniture and curtains, we use a chemical disinfectant ( Lysol) followed by high temperature steam sanitizers. The high temperature steam provide an extra level of sanitation. We have a very involved and intricate sanitization and sterilization process and the place is most definitely sanitary!

We are super serious about keeping ourselves and every single one of our guests safe and healthy… We take no chances!
