Die Sonne scheint hell auf jede Ecke dieses kleinen Juwel eines Hauses an der North Fork. Bereiten Sie ein Hummerfest in der luftigen Küche zu oder entfliehen Sie mit einem Buch in den großen privaten Garten. Das gemütliche Ausziehsofa ist perfekt für einen Filmabend.

Die beiden Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Obergeschoss. Eine Königin im ersten Schlafzimmer und zwei Zwillinge im zweiten Schlafzimmer. Die Matratzen bestehen aus Memory-Schaum und die Bettwäsche aus Baumwolle. Das Innere des Hauses ist gestrichen und mit entspannenden monochromen Weiß- und Grautönen gestaltet.

Oasis on North Fork

Lovely property. Just perfect for a getaway. Convenient to Mattituck dining and shopping as well as to other towns on North Fork. Property owners were very helpful with any questions. Would love to stay and again and highly recommend it!

LOVELY HOME AWAY FROM HOME

MY DAUGHTER AND I SPENT 3 RELAXING WEEKS AT GUSTAVO AND LYDIA'S HOME IN JULY. THE HOUSE WAS LOVELY, QUIET, WELL EQUIPPED AND CLOSE TO GOOD STORES, RESTAURANTS AND THE TRAIN STATION FOR EASY COMMUTE TO NYC.

Nice house in great location

We had a terrific stay in Mattituck and loved that the house was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. It was also a short drive to the wineries. The house looked exactly like the pictures with contemporary decor - very nice. Thank you!

Charming and Great Location

My husband and I spent July and August at the house. The house is cute and well-maintained with all necessary amenities. The property has a large lovely backyard to lounge in with a grill and picnic table. The location is great - within steps of Love Lane. The owners were very attentive and responsive to any needs.

Quaint cottage decorated well and very clean

We had a lovely stay here and Marcus was most helpful with details and advice for the area. The cottage is good for a small family or a few friends. We loved the flow and quality of the decor and the kitchen has every kitchen gadget needed. We did not spend a lot of time in the back yard but it did have a table and grill. Well located for moving around the North Fork.

Beautiful home in perfect location

My family and I stayed at this wonderful house and absolutely loved it! Not only is the decor is superb, but the house is also outfitted with everything one could need and more. Great location, close to Southold and Greenport but in more low key, charming town of Mattituck. I absolutely recommend this place for families and couples looking for a wonderful, relaxed getaway!

Fantastic weekend retreat

Bright, clean and fresh, in and out. Very comfortable for a family of 4. We especially enjoyed grilling and eating on the patio, followed by a fire under the stars in the fire pit. We will return! Thank you Gustavo and Lydia for sharing your special retreat.

The best place to stay in Mattituck!

Several friends and I were looking to rent a house for our old college roommate's wedding when we came across this farmhouse. The pictures alone made us want to visit this place. But when you actually walk through those front doors its even more than you can imagined. Its a perfectly quaint, yet somehow modern version of a beautiful farmhouse. Even though surrounding outside property is beautiful with a great outdoor sitting area for those warmer nights. It's in the best location too! When I showed several houses to my friend who is a local in Mattituck, she instantly pointed out this house and said "this is the house it's a great location!" It's walking distance to Love Lane which is a beautiful tiny center of town with cute shops and restaurants. Thank you Gustavo for the great stay and hospitality! My friends and I discussed if we ever decide to come back again to Mattituck we will be staying here!

Fantastic location, charming home and great value

We knew this would be a great vacation the minute we entered the house. As nice as the photos are they still don't do it justice. It's a totally fresh, updated cottage...think urban modern meets country, with great flow and impeccably clean. Unlike many rentals everything was quality from the cookware to the towels. There was even a bottle of wine with a nice note to greet us. The outdoor living area is very private with a fence and hedges and is so inviting. What a spot to enjoy a dinner on a summer evening. And what a perfect location, in the heart of some of the best wineries on the North Fork, close to beaches and Love Lane the charming Mattituck village center. Plus we were close to the Oregon Rd. a great bike route and one of the most scenic country roads in Long Island. It's also the location of Shinn Estate Vineyards and Lieb Cellars both highly recommended. We have rented many vacation properties over the years and would rank this place at the top of the list in terms of aesthetics, quality, location, and value. An added bonus is the wealth of information provided by the owners who by the way are delightful to deal with. We highly recommend this vacation home for anyone who wants a great vacation on the North Fork. Thank you Lydia and Gustavo for sharing your wonderful home.

Comfortable, clean house, great location

We had a completely relaxing and low key weekend away at this home -- exactly what we were looking for! The house was impeccably clean, which is my first criteria for a rental. The kitchen was very easy to cook in and well stocked. The bathroom was luxuriously sized, the living room perfect for curling up, and the bed comfortable. The house is ideally located as a jumping-off point for winery tours or nipping out to explore the area. We also got some great local runs in, and had some *fantastic* food at nearby recommended places. It's worth mentioning that the owners were super responsive, helpful, and a breeze to deal with. They checked in on us throughout, and even thoughtfully left us a bottle of wine and some recommendations for our stay. This was a perfect find for the 2 of us. Thank you!

Excellent hosts, beautiful house, and great location

My family - 2 young boys, husband and myself - were so lucky to have spent an incredible long weekend at Gustavo and Lydia's beautiful house in Mattituck. First and foremost, they were the most gracious, helpful, and responsive hosts - they gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do with young boys in the area, restaurant and winery recommendations, and easy to understand and explicit house rules. The house is so tastefully decorated with minimal personal belongings, so it really felt like we were staying in a hotel. The house is equipped with everything you need - kitchen stuff, towels, wifi, Netflix, etc. They even left us a little shampoo and body soap set! The description on their posting is very true to what you get. The house is not large but it was perfect for the four of us. Finally, the location is excellent - walking distance to Love Lane (town of Mattituck), but also close to the beach, playground, major supermarkets, and a great ice cream shop (Magic Fountain)!! We hope to come back again soon!!!

We rented Gustavo's home for a nice ladies weekend on the North Fork. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay. First, the location was wonderful. Walking distance to town, a short drive to all the vineyards, farmers stands and beaches. Gustavo was extremely communicative during the process and made himself available to answer all our questions. The home was quiet, peaceful, clean. Everything we needed was supplied. The decor was beautiful, simple and purposeful. We loved how everything had its place, the home was very easy to navigate and very simple. We couldn't have asked for a better set up for a relaxing weekend away from home. We would 100% rent again. Thank you Gustavo!

Wonderful Mattituck Getaway!

We had a wonderful week in Mattituck. The house was even nicer than we expected! Gustavo and Lydia left us a delicious bottle of wine and went out of their way to accommodate our small children as well. The house and property are both very clean and organized. The kitchen is bright and roomy. We enjoyed breakfasts, dinners and great local wines huddled around the kitchen island. The location of the house is perfect. Love Lane is such a quick walk away and we picked up dinner frequently from Lombardi's Market. Veteran's Beach was close, quiet, clean and very nice. We were sad to leave at the end of the week but we are eager to return! Thank you Gustavo and Lydia for a very memorable summer getaway!

Perfect NYC Getaway

A few girlfriends and I stayed at this home for a long weekend in late August - and we absolutely LOVED our stay here. The home itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We made a meal at home one night and was able to utilize the beautiful outdoor area and seating space. The house location was perfect - it was a short walk from the Mattituck train station as a few of us were coming from NYC, Love Lane & a few other stores for us to run errands. Also, very close to many of the wineries! Overall, what a lovely weekend away and could have not stayed at a better place. Working with Gustavo was wonderful as well, very quick at responding and extremely accommodating. We will definitely be returning! Thank you again.

Perfect getaway

My mom, sister, and I loved our mini vacation on the North Fork - and Gustavo and Lydia's beautiful home was the perfect place to start and end each day. It was a quick walk to Love Lane and just a short drive to quiet beaches, farm stands, and all the North Fork vineyards. The house itself is very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated (sleeker than many hotels!). We made several meals in the gorgeous kitchen, and while we didn't make use of the grill, we did enjoy s'mores over the fire pit. We also took advantage of the cozy living room and Netflix in the evenings! The booking process couldn't have been easier. Gustavo was responsive, kind, and accommodating throughout. Overall, it was a great experience!

Highly recommend

Highly recommend. This gorgeous house in Mattituck was the perfect way to spend an extended weekend. The property was nicely furnished, well fitted out and was very well maintained. A few minutes walk to Love Lane, which had two great places we visited - Lombardi's Gourmet Market and Love Lane Kitchen. It's in a great location on the North Fork, with lots of wineries nearby.

Great experience!

Great experience! The house was impeccably clean, homey and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen, which was well stocked with everything that we needed. The backyard was lovely too - perfect for our three year old son to play in, and for outdoor dinners. And the location in Mattituck is ideal. The hosts were incredibly accommodating. They left a bottle of wine upon arrival and sent a message to make sure everything was ok. Without hesitation we would stay here again. We have been coming to the North Fork for over a decade and have enjoyed countless nights under the stars savoring lobster bakes, grilling the backyard, making s'mores over the firepit, memorable tours of the local vineyards and lazy afternoon naps on the beach. As Brooklynites, this was our favorite local getaway with good friends in an amazing setting.
