Qiuck weekend getaway

The stay was good, we had an issues with the internet but was quickly resolved. The view off the back deck was breathtaking.

Weekend Getaway

Disappointed the fire place didn’t work. Dryer wasn’t working and out side recepitacals not working.

Sweet week. Very pleased.

Sweet Isabel was exactly as advertised and pictured. Nothing and nothing more. Everything was great!! Some of the grounds around the property and the pool could use some TLC. We had a group of 15 with an additional 5 that came for a quick visit. Overall, pretty pleased and enough space.

Fun but would not rent again

Beach front was fantastic. House has very steep stairs and is narrow more like a town home. Neighbors are super nice but are locals with many dogs who are always out on their decks barking all hours of day and night. The properties on either side of this one are very close together so not any privacy. Stairs on the outside also very steep, especially for older dogs. Great location in nags head tho!

Great vacay

The property overall was very nice!! It could use some updating, the couch had a broken leg, screen door on main level hard to open, and outlet cover in bathroom on top level very loose, also the toilet in that bathroom sometimes wouldn’t flush and had to keep trying. It was pretty clean, we did find an empty soda bottle and some candy wrappers under the loveseat, maybe remind cleaners to check under things. The outdoor shower did not work, but we made due with the hose to rinse. The location of the property was excellent, mngmnt responded to us quickly, and we all had such a wonderful time!!!

Nice location, but lacking some necessities

We stayed at this home for a week because of my daughter's wedding at Jennettes Pier. The kitchen had every appliance you can imagine, but lacked sharp knives. The frig had no shelves on the door, the ice maker in the freezer did not work, most pans and cookie sheets were unusable. The outside shower was unusable due to a foot of sand and a knife on the ground. The electric outlets throughout the house were loose and many did not work at all. Some windows had no screens and some baths needed new shower curtains. The dunes were very high and it was tough to climb up to get back to the house. The pool and hot tub were clean and working well.

Thanks for letting us know about your recent stay in Sweet Isabel. This is a great oceanfront property which the owner takes great care of. We will be sure to advise about the dull knives. We wish we would have heard from you about the outside shower and outlets. We would have happily sent someone to take care of this issue. Since your stay these items and others have been corrected. As for the dunes you were here during a significant storm where sand was displaced and it did accumulate on stairs and walkways during that time. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Beach life

Oh so Sweet Isabel

Sweet Isabel in Nags Head, NC was a warm and welcoming beach house for us cold weather folk from far up north. The house was plenty spacious for our party of 10 (8 adults and 2 children) We would have preferred one of the bedrooms that was listed as having two twins beds had remained that way rather than switching after booking to a bunk bed as we had 4 married couples, but we made it work. Might suggest that one set of bunks on the 2nd floor be added to the extra large room on the main level and to put back the twins on the second floor for more versatilty. The house was very bright with beautiful deck to enjoy the sunrise/sunset. Pool was very freshing on hot days, but paying extra for pool to be heated is not worth it as we saw very little difference. Wish property had a gas grill for ease of use, charcoil takes a lot of time and it is very windy. The location of this property is hands down it's greatest appeal. Very close to shopping, mini golf and the pier. Neighbors are very friendly. We had a wonderful time and would enjoy doing it again.

Beautiful place

Very beautiful, right on the beach. It was my daughters wedding week and we rented the house for relaxation before the big event. WONDERFUL!!!! Will be booking it again for another family get away!
