Hacienda de Mita

We love Punta Mita, and find the Hacienda de Mita location perfect for us. Most of our dinners are a close walk in town. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The beach club service is great and we enjoy being able to go to different areas of Punta Mita.

Amazing!

This is such a great place to stay. Highlights: Right on the beach, often a surf break right out front, 5 min walk to town/market/shops/restaurants, access to awesome beach clubs and resort restaurants via golf cart which is super fun! We've stayed at HDM twice and will be back again. Beautiful, safe, warm, amazing! Book it!

Great place

The unit is very clean and nice inside. Lots of places to hang out. Patio has great views especially during whale season. It had 2 golf carts which was great for the kids. The beach clubs are far away and it allows you to do things separately. The location is a quick 5 minute walk to town for drinks and food. no golf cart needed. Breakfast and lunch were prepared each day and was great. Only complaint was my wife had shoulder surgrey a few months ago and the beds are pretty firm.

Absolutely beautiful

Wow. Place is beautiful. Rocio made delicious food and kept the place immaculate. We only had her make breakfast and snacks. Don't choose pancakes and french toast. She makes great chilequiles, burritos, etc. Leave it to her for suggestions! We requested no spice and accommodated all our needs. I read a lot about mean security guards, but never experienced it. Just be respectful and they'll respect you. The beach is great since I don't like big waves. Great for beginner surfers or boogy boarders. It's a bit rocky so bring your water shoes...it's not unbearable. Town is just next door to the condo. All beaches are around 10 minute golf cart rides. The second cart is good for only 2 people. We learned that when it slowed down, let up on the gas pedal and press down again and it's roaring to go again. Concierge is also great. I texted Rosina and she always responded in a timely matter. I know I asked stupid questions, or the same question multiple times, but she was always patient. Absolutely first class in all aspects.

Graduation celebration trip with our kids and families

Beautiful condo, with amazing views, and 2 very spacious and comfortable master bedrooms, but the 3rd bedroom was advertized as 2 queen beds, but they were actually full-sized. Thankfully we were only 7 people, because I am not sure where the 8th person would have slept. We intended the boys would share the 3rd bedroom, but one of them had to sleep in the laundry room on the twin bed. He is over 6 feet tall, so he definitely got the short end of the deal compared to his brother and friend. The chef was amazing, she was so good and super sweet with our family and took very good care of us. Our main complaint was the security on the grounds, it felt like constant harassment. Every day we got some kind of written warning or fine for very minor infractions such as coming off the beach onto the property from the wrong set of stairs. We got a noise warning in the middle of the afternoon and our music was not loud. It was excessive and felt very unwelcoming. It's nice to have the security, but think they could focus on protecting us from outside intruders, not following us around writing infractions.

Beautiful Views & Beach Access

We loved our stay. It was on the 3rd floor with gorgeous views and beach access right out front. We were with a group and our condo was closest to the waves. The beach has a rocky bottom, so not great for swimming but a great waves for surfing. We went to a few of the other Clubs for ocean swimming etc… Rocio was amazing. We loved her! I would get this particular condo again because she is the amazing! She gets a lot done very quietly. I am not used to having someone cook for me but I got used to it real quick 😀The only negative was, we were there with a group of people and the security guard was “Not Nice” in telling me the rules. He never addressed my husband, just my son & I. I found that a little off putting and I told the Concierge. They also need to address the elevator button was broken on the first floor. Other than that, It was lovely. My husband and son could live there, my daughter & I had a great time too. We have an 18 yr old daughter & 15 year old son :)

Amazing stay

This condo is amazing and a perfect place to stay. Rosio the chef was AMAZING and Jesus our concierge was very helpful, quick, kind and responsive. The service everywhere was excellent! The amenities were stellar. One thing people should note when renting is that there really is 3 true bedrooms not 4. The 4th bedroom is a tiny mixed use room that includes the laundry room and linen/cleaning closets. Also to note Four Seasons and it’s amenities were closed to us due to Covid and being short staffed.

A very nice place with a wonderful support staff.

The property is clean and spacious, with a beautiful patio that looks over the swimming pools, beach, and bay. It was a great place to call our 'home base' during our vacation to Punta Mita. The concierge staff were very helpful, and Rocio was an amazing cook and kept things clean from day to day. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Complete Disappointment

My family (3 adults and 4 young kids) stayed in HDM 405 on March 2nd-5th. I would not recommend anyone with small children stay here. It is one of the least welcoming places I have been in my life. Upon arrival you are handed a list of all the rules that need to be strictly adhered to and if not you will be given a warning and then a $200 fine. Unfortunately, our 2 year old daughter dropped rocks off our balcony when we were unpacking (first 15 minutes of the trip). When we recognized what she was doing we stopped her immediately. Before we could even finish talking with her about it, security was at our room with our first warning. Completely acceptable in our eyes, albeit a little frustrating to get reprimanded so early in your trip. What happened next was completely unacceptable. We got all the kids in their swimsuits and went down to the pool. When my wife saw the rocks she began to pick them up and as she was doing that, an elderly man from 404 began berating us for our parenting. He called us "Renters" and "as Renters we should keep a better eye on our children." We tried to apologize and he yelled that we are the parents and need to take better responsibility of our kids. I kindly asked him to not take such an aggressive tone in front of our kids and that if he would like to talk away from them, I would be happy to do so. He made another comment about our parenting and my wife said that our daughter was only 2 years old - at that point he told my wife that she should be "a good wife and stay silent." I had enough at that point and told him I was going to security. He then proceeded to chase me to security and tell security that I raised my fist at him and challenged him to come settle this like a man. None of this is obviously true, especially since I was traveling with my KIDS! I encouraged security to go interview the other adults at the pool and they verified my account. It was a disgusting episode that scared my 5 and 7 yr old for the remainder of the trip and made the adults in our party incredibly uneasy. The man from 404 continued to make sure to make his presence known throughout the week and make our vacation as uncomfortable as possible. I would encourage other owners of Hacienda De Mita property to go to the board about the owner of 404. I would not recommend anyone be in the position of being attacked by this person. It was truly a disgusting experience.

This property is everything that is advertised and more. Rocio's was fantastic, cooking and caring for us and the condo, she truly felt so much like a member of our family that by the time we left after 4 nights our 5 year old cried. Majo and the concierge team were great and overall the property is just superb. This is the second time we have rented a property at Hacienda de Mita and we will be coming back in the future.

Beautiful Condo. Amazing Ocean views.

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at Hacienda de Mita 405. Our breakfasts were incredible and Rocio readily accommodated our specific dietary needs into the menu. The rooms are well-appointed, the beds are comfortable, and the entire villa is as described and pictured. The view from the living area, master bedroom, and terrace make this property an absolute standout. You can't go wrong with this unit and the level of service that is provided.

Excellent in every way!

We loved our stay at HDM 405. Shirley was very repsonsive to our every request and Rocio cooked delicious food for us everyday. The beds were comfortable and the decor lovely. We will be back!

Best Location in Punta Mita

Beautiful condo with a perfect location next to the gate leading into the town, where there are terrific restaurants. Having the golf cart was essential, since the resort is so spread out. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Perhaps the best feature was Rosia who came every day and worked non-stop cooking and cleaning for us. What a delightful person! Shirley and her staff were also very very helpful. We loved the condo and will be back.- Mr. C., Maryland, USA.

Perfect in every way

We have been going to Punta Mita for 12 years and Hacienda De Mita is the ideal location. We were on a surf trip his time but we take the kids every year as well. The access to El Enclote and El Faro is excellent for surfing is amazing. The property has phenominal views and is spacious and luxurious. The shared pool is right on the beach and it is one of the few locations that offers a large sandy beach prefect for the kids. Located inside the gates you have access to the beach club but are close enough to walk to town for lunch or dinner. The town is safe and quaint and we spent a lot of time there. You really get the best of both world at Hacienda De Mita and 405 takes it over the top with views and amenities. We will be back for years to come.
