Gönnen Sie sich das Gefühl der Abgeschiedenheit von einem weitläufigen Deck mit Blick auf einen ruhigen See, fernab vom Alltagsstress. Genießen Sie das tägliche Schwimmen im schönen Kiesbad am Fuße des Hügels. Genießen Sie nach dem Abendessen spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge auf dem Deck. Cottage verfügt über 1 große Küche / Ess- / Wohnzimmer mit 2 separaten Schlafzimmern und einem Vollbad. Das vordere Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett und Blick auf den See, während das hintere Schlafzimmer einen Blick auf den Wald mit einem Doppelbett hat. Es gibt ein großes Vorderdeck und 1 kleines abgeschirmtes Seitendeck.

Ich benutze das Cottage selbst, wenn es nicht vermietet ist und ich habe 3 siamesische Katzen, die ich mitbringe. Bitte beachten Sie dies, wenn Sie Allergien haben. :)

Perfect romantic getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! This was our first trip to Maine and Cindy’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It was cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the nearby activities in Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, and Acadia NP as well as relaxing at the cottage and sitting on the screened in porch. Hearing the loons on the lake in the mornings and evenings was an added bonus! We would stay here again, highly recommend!

This was a cozy little cabin perfectly situated in the woods. Mornings were peaceful and evenings were tranquil. We slept with the windows open most nights and listened to the sounds of the forest around us, no white noise machine needed!The cabin itself is outfitted with everything you need for an extended stay, only personal toiletries needed. There's brochures for local things to do and places to each, which was a nice touch. We stayed with our two year old, bringing her pack and play, and had plenty of room. We used the cabin as a jumping off point to visit Acadia. It's a bit of a drive but there's plenty to see and coffee shops to try in Ellsworth that keep us busy and well fed during the week. Check in and out was seamless and we loved the ease of our stay. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an authentic camp stay on the lake. I'm hoping to return in the future and use the dock more!

Comfortable, cozy, lakeside home with killer views. It's quiet, well-stocked kitchen (equipment) and is great proximity for so many outings, whether to Acadia, Schoodic, Blue Hill, Deer Isle or . . . And loons.

Our stay at the cabin was very relaxing, and Cindy was always a call or message away. The cabin was well equipped , just needed our personal items. The scenery was breathtaking with the pond and forest. Acadia Park was amazingly beautiful and Bar Harbor was also a short drive away.

Secluded but never isolated

What a perfect rustic property. It felt like returning home though it was our first trip to Maine. Beautiful views from the deck, great kayaking from the dock, and close enough to Ellsworth and Acadia to really enjoy the region when we could tear ourselves away from the lake. We barely knew there were other houses around but we never felt isolated. Just the right balance.

Very basic cabin

The bathroom is outside on the porch and not inside the cabin. There is no main heat throughout the house and the gas wall heater goes out constantly and the floor was freezing from lack of insulation under it. The place was clean.

Peaceful Cabin With Great View Of Lake

We enjoyed our stay at this lakefront cabin. Although the location is isolated, we enjoyed the peaceful setting, especially the large porch that overlooks the lake. The cabin was comfortable and spacious. The only drawbacks were that we had to use bottled water for all drinking (as the well water had not passed inspection) and we were instructed to limit WiFi use due to data restrictions. Both of these limitations were not disclosed in the listing for this property, neither at the time we reserved it for our stay nor at the time of this review. We were only informed of these restrictions by direct e-mail shortly before our stay.

We stay at Cindy's place every year (for five years running now) and it is perfect for us. Cozy and perfect for our family of four with two growing teens/young adults two parents and dog but we love it! Highly recommend!

Patten's Pond Stay

The property is extremely well maintained and has all the necessities for an extended stay. The lake is beautiful and Cindy kept the lake water just warm enough for us to enjoy swimming. The property is conveniently close to a convenience store and two towns with bigger stores if anything more is needed. We recommend at least one visit to the Dairy Port ice cream store in Bucksport. Of course, we mean at least one visit per day. We had a great time and will try to stay again during our next Maine visit. The Taylors

Peaceful week on Patten Pond

The cottage is nicely located on a terrace above the pond. It has a beautiful deck partly shaded by tall white pines. There is a natural stone path down to the excellent dock on the pond. (The steps might be hard for seniors or small children). The kitchen is nicely equipped for cooking light meals. The bathroom has been recently updated and the washer and dryer are excellent. The bedrooms, like most cottages, small but both have closet space and drawers for clothes. Access was good and plenty of parking for up to three vehicles. We relied on our cellphones for internet access and reception is excellent, but the wifi limited to a hotspot is very sketchy. Cindy was very easy to communicate with and provides good instructions on most items. We had an excellent week touring local site and eateries and found the cottage met our needs. We would stay here again. Thanks Cindy.

I am a retired travel agent & have traveled the world. In spite of the many beautiful places I have seen, to me my cottage is equal to them all. I love Siamese cats, spinning wool, knitting & baking.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I inherited this cottage from my parents who built it themselves with help from neighbors & friends in the 1950's. I spent nearly every summer here as a girl, swimming & boating with my family & friends. It feels remote but is close to shopping & entertainment although I find that I hate to depart once I'm there & only leave for groceries.

The cottage is approx 25 miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, 20 miles to artsy Blue Hill, and within an hour of panoramic Deer Isle.

The cottage is on a hill overlooking the lake & is a small climb down to a gravel bottomed swimming area. There are few camps on this lake, so you will be unlikely to see very much of your neighbors. There is no public boat launch on the lake, so only bring canoes or kayaks that are light enough to carry down the hill yourself & back up again.
