Die beiden Schlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer sind alle mit Flachbildfernsehern ausgestattet, aber mit dem weißen Sandstrand von Taylor Bay Beach, der nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist, haben Sie möglicherweise wenig Zeit zum Fernsehen!

Perfection

The four of us have zero negative comments. Our stay was perfection from the moment of arrival to departure. The house was clean, set up for comfort and they even had water, beer and chips in the kitchen for us when we arrived. Communication was clear and wonderful with the rental staff. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back!

Very nice 'beachy' house. Perfect location. Separate sleeping cabanas a nice touch. Well stocked kitchen. Local management company took care of non functioning TV and air conditioning within hours of our arrival. Taylor Bay is nice and quiet and very shallow in most areas. We enjoyed swimming with and watching 2 sea turtles who were swimming through the beach area.

Our third visit to this tropical paradise was amazing for my husband and me and our two grown kids!

Coccoloba is a beautiful escape. The grounds were secure and lush, opening up right onto the white sands of Taylor Bay. There are multiple spaces for lounging around the pool, in and out of the sun. The main house is bigger than we expected with three large rooms and the kitchen was fully equipped. The two bedrooms were great too. TCI staff are most helpful and keep the property immaculate. The kayak and paddle boards were a great perk. Driving was easy, with great restaurants and shopping close by. We'll be back!

Our 2025 trip to Turks and Caicos was nothing short of majestic. We stayed in the beautiful Coccoloba villa right on the beach—secluded, serene, and simply unforgettable. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service from Julian and his incredible staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety, especially during Hurricane Erin. Their dedication turned what could have been a stressful moment into one of reassurance and care.One of the highlights of our stay was a breathtaking boat ride and snorkeling adventure with Grand Luxe Charter. Exploring the turquoise waters, swimming alongside vibrant marine life, and enjoying the luxury of the charter made it an experience we’ll treasure forever.For dining, Las Brisas quickly became our favorite. Owned by Rachel, it’s a true island gem—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and served with warmth. For everyday essentials, we visited Graceway Supermarket, which was well-stocked and convenient. A thoughtful detail to note is that they do not sell alcohol on Sundays in respect of the island’s traditions.This trip was a perfect blend of beauty, adventure, culture, and kindness. We will absolutely return and recommend Turks and Caicos, this villa, and all the people who made our stay so memorable.

Coccoloba was the perfect villa for our family vacation

We absolutely loved our week at this beach house. If you are looking for quiet away from crowds and relaxation, look no further! We used the kayak and paddle boards every day and loved the authentic Carib. Pod set up with separate small living areas. The house was extremely clean and well appointed. We enjoyed playing board games in the evening on the screened in porch and relaxing by the beach or pool in the afternoon. We played tennis a few days on the private courts and bought fresh lobster and grilled dinner Just typing this makes me want to go back asap. We did have a small problem with the plumbing, BUT the management company had it fixed very quickly. I would definitely come back to this property and / or rent from this agency again.

Awesome location!

The Beach: We loved staying on Taylor Bay - it's truly a hidden gem. It's away from the crowds and the sand is sugar white and the water was shallow for a long way. The House: The house was very charming and we loved having the bedrooms separate from the main house - very private and different. It was large enough for our family of 5 (3 teenage girls) and had every convenience we wanted. The largest downside was the water pump...it was SO loud when it came on - which was whenever you flushed the toilets or turned on any faucet. And I'm talking wake you and everyone else in a 1/2 mile radius up LOUD (it must be on it's last legs). Also, the sun room screens could be redone as they are pulled away from the frames in many places allowing lots of mosquitos and other biting insects in. But with that said, I would definitely stay here again but use lots of repellent. Overall, we loved our week at Cocoloba and would stay here again.

What a waste (1 star and that's for the beach)

This property doesn’t deserve anything close to the 5 star reviews received from the total of 12 reviews it had received so far. The house is falling apart. I try to share some unedited pics through google drive here so you can also see more into what you are getting, however Vrbo asked to remove the link from here per their review policy, so you have to use your imagination instead. At the price of $843 avg/night, this place is excruciatingly expensive for what you get. Yes, the beach is beautiful, but that’s where the story starts and ends my friends. And for that, you don’t have to pay such a price premium. There are so many amazing beaches and properties sitting at those beaches with much reasonable prices and better accommodations. The place feels like a cash cow where the owners keep milking the rent money and not put enough in for upkeep! Doorknobs stay in your hands like souvenirs, multiple window blinds nonoperational (you need to close them btw to stop warm airflow into the house as some of these windows don’t have glass but only blinds – see pictures in google drive), kitchen is not sufficiently equipped (e.g., only 4 porcelain coffee mugs) and what is available is old and falling apart. One of the worst part of the rooms is the lack of air vents in the restrooms. Make sure not to s#@! before bedtime or you will dream all night with the scent of it! Come on, how difficult is it to install air ventilation to the restrooms! And yet you are calling this place a Villa! What gets me the most is the fact that you are being charged for the electricity cost for the ACs in the bedrooms! Are you kidding me! After paying almost a thousand dollars per night, you are asking for the electricity to run the ACs few hours at night! This is nickel and diming. I picked this place to enjoy my limited time off and didn’t care much about its high rental cost. But I expected not to be bothered with extras like this last minute. Not a big deal from the financial perspective. But what gets me is the fact that it makes you feel taken advantage of to find this out at the last minute for a place you spent a small fortune already. You could easily stay in Ritz-Carlton or any all-inclusive resort for this sort of money and the AC would certainly be covered. This information needs to be revealed to potential renters very clearly on the booking page of Vrbo upfront, not after the fact (I will formally submit a complaint about this to Vrbo).

We are sorry to learn about the issues you encountered during your stay. We wish we had known about them prior to your leaving the island as we would have offered you an opportunity to move to another beachfront villa or receive a full refund. Irrespective of the price paid (incidentally we are unaware of anywhere on island you can rent a private 2br beachfront villa with pool for $800 per night) the villa should be in excellent condition. The practice of charging for a/c usage is common on island and is clearly noted in the listing, the terms and conditions you agreed to before booking, and finally in the rental agreement you signed. We sent one of our representatives to do a thorough inspection of the villa after receiving your feedback. We communicated with the owner about the issues you noted, and he has made the necessary repairs. Additionally, the entire villa has received a fresh coat of paint inside and out, many new pieces of furniture, and other upgrades. We sincerely appreciate your candid review and the opportunity it has provided us to enhance the property. Unique awesome accommodation!

So much to say about Coccoloba. It is located on Taylor Bay near Chalk Sound on the south west-ish side of the island, just 10 minutes from the airport. It is not very touristy on that side which was perfect for us. The communication from TC Villas prior to our trip was extraordinary. Due to COVID restrictions, that were eventually relaxed, there was a lot of communication around that. There is a management company (escapes TCI) separate from TC Villas that will meet you at the house to go over a few details. They were incredibly responsive with any questions or needs during our stay. They do request a credit card for incidentals and air conditioning. I had not experienced that before. The kitchen is fully equipped. Check the cabinets for spices and other items before you hit the grocery store as they may already be there. There were ziplock, Saran Wrap, and plenty of dish detergent, toilet paper and hand soap for our stay. There are tons of pool toys. I also want to mention that there was a 2-person-kayak and 2 stand up paddle boards which we fully enjoyed. There are umbrellas, beach chairs and additional lounge chairs that you can take down to the beach. In May, we practically had the beach and bay to ourselves. Two excellent restaurants nearby - las brisas and Omar’s. Be sure to pop over to Sapadilla Bay just down the street for a local vibe. Several beach bars with wonderful food and jet skis for rent. The mosquitos are around for sure - so keep the doors closed as much as possible during the day to keep them out of the bungalows. The separate bungalows was perfect for us. We had college kids with us and they were able to have their own space and keep their own hours. We loved Turks and Caicos. The people are very friendly and we felt very safe. Driving was easy in the left side of the road and we love the roundabouts instead of traffic lights. The island is small, you can cover the whole thing in under 40 minutes end to end. You can drive over to the shops, resorts and more touristy area in 15 minutes. Coccoloba was a wonderful experience for our family. Highly recommend!!

Amazing location!

This was just the trip we needed after a long 2 years! It was a relaxing, quiet trip yet not too far from great restaurants! The house was perfect for 2 couples. We had our own space but lots of time together as well. The location would also be good for families since the water is SO calm and shallow!
