We have stayed at Gulf Dunes many times, and it is a nice complex. The master bed had a very firm bed, which I am sure some people love. We went and bought a topper to use with it, which helped. But it was still too firm for us, unfortunately. But we did love the condo! Thanks for letting us stay!

We were very pleased with the condo. It was clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend. We loved being able to see the Gulf from our room. During our stay only one elevator was working so that did cause long waits but that was the only issue we had.

Reviewer Comments: The rental unit was not as clean as with previous experiences at Gulf Dunes. Immediately noticeable was the dirty and sandy floor. My wife was not happy with the condition of the floor and ended up mopping the floor three times to get it clean. There was a mop in the unit but no mop bucket so she had to use a trash can for the water. Also disgusting was the rug under the coffee table. It left the bottoms of your feet black. It obviously hasn't been laundered or cleaned in a very long time. The bunk bed room had trash under the nightstand and under the bed.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Older, quiet location with beautiful beach that has recently been updated. AC can be adjusted, but resets itself automatically to 75+, so on those days/nights of 90+ temperatures and high humidity, it gets pretty stuffy! Floors and baseboards were dirty...did not walk barefoot; too grimy. Need to replace outdoor dining chairs and the rug in the living room (it was nasty). Kitchen was well equipped. Having washer/dryer was a huge plus. Consider replacing one full bed with a queen in the double room.

My out-of-state guests were first time visitors and had a great time.

NICE BUT NEEDS A REFRESH

Had some small issues one the first day. The shower head in the master bath and coffee maker not in working order. Sent an email and they were both fixed within 20 Mins Which was awesome. The unit wasn't very clean overall . Pink mold in the bathroom and a wet spot with mold on the wall by the bar in the kitchen. The master bedroom mattress was in dire need of replacement. Very hard and felt like sleeping on a stack of springs. Overall I'd stay there again if they got a new mattress and gave it a good deep clean.

Cozy and comfortable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with our condo at the Gulf Dunes.The view was great. Convenient to get to the beach. Condo had most of what we needed. Somethings that we missed having: cutting board, knife sharpener. Also a smart TV in the living room would be nice so we could use our Hulu/Netflix subscriptions. We'll be back in 2023!

Perfect Condo for our family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this condo for our family of 6, but my kids also brought along 2 friends. The bunk room was small be perfect for my boys. The 2 beds in the guest bedroom was great for all of the girls. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fridge has a water and ice dispenser which was awesome and unexpected. The pool is small and does get crowded, but the tradeoff is that the parking was easy and we always found a spot.

Gut: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, Zustand der Unterkunft und Kommunikation
The view in the units and the closeness of it on the beach. The resort is quite and not a lot of people. This is our 8th year to stay at this resort. All but one year was fabulous. The unit had bugs but all other years we have stayed was perfect. I will return again. One suggestion the only thing missing on these units is a hot tub.
