Die Liebe zum Detail kommt in diesem wunderbaren Strandhaus zum Ausdruck. Whirlpool auf dem Oberdeck mit hervorragender Aussicht. Gasgrill, professionell eingerichtet und makellos gepflegt. Kurz gesagt, SUNDAY DRIVE ist der, nach dem Sie gesucht haben! Privates Schwimmbad (12 'x 24' - nierenfƶrmig). Strand mit Bewachung (in der Saison).

"Etwas fĆ¼r jedes Alter! Nahe am Strand, wunderschƶn eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet, viele Spiele, Videos und StrandausrĆ¼stung. Das Beste, was ich auf den Outer Banks gesehen habe "Kay Klepper - aka -" Nana "

Excellent vacation experienceā€”house descriptions were accurate. The dune bench was great in our windy days (50 mph); the dune laurels shielded the dune-top benches, so we could enjoy the atmosphere sans wind.Location is great if you enjoy classic beach restaurants; Whalebone seafood market is near and great for seafood at the house.

Family vacation

This property was perfect for our family of 12. The location is ideal to just about everything we wanted to do. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The beach itself was wonderful and just a short walk. I would definitely recommend this property.

The More The Better!!!

Beautiful location with beach and views, lots of rooms and bath rooms. Nicely decorated! When we asked about the sink and hot tub, your crew came quickly. Crew arrived that day. One issue was some windows have air gaps letting in cold air. Large families will love this home!!ā€™

Beautifully appointed home with all you need in perfect location on the beach. Could use some attention downstairs bedrooms a tad musty and bathrooms too. Swap out the Shower curtains and throw rugs downstairs and a new mattress in the Master and it's a five star rental.

Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the location of this home and appreciated being near a lifeguard/public beach with children.We wished there was a large table on the top deck so we could dine with out entire family outside.The home smelled musty and had water damage in many locations. A dehumidifier of some sort would be a huge help, instead of the circular containers all over the two bottom floors. Overall, the space was great for our group and we had a fantastic vacation.

Dryer didnā€™t work which was a big issue for 8 people at the beach for a week. No spare TP and each one was almost out. No Paper Towels or trash bags. No salt or pepper. Had to make several trips to the store as we realized everything was out.

Luckily hurricane Irma turned inland and kept the rain away, however hurricane Jose kept the waves very high all week long.There were lots of beach toys and a few beach chairs. The pool water warmed quickly.Everyone really enjoyed both house and location.

The perfect OBX House

We stayed at this house April 22-28 with my in-laws, brother in law, 18 y/o daughters, and 13 y/o sons. The view and location are truly perfect. The big main living room and fully stocked spotless kitchenā€”- wow! Loved that there was a lower level bedroom and bath that the girls could take over, bunk beds for the boys, a nice secondary suite for my in laws- all perfect. Almost the entire house has been updated and is in great overall shape. Even the bathrooms that look a little tired in the pics really werenā€™t that bad. The boys spent the day between boogie boarding, pool, hot tub and back to boogie boarding. I loved taking my coffee out on the beach every morning. Make sure you are aware of personnel schedules (trash pickup, pool guys coming, etc). This house is the last house next to a parking lot too which is really nice because you have no neighbors on one side. Thank you for a memorable family vacation. We will be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condition of the rental was fine, though signs of age are more apparent in person than in the photos. The house was clean, furniture fine, etc. However, the big issue we had was with the large "water bugs" that would sporadically pop out and upset the guests. We killed probably a dozen in our week-long stay and found a handful more dead on the floor, apparently from the pest control treatments. Their presence killed some of the vibes for our group and while we tried to make the best of it, everyone was pretty grossed out.

Dirty and in Need of a Deep Clean and Maintenance

Reviewer Comments: These are the things I have pictures of that made this review unsatisfactory: grimy toilets, roaches, bugs, broken pool chairs (same as last year). Laundry not picked up from prior week, broken railing, breaker tripped all the time by running a hair dryer, dirty vents and air filters, missing shingles, backboard of basketball hoop broken and dangerous, doors that won't close and lock, headboard not mounted, bowl under sink to hold water from the leak, missing air vent covers. Nasty.

It's a comfortable house with beautiful ocean views. We also appreciated proximity to a lifeguard on the beach. But the kitchen was smaller than it appeared in the photos, and food storage for 6 adults and 6 children was challenging. Also, a second refrigerator -- even a small one -- would have helped a great deal. A warped door that wouldn't close was repaired promptly, but a few small things need attention (stove light is out, outlets in upstairs bath don't work).

Although we did not get a direct hit from Hurricane Debby, she was a minor inconvenience, especially the wind. It was nice to have a pool to swim in the 2 days we had red flags. The house was well furnished and had lots of extras. The kitchen was one of the best equipped we have stayed in. We had all the necessary utensils and many large serving dishes and bowls. We had tweens and teens in our group so I was excited that there was lots of flatware! There were board games and puzzles, books, pool toys, beach toys and beach chairs. There was even an umbrella but it was too windy to try it. I do have a small complaint about the online description. It says the dining table seats 10 but there are only 8 chairs. We were able to sit 11 comfortably by using the backless seats for the living room small table (game table?). Another minor complaint was the path to the hot tub from the upstairs involved going through someone's bedroom, otherwise you had to go down 2 flights of steps, exit the house, and then go up 1 flight of steps.All in all, it was a great house.

The house was well furnished and had lots of extras. The kitchen was one of the best equipped we have stayed in. We had all the necessary utensils and many large serving dishes and bowls. We had tweens and teens in our group so I was excited that there was lots of flatware! There were board games and puzzles, books, pool toys, beach toys and beach chairs. There was even an umbrella but it was too windy to try it. I do have a small complaint about the online description. It says the dining table seats 10 but there are only 8 chairs. We were able to sit 11 comfortably by using the backless seats for the living room small table (game table?). Another minor complaint was the path to the hot tub from the upstairs involved going through someone's bedroom, otherwise you had to go down 2 flights of steps, exit the house, and then go up 1 flight of steps.All in all, it was a great house.

Good beach views, nicely maintained

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sunday drive has a lot of room for people to sleep but the living room area is smaller than we expected. However, you don't spend a lot of time indoors unless it is raining. The view of the ocean is very nice from inside but the walk from the deck to the beach could be difficult for elderly or young ones because it is steep. The bedroom sizes were great for spreading out your stuff and still having space to walk around. The kitchen space was adequate but we could have used more (or better quality) utensils and larger bowls. We didn't have a super large family but I feel if we would have had more than 7 of us the space in the refrigerator would have been a problem. It would have been nice to have a beverage frig in the basement area. Finally, we didn't realize (our mistake) that the top deck does not have steps which meant from that level, you exited the house clear down at the basement level or through a bedroom on the second level. Not a problem for us but it just seemed odd. The porch furniture and the pool were nice. The hot tub chemical smell was too overpowering for our taste. Overall, the home was easy to keep sand free and it was a nice place for a week's stay at the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 4th year @ Sunday Drive! Having the public access to the right is great!Common area is great for meals & game nights. Upper deck to hang outside on in th mornings & evenngs is perfect. Kitchen has everything you need except a crockpot & airfryer. Pool is great in the afternoons to keep cool & spend time together when you need a break from the beach. Our kids are young adults now & we have outgrown this property. We hope that some attention is given to the upper deck for 2025. The queen bedroom on middle floor really needs a ceiling fan. Thanks for 4 fun years,
