Blu ist das neueste Luxus-Eigentumswohnungsprojekt auf Okaloosa Island und wird im Juni 2019 eröffnet!

Das Besondere an Blu ist, dass es brandneu ist und sich am Ende der Insel befindet, direkt am Golf von Mexiko mit mehr als 300 Fuß privatem Lebensraum an der Golffront. Wir teilen den ganzen Strand mit nur 46 anderen Eigentümern. Unsere Resort-Ausstattung ist die beste auf der Insel und bietet zwei große Pools, einen Zero-Eingang, eine Feuerstelle am Strand, einen riesigen Whirlpool, ein hochmodernes Fitnesscenter, einen Sicherheitsbereich und einen Grillbereich.

Was uns wirklich begeistert, ist, dass unsere Gäste von der Ruhe der ruhigen Seite der Insel Okaloosa zu allem, was auf der Insel Wild Willy's, dem Golf, dem Golfarium und dem BoardWalk angeboten wird, in einem kurzen 3 km langen Spaziergang oder einer Autofahrt gelangen können. Gleich dahinter befindet sich die aufregende Innenstadt von Fort Walton und der nur 3 km entfernte Publix. Sie können auch alles sehen, was Destin Harbour und HarborWalk Village zu bieten haben - eine kurze, 11 km entfernte Autofahrt!

Beautiful, large, ground-level condo w two pools (one being heated) and a hot tub. This spot was a gift for our family of 6. Plenty of room and the convenience of seeing our kids from our porch as they enjoyed the pool space. The property was well furnished with kitchen essentials but does not have beach towels. A bonus: it had beach chairs and many fun, outdoor toys for the kids. This location is unique, and one I want to keep secret as it is a very quiet island just a few minutes from Destin. We would definitely stay here again. The condo itself has a few quirks, which I will share w our contact and that can be addressed and remedied. For future travelers, I recommend sound machines for the rooms as you can easily hear noise from other condos. La Calle Food Hall is a unique, local stop we recommend for meals or just dessert. There are also many shops within driving distance and playgrounds for kids.

Condo is nicely appointed, very up to date and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well-equipped - we had a great time preparing meals as a family and plenty of work space to get the kids involved! The location was ideal, close to shopping and great restaurants. We loved being able to step right out to the pools, and also having direct access to the beautiful beach. Another great feature was the covered parking. There were a couple of rainy days during our stay and it was nice to be able to come and go without getting soaked. We would definitely stay here again!

Patricia, I am super happy you guys had a nice stay! Future guest: Our cleaning team provides the following simple wrapped bar soap in each bathroom, small bottle of dishwashing soap in kitchen, papers towel roll, dishwashing towel, and two dishwashing pods. Each bathroom will receive an initial roll of Toilet Paper. The set up will last most folks a couple of days prior to your needing to have additional supplies. This is the standard set up in our market particularly after Covid and the desire not to share products between guest.

This condo is great! The only complaint would be there is a terrible noise that you hear in the first bedroom to the right as you enter the condo. You can hear it in the laundry room. I thought it was the washing machine but it sounds like it is in the wall. Luckily the couple that was using the room had a very loud sound machine that helped.

We absolutely LOVED the heated pool! We had extreme cold weather and they kept it very warm at 83 degrees! Which was fabulous! We had a maintenance issue with water coming up through the floor. Seems like the owner and building HAO were more focused on who was at fault than the problem itself. It wasn’t a ton of water but annoying enough to have people in and out a couple days! Also the blower on the dryer was SUPER loud and maintenance didn’t seem to care. It just was what it was. Maybe a note saying to do laundry early as the blower can be loud in the front room. It didn’t go off when you turned off the dryer… it was interesting. All in all our stay was good! Place was clean. Could use some more kid friendly dishes or smaller plates. We tried not to use the dishwasher to help with the water issue and ran out of utensils.

Peaceful Beach Vacation

We absolutely LOVE staying at Blu whenever the beach is calling. Clean, beautiful condo with everything we could need & more. The owners are great to work with and other vacationers/residents are always respectful & friendly. We especially love to take Sunrise & sunset walks right out onto the white sandy beach and there are lots of activities/restaurants in Okaloosa or nearby Destin. Will definitely be back and recommend. Thanks!

Family Vacation

Condo unit was on first floor with pools directly out our patio and the beach a few steps further. Rooms were spacious and furniture very comfortable. Our family of 12 enjoyed everything. Will be back in a few years!
