Wunderschöne, üppige, moderne Hütte am Fluss mit eigenem Strand

There is virtually no flora or fauna in the house. We work hard to escort any unwanted bugs out the back door. We have a gentleman's agreement; the humans get the indoors and nature gets the outdoors. The backyard is a native riparian ecosystem. We leave it alone except for the removal of non-native invasive plants. This creates natural habitat for all sorts of critters. The bugs pollinate the trees and feed the fish and birds. The trees feed the deer, bugs, birds and squirrels. The birds live in the trees, eat the bugs, fish and squirrels and sow seeds for the trees. The deer eat the trees and plants. The mountain lions eat the deer and an occasional feral cat. The feral cats eat the rodents. The rodents eat the bugs and the neighbors feed the cats. When all is in synch, the river is full of fish, the sky is full of birds, the trees are ginormous and bursting with fruit and the damn deer don’t eat the beautiful flowers. Note that there are virtually no mosquitos, fleas, flies or ticks here because the spiders, birds and fish all eat them and because the Bay Laurels and Redwoods repel them. This is a good place to experience the circle of life and all that. If one finds that sort of thing itchy and gross, I suggest staying at the Marriott near the Walmart in the Rohnert Park suburbs. They work hard to keep the grounds sanitized for your protection using herbicides, pesticides, traps, poisons and concrete. The only living things are plants on artificial life support. Unfortunately, we don't provide psychedelics or blacklight posters, so if you want to experience the ground vibrate with spiders, you’ll have to bring your own. I prefer not to drop names, however; the “futon" is a gazillion dollar Ligne Roset convertible sofa. The mattress is a McCroskey. The linens are Calvins. The pillows and comforters are eurotrash goose down and the salt is Himalayan. Also, the cushions for the outdoor furniture get sheltered when it is raining. It typically does that a lot in the winter and spring. As mentioned above, this is a temperate rainforest ya know.
