Hi Elena, thank you for taking the time to share with us about your stay! We really appreciate your feedback and we hope to see you again soon!

We're sorry to see this one‑star review and that your stay fell short of expectations. The fire pit was removed from the listing so that guests do not expect it to be available to them. This is because local law enforcement has put a fire ban in place after the fire devastation in this area a few years back. We do note very clearly on the listing: 'Please note that the BBQ grill is charcoal-operated, and briquettes are not provided." We will have our maintenance team inspect the grill and replace it if need be, I am sincerely sorry you had concerns about it. I apologize that pest control follow‑up never arrived as promised. We’ve scheduled a professional treatment and are sincerely apologetic about the breakdown in our communication that resulted in this not being addressed during your stay. We corrected this with our team after receiving your feedback. Regarding supplies: we provide starter items (dish soap, a small amount of detergent, washcloths, etc.), but you’re right that this was not made sufficiently clear. We have since updated our pre-stay guest messaging to make this clearer to renters as they plan their stay. Thank you for the feedback — we take these issues seriously and are making changes.

Hi Charity! We are so glad you and your family had an enjoyable and comfortable stay with us, and Bent Beach met all of your needs! We loved hosting you, and look forward to your next booking with us!

Hi Lisa. We enjoyed hosting you, but we are sorry you were not fully satisfied. Had we been notified of some of your listed concerns while checked-in, we would have promptly sent our local team over to assist. We appreciate your feedback and will share your review with our property team for improvements. We value your booking and hope to provide you with a much-improved stay in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re so sorry for the issues you experienced during your stay. We do not see any outreach during your visit, but had we been notified, we would have promptly dropped off supplies. That said, we sincerely apologize for the oversight by housekeeping in adequately stocking the home and we’ve shared your comments with our management team. We have also asked them to investigate the mildew smell. We value your booking and hope we have the opportunity to provide you with a more polished stay in the future.

Thank you for the 5-star review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate you choosing Meredith Lodging and hope to host you again.
