We had some issues with the hot tub not heating which was a little disappointing, but the host was extremely responsive and got a technician to come look at it right away. The cabin in small but very cozy. Lovely location close to amenities but totally private and on a beautiful hillside. We had a great stay.

The cabin was adorable, warm and comfortable. Very clean with amenities. When we needed anything or had questions, the company had quick and helpful communication. Only drawback….the bed mattress was too soft and hurt out backs. Thank goodness for the hot tub.

we absolutely adored the cabin and would love to go back in the future! The sound of nature and the birds chirping all around was the most peaceful part of it all! The hot tub was an added bonus. A nice secluded getaway for couples or even by yourself! Absolutely rate it 10 out of 10!

Great weekend trip

My boyfriend (now fiancé) had a great time on this fun weekend trip! The dogs loved the open yard to run in and we enjoyed playing pool and grilling. We also got engaged by the fire pit! We loved staying here and will definitely be back.

Relaxing and comfortable

This was our 2nd time at Whispering Hills and we loved it as much as the first time. We have plans to go back multiple times a year. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, fire pit and hiking. The place was very clean and comfortable.

Great secluded cabin for a quick weekend getaway! The feel of the cabin is more than enough to relax you. The hot tub is screened in to save you from any bugs, the view is incredible, and it’s a short trip to downtown!

Very quiet and removed from the hustle of everyday stuff. It was nice to unplug and relax in the countryside. Very private location, everything was great! Will book again definitely!

Cabin as advertised. Had minor problems that were beyond the control of the management team but they were responsive and accommodating. Will be staying here again.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

Exactly as described. Perfect central location especially if you want to hike or bike on rails to trails. Minutes from Downtown Berkely Springs. Clean modernized and has all the amenities at home but the peace and private.

Weekend away

The place was clean, cozy, had a minor issue to which the property manger handled with care. If your looking for some peace and quiet this is the place for you! Beautiful view, got to see some wildlife in the front yard, and enjoyed the hot tub and playing a few games of pool. Kitchen was Decently stocked with pots/pans, utensils,etc.

Great fall getaway

This is just what my partner and I wanted. The cabin is cozy, clean and comfortable on a peaceful, well-maintained property, surrounded by nature. The fireplace operates on gas, so you won’t need firewood. If you plan on doing some cooking, you might want to bring a good chef’s knife, but the kitchen is pretty well equipped. No complaints! Perhaps we’ll return

Winter Getaway

This was a cozy cabin far away from the hustle and bustle. It was simple and amenities were as stated. It had plenty of kitchenware that made bringing groceries ideal. The roads were paved and right after the snow storm they came to plow as well. The hot tub was clean and very hot as we requested. I like to photograph and even spotted a deer after the snow outside in the field. Thank you for your hospitality.

Nice getaway

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin -- made dinner on the charcoal grill and soaked in the hot tub. Too cold for the campfire, but would have loved to do that, too. The space seemed quite clean. The kitchen wasn't super well-stocked, but that's not why we go to cabins :) The location is nicely secluded. Not much walking around in the immediate area, but some great hikes within driving distance. The place is nice for two -- seems like would be a little cozy for more.

Quiet, secluded and cozy!

Husband and I and our 2 dogs stayed here over Thanksgiving and we absolutely loved it. The dogs enjoyed running around the 5 acres and we loved the seclusion. Enjoyed a soak in the hot tub and played pool in the game room. This cabin has everything you need and more. Fully stocked kitchen, bath towels and bed linens. Cabin was extremely clean and warm when we arrived. Notes for future guests: bring paper products (paper towels & toilet paper & paper plates). Bring beach towels for the hot tub and I would even suggest bath robes for winter months. It is a few short steps back to the cabin, but very cold when you are wet from the tub. Cannot say enough good things about this cabin/location. We absolutely loved it and would stay here again!

A Little Deceiving

We had a great time at our stay! Check in was easy and the managers were very responsive. We were a surprised to see that the hot tub was in a completely different building from the rest of the cabin. It was very windy and cold so while the tub was relaxing, the run to and from the cabin in the dark of night wasn't! The pots and pans were very scraped up and used as well, we didn't feel safe cooking on them so went to the Dollar General and bought our own (and left them there for future renters). My last gripe was that the bed was very uncomfortable and you could hear the springs each time you moved. But beyond that, it was a quaint place with an amazing piece of property and served its purpose as a relaxing getaway. Bonus points for being dog friendly!

Lowkey vacation

Secluded enough to be able to relax, let the hair down. There are plenty of things to do in the area, but I needed some space and this was the perfect place for that. Took my dog along. First time he has gone anywhere besides the vet. If your dog is a couch potato/ climbs on furniture I recommend bringing some sheet bedding to throw over the furniture. Also if your dog is small enough you can use baby gates to keep them on the porch area. My dog runs after anything that moves so he was tethered or on the leash. Also a small 6 foot extension cord and a power strip would be useful in the hot tub area. No outlets there, so if you wanted a bit of music/radio, you could set it on the picnic table right outside the hot tub enclosure. There is an outside outlet near the pool table/ laundry room. Very responsive to requests.
