Beautiful cottage, great location

Really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is stunning, lots of lovely architectural details. Had a wonderful couple of days in Brisbane would have loved to stay longer!

Beautiful home away from home

Met family here for a short holiday and the house was perfect. More than enough room for all of us, including bathrooms and outdoor spaces. The house had everything we needed and more, even the location was brilliant. We felt safe, appreciated, catered for, and lucky to have spent time in such a beautiful home.

The perfect place to stay in Brisbane

The perfect place for my family to stay while we were in Brisbane for our son’s wedding. The house is stylish and comfortable and suited all our needs. Much better than staying in a motel. Neil and Donna were outstanding hosts and took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. I’ll be recommending the Workers Cottage to everyone as the place to stay in Brisbane.

Christmas family getaway

Thank you Neil and Donna, enjoyed our stay. Fits 8 perfectly. Our 9th family member was on the sofa bed which made things cosy but a perfect venue and very homely. We had a great time. Thanks Neil for being very prompt in all communication.

I booked this house for accommodation while my family and I were up in Brisbane for a large party. Simply put it combines the comfort, space and peace of a house, with the convenience and facilities of a hotel.It is surprisngly large and light, the house is beautifully clean, you drive up literally to the back door and unload into a fully fitted kitchen.It's located in a lovely quiet street (just around the corner from Campbell Newman), but it is a five minute walk to the city busway or the pub and the shops of Lutwyche.Easy access to the airport and the freeways. Easy access to Suncorp or the Gabba. All bundled together into a very reasonable tariff. I am a frequent visitor to Brisbane, this is the best option I have discovered for a couple of days stay.

Beautiful and immaculate!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home! It was clean, roomy and supplied everything we needed. The owners even went above and beyond to add little extra personal touch's for us like a welcome letter, wine and chocolates making us feel like special guests. Neil was brilliant responding to us when my parents were locked out of the house one night and we weren't able to help them - he helped them and sent me a message assuring me that they were in the house and settled - I cannot thank Neil enough for that. The location of this house was perfect for us, close to everything and Uber's were on our doorstep within minutes. Thank you so much Neil and Donna we can't wait to return to Brisbane and stay in your lovely home again!

Overall, a great place for a family stay

Well located, handy to city and airport, quiet neighbourhood. Delightful and well-appointed up-dated worker's cottage, with everything needed for a self-contained stay. Fairly compact, but enough room for our group of 6 adults. Property owners were easily contactable and helpful. "House rules" were a long read, but nothing unexpected and I guess it's best to make everything crystal clear. Metal bed-heads a bit creaky, but I'd definitely stay there again if I needed family accommodation in Brisbane.

Beautiful period cottage in lovely location

Immaculate and beautifully renovated worker cottage in Windsor, close to city with great local shopping. Ideally located for a getaway to Brisbane without the hustle and bustle of the city. The finishes and furnishings were fantastic -a really welcoming and cozy cottage, but with plenty of space for teenagers or children in the separate downstairs accommodation. Highly recommended

Windsor Gem

We had family from overseas visiting and we all enjoyed the stay in the beautiful Windsor. The home is beautiful and tidy. The owner went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. Neil dropped off a bottle of Prosecca on New Years eve, a lovely gesture. We really enjoyed our stay and my family and I will return for future visits. A+ hosts, thank you.

Windsor workers cottage home away from home

Wonderful big cottage with plenty of room for 10 of us to spread out, clean and very tidy and tastefully presented house. Neil answered all our questions very quickly and nothing was too much trouble for him. Easy access to public transport and very close to city and Ekka Showgrounds which is where we needed to be. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Peaceful and comfortable.

House was clean and located in a typical Australian middle class neighborhood. Go for a walk in the morning and you will meet Australians walking their dogs and school children walking to school or bus stops. Easy to park a large vehicle under covered garage off the street. Coles grocery shopping is just about 1 km away where we could get everything. We are a family of 6 and had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and so we slept well. We accomplished everything we wanted to do in Brisbane including hugging the koalas and petting & feeding the kangaroos at Lone Pine Sanctuary . My wife Donna and I have 2 children under 5 and are very family oriented, Donna is a huge foodie and I love playing sport, especially golf.

We purchased the old cottage in 2018 and finished the renovation in November. Our Windsor Workers Cottage is a beautiful quiet place that is as close to homely as we could make it.

Windsor is in a great location, and we are in a very quiet neighborhood, only 15 minutes from both the Brisbane domestic and International airports. We are 5 minutes from the Brisbane Showgrounds ( EKKA ) and 5 minutes from Lutwyche Shopping Village which has Coles, Woolworths and Aldi grocery stores and specialty shops and cafe's.

Public transport is 50 metres away and it's very easy to get around using the Brisbane Buses.
