We stayed for the month of February and had a wonderful time. The unit was very comfortable and cozy. Had everything we needed. It is located next to the pool and easy access to the beach. Couldn't ask for more. Will be back next year. Oh yes, and we had a view of the water. Perfect.

Had a great time.

Very close to the beach and even closer to a awesome pool with waterfall and hot tub. Area was great, felt safe with friendly neighbors. House was clean and had everything we needed including linens and towels. Was pet friendly. Beautiful landscaping. Super friendly staff at rental office and at portside resort. AC froze up and they had someone out to fix it within 2 hours before house could even warm up. Had a really great time and would recommend to others.

Good location, condo nothing special

Nice location on property. Need some basc repairs - folding closet doors work poorly as well as patio door. Was not clean upon arrival so be prepared to wash floors and get crumbs/ dust out of drawers. Washer and dryer work well. Not much privacy as every outside area is quite open to condos on either side. Thankfully we had nice neighbors. Quick walk to pool, hot tub & beach. Lots of folks with dogs like us. Comfortable beds. Well used furniture. Price was good - an older condo.

Across the street from the beach

The unit was ok but needed an air freshener. The carpet on the stairs left my white socks dirty. As we didn't spend a lot of time indoors it was ok as the location was great. Really just a carpet cleaning on the stairs and an overall good cleaning would make the star rating go to 4-5. Had to find the office with the key. Not at the front.

Not luxurious, but worth the money

Our check in process was rocky. we drove 8 hours over night and arrived around 9 am because the day prior, i called and was told we could check in at any time- no one was staying that week. We were told we had to wait 3 hours for the housekeeping inspector to come by. They were aware we had a dog, so we were limited on what we could do We also hadn’t had any sleep. Once we finally got checked in, we found a few minor issues with the condo- the sliding glass door was broken, the eyes of the stove weren’t put in and one didn’t work, just minor things we weren’t that concerned with. We stay at Portside resort every year but in a different condo and it is much nicer than this one but I guess cheaper prices means you’re cutting out the nice factor.

Room was not clean. Deadbolt not working. Carpet filthy with pet stains not able to sleep upstairs having to sleep on couch and recliner after covering with sheets brought from home. Couch and chair stained and pet hair. Had to purchase mop to clean tile. Very sticky. Removed floor rugs during visit due to pet urine smell and stains. Dirty dishes dud not use purchased paper plastic utensils. Should be able to get nice accommodations even when traveling with pet.

Deceptive listing and rude employee

I was changed to a different unit than what I reserved and without being notified. This is common practice for Panhandle to do based on managment. I also couldn't pay my final payment throguh VRBO. Not an issue but then everything still shows as owing the balance. We had one employee harrass us multiple times one night. He repeatedly tried to engage my husband in a fight and had my daughter hysterically upset. I have never been treated so poorly and will not stay at this property again.

Ok ...needs to be cleaned better.

The place looked ok to begin with but ....dog hair under all the furniture ... We took sanitizer wipes and cleaned first thing and it was not cleaned, or sweped very well, the sliding doors are so difficult to open, bath tub filled up as the shower was on, no iron but a iron board, no hair dryer and sofas are stained and not cleaned good, the property office wasn't opened when it said, and they rent tennis rackets and shuffleboard items, which I think is rediculous when they could just lend them .... Drop license off or something, the court has one pole for the net so it can't really be used, and huge cracks, pools are nice, clean but the hot tub didn't work the whole week we was there which was a big disappointment. Also you have to pay to park 20 dollars 😳👎 really ? As much as you pay these things should be free .the beach is across the road . Short walk .

Good time.

Property was in great location, two pools, kiddie pool and hot tub were nice, beach access was right across the road. Condo wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked but it was decent. Didn’t like that I had to pay 20 dollars per vehicle to park after already paying for the whole stay, also had to pay for bracelets to enter the pool area. That being said I will probably stay here again, people working at propert management office were super nice.

Location is great with easy beach access but the condo has seen better days. Old, damaged furniture and faded, scratched up cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms. It could also use a good deep cleaning.

For the price that we paid I could’ve stayed somewhere else nicer there was mold mildew unpainted walls trash outside trash inside burnt up charcoal by the back patio I took pictures and videos I did contact the property manager they extended our stay for a few hours I chose not to after finding mold on the stopper for the tub the The shower knob falls off nearly burning you couldn’t open the sliding glass door with not having to fight with it the owners of the property needs to give it some TLC for the price they’re charging not worth what I paid for it

Good location, pools where great!

This location was great, directly across the road from the ocean and the pools were fantastic! The condo was not the cleanest, there was sand on the floors at our arrival and the carpet and furniture was stained. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were clean. There were tiny ants in the kitchen and upstairs in one bedroom.

Had to pay to park and use the pool. Ants in the kitchen, no hot water and dryer was broken.

Will never stay there again.

Thank you for your feedback, Will. We're sorry if your experience was anything less than five stars. It looks like you notified us about the broken dryer on the day before your departure, and it was repaired the following day. As stated in our mobile app, the HOA charges a $20 amenity fee, which is due at the resort upon arrival. We could not locate any reports from you about no hot water, and we have not received any similar reports following your stay. We have made several updates to the unit and we hope for an opportunity to earn your trust in the future.

Quiet, cute, and clean!

Best place to visit with my family and pets! Just across the beach! Great value, quiet area, clean, and had all the important things you need! Would book again!

Vacation

Good location. The property was clean. However could stand some updating for door mats, coffee maker. The can opener didn’t work at all. AC worked great.

I wouldn’t stay in this place ever again

What you see in the pictures it’s not what you are going to find .. terrible beds ... old furniture looks like nobody takes care of that place , I wouldn’t recommend this place

Quick Weekend Getaway

This was my second time booking a vacation at this condominiums. This specific condo was a lot closer to the beach. No more than a 5 minute walk across the street to sand. The unit was nice and cool. All appliances worked perfectly and the rooms themselves were clean. We did not notice any left over sand. We did notice some ants come out at night in the kitchen. There weren’t many and they didn’t get into our food but we did see them trail along the countertops near the sink and to the floor. Our food is all refrigerated so they were not able to get into that. And some Clorox spray was able to keep them at bay for a while before the next night. There was also some mold on the window in the second bedroom. We believe this may have given the unit a light smell of mold. Other than these 2 points that we noticed, the stay was just as it’s pictured online. It’s a great location to nearby shops and restaurants. The pools are spacious and clean. The gym is pretty basic for what it’s worth. No free weights to squat, bench or deadlift but some cables and dumbbells do the trick. And even a treadmill if you prefer to run indoors. We would definitely come back!

Great

Don’t force the washer door open. It has a locking mode. Back door locks were annoying, but worked. Pleasant area, pleasant stay. Wish the pool was 24/7. Not much more demeaning than a security guard telling adults it’s bed time at 11. I’m on vacation. If I’m not destroying or disturbing, leave me alone.

Family vacation

Loved the location! Plenty of room. Only thing I wish it had was beach toys/floats/chairs. Other than that it was fine.

Dirty Condo

I had booked one week prior to arrival not knowing a tropical storm was lurking. They would not allow us to move the dates so we came. The condo was dirty. It had pungent urine odors throughout the bottom floor. The tile floors were grimy and filthy. I don’t think it had been swept or mopped from the previous tenants. The beds were comfortable yet small. The shower was the best part. Excellent water pressure and heat. I did see a couple of bugs inside the bathroom. We actually left a full day before our rental was done. One positive note, the pools up front are awesome. The hot tub is on a 15 minute timer that never gets hot. But the pools are great!

Nice place to stay

We got to the property after the normal check in time. After calling the number for the corporate office, we had some confusion, but once they told me their office is just on the other side of the fence, we were able to get a key. The condo itself is nice, and clean. Beds are comfortable and the living room is nice. No view of the beach from the condo but it’s close. The swimming pools are nice and have cool waterfalls and fauna. If definitely stay here again.
