Incredible stay!

Wow! Ed and Kathy’s cottage was the perfect place for our family to stay over the Christmas holiday. Loved all the amenities provided— drinks in fridges, well stocked pantry, clean pool, and plenty of bikes with helmets just to name a few! We can’t wait to go back!

Quiet family getaway

Easy process to rent. Owners were accessible and responsive. Very well thought out place. Extremely well stocked, including beverages, linens and towels. Location was terrific, close to restaurants, beaches and shopping. Would definitely return!

Just like home

This property makes you feel at home. The coastal decor and personal touches relax you the minute you enter. The pool and lanai overlooking the golf course is stunning. The hosts think of everything. I wish there was a higher rating than 5 because this one deserves it!

Excellent Stay

We really enjoyed everything about our stay at Ed and Kathy's cottage. The property was exactly as advertised and everything was perfect for our stay. The home is very well maintained and has everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the owners was very prompt and any questions we had were promptly addressed. Check in and check out was very easy and we were provided with incremental flexibility based upon a delayed flight at our exit. The pool is tremendous and we used it at both day and night. We look forward to a future stay!

Absolutely wonderful house with equally wonderful owners that think of everything!

This is a beautiful house that is wonderfully located in a highly desired spot of Naples. The house is impeccable (absolutely meticulous) and tastefully appointed. We felt immediately comfortable. We spent many hours by the pool enjoying the view of the golf course. The owners have thought of everything including a beverage filled poolside refrigerator, kitchen / bath / laundry supplies, printer in the office, and bikes / golf clubs / beach chairs in the garage. We hope to make many future visits to this special spot. The house exceeded our expectations from all aspects.

Naples house

We had an amazing 10 days at Ed abs Kathys house. We have rented a lot of houses on vbro and never have seen one better provisioned for the renters. Everything you could need has been thought through and of such high quality. They even left Christmas candy gifts under the tree for our kids! The beds are incredibly comfortable as is the outside furniture. We had a few questions and both Ed and Kathy answered immediately. The house is in a fantastic location close to the beach, downtown and all the amenities you would need. The bikes are also great and we took many rides to the playgrounds and for ice cream. We will definitely be back!

Another Perfect Stay!

This is our second time visiting this property and, once again, our stay was perfect. The cottage was immaculate, and our hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive, and flexible. The furnishings are top notch, the bedrooms spacious with ensuite baths, and the decorations provided the beach cottage comfort that made us feel at home. We enjoyed our days in or by the screened in pool gazing out over the golf course (private yet feels very open), sitting in the comfortable chairs under the awning in the shade, or watching the outdoor television. The refrigerator was stocked and the home had everything we needed. Following a wonderful dinner out at one of the amazing restaurants in the area and watching the sunset at the beach, evenings were spent reading books, doing puzzles, or playing games with the family. We truly enjoyed our time at this cottage and left recharged as we had hoped. We look forward to our return!

Spring Break Nirvana!

Amazing property and location!!! This is by far the best VRBO experience I've had. The house is immaculate, and so well cared for. The fridges were stocked with beverages (wow). The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and linen closets that you would see in a magazine. Anything you could possibly want for a beach excursion was stocked in the garage. Even plenty of bikes for the entire family...and all were in good working condition. The pool/lanai area is absolutely beautiful and a great view overlooking the golf course. The owners completely took care of us every step of the way. It was as near a perfect experience you could have with a home rental. We had an amazing vacation as a result! THANK YOU.

A great week in February

My wife and I, along with our daughter and two grandchildren ages 4 and 8, were looking for place to spend a week in February away from the cold of the northeast. We found this beautifully decorated and newly furnished cottage in Naples. The house has all the amenities you could want. While the house is not necessarily focused on kids, our grandchildren had a great time in the pool. I would definitely recommend choosing to heat the pool during the winter months, which we did. We also rented the grandkids bikes from Big Momma’s, which is close by, and my daughter used one of the provided bikes in the garage to explore the neighborhood with them. The Moorings is a great location, close to downtown Naples and excellent shopping. The lease also comes with privileges to a private beach, which is delightful, and a great place from which to watch the sunset. Communication with the owners is easy and their response is quick and helpful. While the rental fee could be considered by some to be on the high side, the care to the design, furnishings and amenities of the cottage is definitely worth the cost.

Beautiful vacation house.

Our family has rented several houses in the past, but this one was the best. I am a perfectionist and this house was PERFECT. Ed, the homeowner arrived shortly after us and showed us everything we would need to know, which was really very helpful. Everything was brand new and top of the line . The decorating is tasteful and beautiful. The home is complete with everything you could ever need from bikes and beach chairs to laundry detergent and paper towels. Regular dishes, plastic dishes, coffee cups to go. Not to mention a gorgeous giant keruig and a cabinet full of coffee pods. Cases of water.... I could go on and on. There is a beautiful private beach, but also others that are easy to get to...even walk . Shopping , restaurants a short drive. The pool and patio are beautiful with a great view of the golf course. I would definitely recommend this property,and actually already have. We had a couple of questions and our calls were returned right away. This is a great property to rent and great homeowners to rent from. Thanks Kathy and Ed!

Perfect vacation in Naples

Our family was visiting Naples for the Christmas holiday. I communicated with Kathy a few times prior to arrival as we were arriving on Christmas and was nervous about what restaurants would be open and needing some food at house. Kathy recommended a fabulous restaurant for Christmas night dinner and had cheese, crackers and a few items in house waiting for our arrival(both refrigerators stocked with water and sodas as well). As you will see in pictures the house is beautiful and warm. While staying there you truly feel as if you are a guest staying at a friends home! The pool and view of golf course added so much to our stay, each day we spent part of morning or afternoon lounging by pool. The house is stocked with anything you would need, Kathy and Ed have thought of everything……I truly felt while there that it was very important to Kathy and Ed for all guests to fall in love with house and have a wonderful and relaxing vacation. I also love to walk, every day I would choose a different route and so loved how many options I had and how many friendly people I’d meet also walking. If someone was to ask me for anything negative about stay it would be that we had to leave after only staying a week!! Kathy, again thank you for everything, we hope to return again in 2022!!

The owners went out of their way to make us feel totally at home and pampered. Our stay was cut short as we had to return home with the C-19 crisis unfolding, but we will definitely be back. This is a little hidden gem, in the luxury home sector. Ron L.

Beautifully appointed, well-stocked home close to the beach and all that Naples has to offer!

My family of 5 spent Christmas week at this property and had a terrific experience. The owners went above and beyond to make our vacation comfortable and memorable by stocking the refrigerator with beverages (water, beer and soft drinks), the pantry with essentials (olive oil, salt, pepper), the garage with bicycles, and the linen closets with extra sheets and towels. The kitchen, while small, contained absolutely everything a chef could hope for. The pool was large, sun-drenched, and heated to 87 degrees, which meant my kids were content to spend the entire day in it while I relaxed with a book. I really can't say enough good things about this property or its owners. We had a delightful, stress-free experience and would definitely return in future years.

Perfect Naples Cottage!

My family and I enjoyed a week long stay in this beautiful cottage for Christmas. Kathy was absolutely wonderful to work with. This was our first time using VRBO so we were very nervous. Kathy answered all of our questions and was very responsive. She went above and beyond to make our Christmas vacation in her home one to remember. The cottage is very clean and has everything that you need to make your stay comfortable. We were blown away by the attention to detail. There was even a gift for my daughter under the tree! So very thoughtful! There was plenty for us to do from just hanging at the pool to short bike rides to the beach. Kathy even took the extra step to attach a child carrier to one of the bikes so that my 2 year old could go on bike rides with us. The cottage is conveniently located near everything. We were all sad when it was time to leave. My family and I are already looking at the calendar to see when we can come back to Naples to stay at this beautiful cottage again!

Pristine and Perfect

Its always a worry to go to a new vacation house, but in this case there was no need. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated, tidy, clean and excellently located. The pool is just the right size (our kids loved it) and with a refrigerator full of kindly thought out drinks as well as other gifts, I have to say this is the most wonderful place we've stayed. That may all seem rather gushing, but I assure you its the truth.

Comfortable, well stocked and great location!

The attention to detail that went into the reservation process and making us comfortable was also reflected in the quality of the house. Bikes, coffee, beverages, apples, spices, paper products, the suggestion to have the pool heated and the perfectly shiny, clean house contributed to our first class vacation.

Outstanding House To Rent

My husband and I thought this house was perfect! It was recently remodeled with all new furnishings. It's centrally located so you are close to 41 but can take the back way north and south to avoid 41. The house was stocked with everything you might need to cook, enjoy the pool, do wash, take a bike ride, etc. -- there was even all types of drinks in the refrigerator when we got there! We basically relaxed there for a week and felt right at home. Would recommend it for a couple or two as there are two bedrooms with luxurious bathrooms (and a day bed in the office). The owners are easy to work with and most accommodating. We hope to go back next winter.
