Beautiful and comfortable house. Excellent location with gorgeous views. The home works really well for a group who want some time together as well as space apart. It was the nicest place we’ve rented in our 9 years coming to Bethany. Great and communicative hosts.

Wonderful stay for 3 generations

This house was wonderful for three families each with kids under 3 years plus a grandparent. The house is clean, updated, and had plenty of space for each family unit.

Fabulous Family Spot

Words can’t describe how happy our family felt about this vacation spot! Beautiful location equipped with everything and more. Communication was excellent. Hoping we get a chance to book again next year!

Beautiful house!!

This is a beautiful house, spacious, very well maintained. Terrific sunset views. We enjoyed using the kayaks and relaxing on the decks. Great location. Owner is very responsive.

Vacation Bliss

We stayed here in June 2010 and had the BEST time. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a great getaway. Everyone in our party raved about the house and its location, it was perfect for all age groups -- we had toddlers, senior citizens, and active adults in between. Had a terrific time biking, kayaking and just enjoying the views.

Great vacation

From the first step on the property everyone said “best house yet” .. from the youngest to the oldest it did not disappoint. Close to the beach , crabbing was great , the house was everything described.. thank you so much for a great family vacation.. btw we maxed out on the 16 guests and it all worked.

The property is beautiful, well maintained, well equipped, neighbors were lovely, helpful and very friendly. As a family, we have traveled to many, many beach locations and we found this to be one of our favorite houses. Thank you for providing and sharing your beautiful home with us!

Wonderful house for our family

This house was a perfect size for a large family with different age ranges. Plenty of room to spread out. We also really loved the state park Beach within walking distance. It was never crowded like other public beaches and was gorgeous! We enjoyed cooking special meals and the OK cooking equipment at this house was

Amazing family vacation!

We loved spending our family vacation in this house. The amount of rooms, bathrooms, the large kitchen area, and the kayaks, made everything easier and more enjoyable for us. The whole was perfect! It was nice to be able to eat or just drink some coffee in one of the desks while looking at the canal. We will definitely rent this house again.

Wonderful for our family vacation

The house was great for our large family. Everyone was able to enjoy time together but still had space to spread out. We enjoyed sunsets from the rooftop deck, kayaking with the two kayaks, bicycling with the bikes provided and the uncrowded beach at the state park. We would definitely consider staying here again. The house was clean and Cherie was easy to communicate with.

Great house

Tremendous house with plenty of room and bathrooms. The elevator was a godsend since I am 87 years old. Only problem is getting to the beach is not that easy with construction going on. We would stay here again.

Great stay on the canal Bayside!

The property is even better in person! Great access for my 92 year old mother… with an elevator for mobility! Everything needed for any family and celebration! Best view of the July 4th fireworks. The kayaks, bikes and beach things were perfect as was the canal fishing! Thanks Cherie for sharing this lovely property!

Beautiful house equipped with everything!

The house was beautiful and clean. It came equipped with all the essentials plus more (paddle boats, bikes, towels, water, etc.). Easily the best stocked house we have been to. Great deck views, good communication with the owner and easy process.

This was no cottage. Beautiful house with everything u need in it, including an elevator and ice machine. Kayaks for cruising around the bay were a plus. Great views from the many decks

Nice house and plenty of room for our family with more than adequate seating. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed using the kayaks in the canal…very convenient. The access to the beach was a little strenuous for our older family members (even with the parking passes), but was definitely less crowded than Fenwick Island State Park Beach access. The beach toys, beach chairs, and bicycles were a nice bonus. For the price it was disappointing that we had to make and strip our own beds. Also, there was garbage leftover in the kitchen trash from the previous guests. Not sure there was a thorough cleaning between renters? All the house systems worked fine except the following, couple of minor things:Microwave handle was broken and the plastic vent grille above the microwave was held in place with adhesive tape. The microwave did function.The main kitchen sink faucet was loose. Couple of the toilets were easy to clog, but a plunger was provided, so we resolved that issue ourselves.We knew this up front, but we did miss not having a pool that we could access.In general, the owner was very responsive, for example, when we found a TV remote with a missing battery, the issue was resolved that same day.

Wonderful Vacation

The house was great. It was very clean and well organized. It had everything you needed. My family really enjoyed the bikes and kayaks. You can really tell that the owner really cares about her house and goes there often. I definitely recommend this to a friend. I have been renting vacation homes for many years and I would say this is one of the best.

Family Vaca 2025

The house was perfect for our family of 15. The canal was a great location!Communication was also perfect.We have stayed in many VRBO homes, but this was the first time we had to make all the beds when we arrived. The host supplies the clean bedding, but we had to make the beds and there are a lot of beds. After a travel day, that was unexpected. Other than that, the house was perfect.

Spectacular beach get away!!!

Our entire family (including kids and spouses) had a wonderful week at this beautiful beach house. In fact, it's been a few weeks since we were there and we all are still talking about it. Everything was perfect...from the quiet canal overlook, amazing sunsets, fully equipped kitchen, boats, bikes, grill, beach chairs, cooler, crab cages, location...to Bethany boardwalk, restaurants, and beach access. The website was a true snapshot of this magnificent house. We hope to return next year and hopefully make it an annual family event!!!!

Checked all the boxes

This property was perfect for our family of 12 which includes Grandparents, five adult children, their partners, one toddler and one doggo. Plenty of room. Very well appointed home with everything you could need. Elevator was a game changer! We rented paddle boards and used the kayaks, grill, dock and of course, the rooftop for sunsets!

Amazing location and house. Wish we could have stayed longer.

You're definitely cannot go wrong with staying at this location. I am hesitant to say how awesome it was because I want to make sure it's available for me in the future. We had a family of eight people and felt that there was even more room for any more people. It was still privacy with as many people. We had multiple family members and one person brought a dog for a day or two. I cannot say how amazing the view is from the top of the house and how easy and convenient is to walk to the beach where you're not overrun with people. We will definitely be trying to book this in the future. Thank you so very much for an excellent day!

Perfect beach stay

This house really makes for a perfect beach vacation. It’s in a quiet subdivision of Bethany, right on the bay, but is a short walk to the beach (which is hardly ever crowded). The house itself is beautiful and spacious. All the bedrooms are large, and several have en suite bathrooms. The furnishings and decorations are tasteful and not kitschy, and there are many thoughtful extras, like a roof deck, an ice machine, and an elevator. There are also so many other thoughtful amenities, like kayaks, bikes, crabbing cages, beach gear, games, and cooking spices. It’s really set up as if it’s your own beach house, with everything you might want on-site. We have nothing but great things to say, and we hope to come back in the future!

A lovely home that met all of our needs and more.

We had a very enjoyable family time with 3 generations of 11 adults and 3 fur babies. We were well equipped to live the beach and bay life with all the amenities provided by our generous hosts: beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, kayaks, crab traps, and the fantastic kitchen which was a joy to cook in too! We took every advantage of the gorgeous sunrise and sunset views from the decks— the rooftop view is expansive, and basked in the sun at the beach across the highway as well as at the handicapped accessible state park beach 3 miles south. The house was very comfortable especially for my elderly parents, and Cherie responded quickly to our questions. I hope we can stay again in the future—we’d love to come back!
