Lassen Sie dieses neu renovierte See-Haus "Lager" der Anfang des Maine-Urlaubs Ihrer Familie sein. Entspannen Sie sich am Ufer des Branch Lake, wo Sie schwimmen, angeln, Loons lauschen, Adler beobachten und Felsen besteigen können. Erkunden Sie Acadia, Bar Harbor, Blue Hill und andere erstaunliche Orte, die weniger als 40 Minuten entfernt sind - Wandern, Radfahren, Walbeobachtung, Heidelbeer- / Erdbeersammeln, Musikfestivals und vieles mehr. Bleiben Sie in und genießen Sie den hellen / hellen, großen, offenen Grundriss, Sommerbrise, Charme des Seehauses mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten, während die Wellen um die Felsen nur 30 Gebühr entfernt liegen. Wir können Gruppen von 6-7 Gästen bequem unterbringen (Hauptschlafzimmer hat einen König, zweites Schlafzimmer hat eine volle Matratze mit zwei Einzelbetten, der Dachboden hat zwei Einzelbetten und das Wohnzimmer hat einen Queen-Sleeper). Für den Sommer 2019 werden wir 2 Einzelkajaks und 1 Tandemkajak hinzufügen. Rettungswesten für 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (50-90lbs) werden mitgeliefert.

What an iconic Maine lakehouse vacation! The house has plenty of space, and did I mention seemingly never-ending views of the water?! Not only was it beautiful, it had amenities galore, to include kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles and gear, board games, puzzles and lots of Maine guidebooks! We would definitely do this again!

Girls getaway long weekend

Beautiful area, lakeside. Had a very relaxing comfortable stay at this lovely cozy home. The weather wasn’t exactly on our side but we enjoyed staying in and relaxing and making puzzles and memories. Close to Bar Harbor and Bangor. Great view from Flat Rock. Wish there were a few less trees so you could have a better view of the lake from inside but that’s minor. Had a great time!!

The house at Flat Rock was great. It was beautiful inside, spacious, comfortable, very well stocked, great view, lots of things to do that were supplied for us. We didn't get to enjoy the outside much because of the weather, but it would be a great spot in the warmer months. It is about 45 minutes to Acadia and about 35 minutes to Bangor. The house was easy to find, with directions supplied by the owners. All information needed was in a binder in the house, which helped a lot too. Internet went out a few times, probably because it's a remote area. Plenty of room for sleeping for a larger party than we had. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Amazing Lakeside Getaway

This place definitely surpassed expectations. The home is comfortable and easy to find. Nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and Acadia itself but still an easy drive. The flat rock area (a slab of rock which extends into the lake itself) was incredible for watching the sunset. Nothing like waking up lakeside with the water just outside the window. The host was gracious and quick to respond. We had an excellent time. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would stay there again ourselves in a heartbeat.

Quiet and serene get away

We loved everything about the cabin! The owner is very responsive and made the experience simple and seemless. The location is perfect and the house has everything you could possibly need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. It is centralized and convenient to so many great places to visit. The cabin is very cozy and felt like home. We had a wonderful time star gazing and photographing the milky way from Flat Rock. We even captured a bit of the aurora borealis, which we have never seen before! It was amazing to see so many stars in the night sky. We even heard an owl while stargazing. The fall colors were beautiful. Our entire family had a wonderful time and we miss it already! We can't wait to go back.

The Best Part of Our Vacation!

Our family will be talking about Flat Rock for years to come. This charming property is fully appointed so we could enjoy everything we wanted to. The kayaks and fishing were a hit, and the views of the lake were picture perfect. Communication with the host was seamless. We were close enough to town to grab what we needed, but far enough away to feel like we had our own little spot of paradise. Anyone considering this listing to take in Bar Harbor and Acadia should book now!

Fantastic Stay at Flat Rock

My family and I stayed at Flat Rock for a long weekend. Everything was great. Fantastic views of the lake every morning. Easy drive to Acadia National Park. The cabin has everything you need for a great stay in Maine!

Peaceful Oasis

If I were describe Sheree's beautiful cabin in two words it would be 'Dream Home'. This stunning property is located next to Branch Lake; from the charming details to the large windows with scenic views it was nothing short of amazing! Our stay was absolutely wonderful, I hope to return sometime soon!

My husband's grandfather built this camp in 1940. We recently purchased the cabin and have spent many months renovating it. We added AC/ heating, an extra bathroom, new electrical and plumbing, washer and dryer, many new windows and flooring. We love Flat Rock (which is an actually place on the backside of the cabin, for which is got it's name!). And we can't wait to share it with you....
