Niedliches Zuhause, versteckt im Wald in einer ruhigen Straße im Viertel Granlibakken. Das Haus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer mit einem Dachboden und hat ein großes Achterdeck. Günstig gelegen in der Nähe der Innenstadt von Tahoe City, neben dem Ausgangspunkt von Paige Meadows und sehr privat. Am Anfang des Langlaufgebiets gelegen, ideal für alle Niveaus! Dieses Haus in Granlibakken ist eine moderne Version einer klassischen Kabine. Sie betreten das Haus von der Vorderseite der Wrap-around-Terrasse in einen gemütlichen Wohnbereich mit Gewölbedecke, Kamin und zahlreichen bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten für alle Ihre Gäste.

Sie finden die drei Schlafzimmer sowie ein Loft zum Schlafen! Die Master-Suite verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Zwei weitere Schlafzimmer befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Schlafzimmer 2 verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit einer Matratze mit Kissen und ein Schlafzimmer 3 mit 2 Einzelbetten. Ein weiteres Badezimmer befindet sich zwischen diesen 3 Zimmern. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie den Loftbereich, der eine perfekte Größe hat. Das Loft bietet viel Privatsphäre und ist mit lustigen Schaukelstühlen, einem TV und zwei weiteren Twin-Betten ausgestattet.

Durch die Hintertür haben Sie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die endlosen Baumwipfel, während Sie den Wald überblicken. Unterhalb des Hauses befindet sich ein Nachbarschaftsweg zum Granlibakken Resort oder in Richtung Tahoe City (ca. 1,5 km). Neben der Auffahrt führt der Weg zu den Paige-Wiesen. Es ist perfekt zum Wandern, Radfahren und Entdecken!

Great pots, pans, dishes! Great appliances too. The deck is fantastic, as is the location! Downsides: carpets in bedrooms were stained, closet doors unstable. That entry would be a great place to put a storage for linens, so guests could use the dressers.

Our family had a wonderful week at Tahoe City. The house was clean and very quiet. Loved the trails outside of the house. Would stay here again. The house is very convenient to see and explore Lake Tahoe and also Truckee. We really enjoyed it.

Perfect quiet gateway

My family and I needed a place to stay while visiting my son and girlfriend who are seasonal workers in Tahoe. This house was perfect. We had plenty of room for everybody. There was a card table big enough to set up our Christmas puzzle; the kitchen table was perfect for boardgames; the living room was cozy; there is a trail just outside the house, and a nice bakery close-by. I would definitely stay there again if we go visit again.

4th of July week

The property has a wonderful location, is clean. However some things are very dated, which made the price for the home a bit overpriced. I do know we were there during a very busy week. The kitchen had very used, chipped plates, bowls and not enough of them for the 6 of us staying there. very old used plastic cups you would get free at amusement park or event. Same with the wine glasses, none matched and all were branded from various wineries… not great, especially being in California, lots of wine to drink. All cutlery very beat up and knifes were so dull they were unusable and not to mention very unsafe. The linens in the kids room were very musty and the linens in the loft smelled of bonfire from a previous renter.

I think the property manager was good. But the description of the property was inaccurate. The was no Netflix. We tried "fixing" the problem with the guidance of the property manager, but in the end it was futile because the Samsung TV is too old. This should have been discovered a long time ago. We ended up wasting about 4 hours on this issue. Also, regarding on-site supplies... not even salt??? How cheap is that? It's getting so bad a Tahoe that you can't even depend on TP at rentals anymore. It's so sad that it has come to this.

Our anniversary trip. Clean, but very old!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is very old inside. Nothing has ever been remodeled! However, it was very clean and everything we needed was there except a small cooler for day use. The furniture layout was not even good for two people. We had to lay side by side on the only loveseat. I don't know where a house full would sit. This house is not meant for a romantic vacation and we were disappointed. The view is just of trees right in front of the seating. There were bear gates in use, but no way to turn them on once you were inside. Made us feel unprotected during the night. I'll finish up by saying the management information was great, the location was good and the house and neighborhood was quiet.

We regret that Michelle did not enjoy our cabin as much as other guests, however we usually receive great reviews and have several returning guests who come back for the forest views, privacy, and quiet location. Our furniture layout may not have been to her expectation, but our sofa is a full size (not a love seat), and it is unfortunate that she did not understand how to use the bear wires, as they do not need to be turned on while in the home. We will look into how the instructions are written to prevent anyone else from feeling unprotected at night.

Why would you stay anywhere else?

This cute little cabin has everything you need to keep a family happy! Well stocked kitchen GREAT for cooking! Large deck, on property hiking & bike trails. You can easily walk into town for coffee, lunch or a pastry. Close to the market, even an area to play horseshoes! Fun, fun FUN!!!

Fantastic location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the location of this house. It’s at the end of the street with two trailheads on both sides of the house. The house itself was very clean, and beds were comfortable. The nice large deck was perfect for hanging outside eating and playing cards. We will definitely consider renting this home again in the future.

Tahoe family vacation

Stayed here with the family for a wedding. We really enjoyed the location and the views from the back porch.
