Unser "Zuhause in der Ferne" (301Gaviota) befindet sich in Phase 1, direkt neben dem Hotel. Alle Annehmlichkeiten (Bar, Restaurants, Spa, "Swim Up" -Bar, Poolhandtücher, Zimmerservice und Concierge usw. usw.) sind vorhanden befindet sich in Phase 1.

Excellent vacation spot!

What a wonderful space. We found it to be the most well-equipped place we’ve ever stayed, the hosts were friendly and communicative and the location couldn’t have been better. We saw more whales while drinking coffee on the balcony than we did on a whale watching trip! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.

We had high expectations based on all of the five star reviews we read when booking and we were not disappointed! Fiona and Dave were great to work with, their property was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, and the Zoetry resort suited us perfectly with attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful & Relaxing Setting

This property is everything it promises to be! The view of the ocean from the balcony where we spotted whales most mornings was one of the highlights of our trip. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated the landscaping and the beautiful flowers and care given to the grounds. Fiona was responsive and helpful to our questions during the pre-planning. The location of the property between Cabo San Juan and San Jose was convenient for us to enjoy both towns.

Beautiful & Relaxing

We loved everything about Fiona's condo. The pictures were accurate. The location was just above the pool with amazing views of the beach & ocean. Our highlights were 1) whale watching with morning coffee on the balcony, 2) a quiet, peaceful pool area with great service and no loud music or nonsense. The condo itself was clean, modern and well-stocked. It really felt like home. I would stay here again and highly recommend to friends.

Quick trip

We did a quick trip and loved this condo! Perfect location between SJD and Cabo. Swimmable beach close by and gorgeous condo w/amazing view of ocean. Owners are wonderful & condo has everything you need and is a very large space and beautifully decorated. Patio is amazing for view during morning coffee and evenings. Will come again!

Amazing!

Our time at Casa Del Mar in this condo was AMAZING. SUCH a beautiful, cozy and welcoming for a family of five. It was spotless, beautifully decorated and made us feel right at home in Cabo. It had everything you could ever want. Would definitely come back here to stay. It was so nice to come back to this little home away from home after a long day of sightseeing or hanging by the pool.

Great for a Stay on the Beach

Casa del Mar is a gorgeous resort, and this condo might be one of the nicest in the whole complex. I rented for a wedding so I had the chance to see a few other condos and none had better furnishings and finishes. 301 Gaviota is also in the perfect location within the resort. You basically can not get closer to the pools and the restaurant in the hotel. Highly recommended!

Exceeds Expectations

It's difficult to find anything to add to prior stellar reviews for this property beyond further validating what has been said. Fiona & Dave are wonderful hosts, their condo is lovely, and its location could not be more "prime". Almost perfectly centered between San Jose and Cabo, on a gorgeous strip of coastline nearly devoid of beach-goers, we could not have asked for a better place to vacation and relax for two weeks. We hope to return again some day!

Best family trip ever!

Fiona was a fantastic host and very quick to respond to our many questions leading up to the trip, and during our stay. The interior of the unit is very well decorated, comfortable and new. None of it was the typical cheap beat up rental furniture, rather it's cozy and tasteful like you would have in your own home. All the beds were as specified and very comfortable. Plus the kitchen was very well stocked and included everything you need to cook at home (which was great for us since we have 2 young kids). The Zoetry property was amazing as well. The pools we're great to relax and play, staff was very accommodating and professional, and immediate proximity to walk on the beach. Perfect family vacation setting where you have the comforts of home and also the resort vibe if you're seeking that. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing quiet condo.

We booked Gaviota 301 for our family spring break. We are a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 kids 18, 16, and 13. The condo was perfect four our family. It is decorated perfectly and the kitchen is well equipped. Parking was easy just to the side of the condo. And the balcony view and furniture were amazing for morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The resort is very quiet and the pools, beach and grounds were perfect. We scheduled several day activities and enjoyed the pool for the other days. Beds were comfortable and linens were high end. We really loved our stay!

Wonderful condo on the beach - perfect location

We had a great time in Cabo staying at this condo for about a week. We loved hanging out on the balcony and watching the whales while drinking margaritas. The location was perfect, close to the pool, pool bar/cafe, the beach, and the hotel restaurant and bar, but still quiet, enough to hear the waves while sleeping. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed and we made many breakfasts and lunches in the kitchen and grilled dinners on the BBQ. The pool was steps away and the staff was so helpful. We enjoyed happy hour there most days. Covid tests were easy at the hotel and we got the results within 2 hours. The owner was very helpful and was quick to respond to our questions. Can’t wait to go back!

Gorgeous view, large balcony, comfortable beds

We just returned from Cabo and loved this well-appointed condo. It had everything we needed. We particularly liked having the convenience and space of a condo while being associated with a nice boutique hotel. Access to multiple pools, an on-site restaurant, concierge, good security and plenty of parking made everything easy and convenient. The owner was super-responsive to the myriad of questions we had regarding Covid testing and contingency plans and was flexible with us when we needed a slight date change. The only negative (and it was minor in the grand scheme of things) was occasional temporary loss of hot water during peak morning hours, but given the perfect climate, beautiful whales and great location, it was a minor issue. We highly recommend!

Even better than expected. Everything 1st class except for the TV. They have Dish but no ABC, CBS, or NBC so no news or stock market except for U-tube. The only thing I would change on this property.

Great location and a beautiful view!

We had a great time at 301Gaviota! The condo had every amenity you could need. We made most of our meals in the condo, so the full kitchen was a huge plus. Dave and Fiona were always very quick to respond to any question we had, before and during the trip. Five stars for them and the condo, for sure! The only negative experience we had was the at the restaurant and pool bar, where we weren't treated very well since we weren't "owners". They questioned us daily on whether or not we had paid the $30/day resort fee, making us feel pretty unwelcome (even after we had paid the fees). It is a weird concept the resort has, that you must pay a fee, in order to give them money for food/drinks. Dave and Fiona were just as frustrated with the resort on this situation, and agreed to take care of the fees for us. With all that being said, I would still highly recommend 301Gaviota to family and friends. Dave and Fiona were great hosts and the condo was beautiful!

Hidden Gem

We had another place booked in Cabo by the arch that fell thru at the last minute.I was so upset! We booked this place sort of last minute. When I say that this was the best thing that ever happened I mean it. David and Fiona’s condo is PERFECT!!! The view is insane, the condo itself has literally anything you could need. Staff are super nice, you can order room service from the hotel restaurant!!! They have a wagon thing to bring groceries in and an elevator so you don’t have to schlep up the stairs with all your crap. Great water pressure in showers, comfortable beds, Apple TV, beautifully decorated!!The beach is literally deserted, the location is perfect away from the busy crowd but within a very short drive to any restaurant or activity you may want. The grounds around the property are immaculate. Don’t waste your money on a hotel or other overpriced BS. This is the real deal. And not for nothing, I am super picky!!!

Beautiful condo

Loved Fiona's condo! Gorgeous views and she had everything you could need. Communication was great. There is a daily resort fee to used gym and facilities. Something new. That being said, if you aren't going to use the gym, don't bother paying it. You will still need to use your credit card at pool and restaurants so there is really no advantage. Hotel pool can get really crowded(All inclusive set), but with Fiona's advice we used condo pools and they were amazingly peaceful and open later. Hotel pool stops serving at 3:00 and closes pool and hot tub at 8:00. But condo pools open until 10:00. Easy uber to both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose. This condo was very close to ocean, many others are set far back. Stop at Fresko on your way from airport and stock up. On site restaurant were just ok and a little pricey. The views and white sand beach of this resort are way better than the properties in Cabo san Lucas. If you go left at the beach and walk down to the Hilton they rent snorkel gear and have a swimmable beach. My daughter loved all the fish she saw and even heard a whale under water. Speaking of whales, we saw so many from the balcony I lost count. Paradise:)

Perfect in every way!

While the photos of this property are accurate, it's just not possible to capture how stunning the views are with photos. Everything about this property was exceptional! The living-room was perfect for evening lounging and taking in a movie, the kitchen had every single item one would need to cook a meal or make a nice cocktail, the outdoor living space was extremely relaxing in the early morning while sipping coffee or at sunset with a cold beverage in hand. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds super comfortable. All the linens were provided and were all very nice. We wanted for absolutely nothing! You know how you are usually ready to get back to your own bed after vacation?? Not us! We decided that the king bed provided was more comfortable than our own and we were definitely not ready to leave! All the staff we encountered at Casa del Mar were extremely friendly and helpful. The food and beverages we ordered the day we relaxed at the pool were all very tasty. The location of this property was perfect for our plans. We were close to San Jose, close enough to Cabo, very close to one of the most spectacular beaches we've ever visited. Don't miss Playa Santa Maria! Hats off to the very friendly and helpful owners of this property. They have truly thought of everything. We were sad to leave. When we return to the area, we know exactly where we will stay! My husband Dave and I (Fiona) live in Calabasas in the greater Los Angeles area. We have three grown kids, Frank, Jack and Grace. As they grew up, they spread their wings. One lives in Indiana with his wife and baby, one in LA and one in Chicago. Cabo is our happy place where we all love to come together. We have owned Gaviota since 2015. We took it back to its shell & remodeled it over the next 5 months. We're here at least once a month enjoying the relaxed lifestyle and fun community. We just love it, and if you can find a gap in the calendar when we're not there, you are more than welcome to share in the experience. :-)

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.
When we decided to buy in Casa Del Mar, we looked at many condos. Each had their own charm. It quickly became apparent that we needed a wish list.
* Unobstructed Oceanview, * Overlooking the pool and Beach, * Adjacent to the hotel,
* Afternoon sun, * Sunset & Night lights, * Upper level,
Gaviota was the first place we fell in love with and it ticked all the boxes.
The view was incredible and the 3rd floor location gave us the privacy we desired. We overlook the pool, the beach and the gorgeous night lights. The Condo needed a lot of TLC so we took it down to its bare bones and spent 5 months renovating it. Summer of 2024, we upgraded the kitchen counter, added a larger kitchen window and painted throughout. It was important to keep the hacienda feel of our surroundings and make it feel like home, so we focused on comfort and adding all the things we would find in our own home, in this home too.

Our Homeowners Assoc recently added 2 pickleball courts along side our Tennis Court, so don't forget to pack your paddles and balls, and come and enjoy. If you don't have your own paddles, there are loaners at the court.
