Diese 3-Zimmer-Wohnung (dritte Etage) ist komplett neu gestrichen und mit europäischen Möbeln eingerichtet (innen und außen).

Das Apartment verfügt über eine große Terrasse mit herrlichem Meerblick und Blick auf den Privatstrand und den Pool.

Auf der Terrasse befindet sich ein moderner Esstisch für 6 Personen mit 6 Stühlen sowie ein Loungesessel, der sich perfekt für Ihren Morgenkaffee (oder einen Wein bis spät in die Nacht) eignet.

Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein Sofa, Kaffeetische und ein Bücherregal mit Büchern über die Insel. Es gibt einen Fernseher und WLAN-Zugang in der gesamten Wohnung sowie am Strand und am Poolbereich.

Die moderne Küche ist komplett ausgestattet für 6 Personen (maximal 2 Erwachsene bei Buchung für 6 Personen) und verfügt über einen Backofen, eine Mikrowelle, einen Herd, eine Kühl- / Gefrierkombination, eine Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine, einen Mixer und einen Toaster.

Auf dem Flur gibt es ein Gäste-WC und einen Waschraum mit Waschmaschine, Trockner und Bügelbrett.

Das große Hauptschlafzimmer mit Meerblick verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen Fernseher, einen Schreibbereich und einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank. Es verfügt über ein angrenzendes Badezimmer mit Doppelwaschtisch, WC und großer ebenerdiger Dusche. Selbstverständlich werden auch viele Bade- und Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt.

Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten, die sich leicht in ein Kingsize-Doppelbett verwandeln lassen. Vervollkommnen Sie für zwei Kinder / Jugendliche oder ein zusätzliches erwachsenes Paar, das Sie verbindet. Dieses Zimmer verfügt auch über ein eigenes Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche.

Das dritte Schlafzimmer ist kleiner, aber perfekt für einen Teenager oder zwei kleinere Kinder. Es bietet Platz für ein Einzelbett mit einer zusätzlichen Matratze, die herausgezogen und zu einem Zustellbett umfunktioniert werden kann. Es gibt auch einen kleineren Duschbereich und eine Toilette.

Jedes Zimmer hat große Kleiderschränke.

Vor dem Gebäude gibt es einen privaten Parkplatz (ein Auto für jede Wohnung) und der gesamte Bereich ist eingezäunt und gesichert. Während der Nacht ist ein Wachmann vor Ort.

Karin was GREAT with check-in and check-out. Property was beautiful! Very spacious, very clean. Great location for walking into Willemsted with tons of restaurants along the way. Small suggestion—put a loose sheet on the bed as another option to just the comforter. That way guests can keep the AC temp higher at night and still be cool enough to sleep.

The Strand is really nice - it has a great location where you are close enough to walk into town, but still not in the business of actually staying downtown. The apartment was immaculate and is set up really nice. Very modern decor and pretty much all the amenities that you could ask for. It's a 2.5 bedroom and is best suited for a family with kids in our opinion. The second bedroom is very nice, but when you stay with two couples, one of you is definitely getting the short straw when you compare it to the master. Super clean, super beach area, secure parking, great place to stay. Host is excellent and very responsive.

Great Stay

Luckily this year spring breaks aligned letting us get away as a family and this was a great place to do it. Clean, bright, easy access to diving, dinning, shopping, and a private lagoon. Daytime highs in the mid eighties would have us running the AC at home, here, open the doors/windows and the steady breeze off the ocean kept us comfortable. Great place to stay, friendly staff and plenty of room. We plan to return.

Wonderful stay, listing was accurate and the view was even better in person. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home provided all the amenities that we needed plus more. we love curacao

We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We really enjoyed the beach area and the closeness to town. The listing has a few inconsistencies. you are responsible for paper towels and toilet paper after the initial is gone and the wifi has changed than the one stated in the binder but these are little things that did not detract from our stay. This condo was perfect for our family.

Beautiful View - Clean Uncluttered Property

We think this condo is in a great location, and this particular unit has a great view. The unit was clean, ready for our arrival, and boast an admirable view from it's 3rd story location. Four adults stayed here comfortably, the kitchen had everything we needed for any meals we made in the unit. The master and 2nd bedroom are amply sized, the third bedroom is very small, appropriate for a young child, but not an adult. The beautiful balcony has a table and six chairs, a lovely spot for any meal. But there is only one comfortable lounge chair, there really should be two. Overall, we'd be happy to stay hear again.

Time to recharge

Wonderfully relaxing space with that million dollar view. The condo had all we needed for a great stay and is as described. Plenty of towels - beach ones as well. Very clean with a fun selection of books, but mostly in Dutch and we don’t speak the language, but fun to flip through in any case. Kitchen was stocked with all needed to prepare your own meals. Appliances worked perfectly. The bedding seemed to lack a flat sheet on beds, but that is a matter of taste and just what we are used to in the states. There was, however, a lack of bed pillows and when we asked for a few more, none arrived. We enjoyed our stay very much and would return to the same spot upon a return trip to Curaçao!

Great Location, Hidden Fees

The location is great with a swimming, pool, beach, and snorkeling, right out your door. The condo is spacious and can house 2 to 3 families easily. It is close to shops and restaurants. We would recommend the Wine Cellar. There were, however, hidden charges that we did not expect. We were asked to pay for the electric bill beyond a certain amount per day, which was not in the contract. It’s been three weeks since we rented and we have not received our deposit back nor did we receive any communication as to why. For these reasons, we are giving this condo a low rating and renters should be aware of hidden charges.

Hi Candace, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to read you felt our costs were hidden. We are open about the electricity fee in the rental agreement sent out after booking and during check-in. We indeed charge an extra fee if the electricity use is above a certain limit. As electricity is a scarce and expensive commodity on the island we want to encourage our guests to use it wisely. However I think our maximum use rate is very reasonable as in all the years that we are renting out we have never had to charge extra and you were also not charged because you stayed within the allowed limit. As for the damage deposit, this deposit is refunded automatically by VRBO after 1 week and as is clearly stated on the website of VRBO it can take up to 2 weeks before the amount is deposited back to you depending on your payment method. This is outside of our control. As far as I can see the deposit was refunded back to you within the stated time frame.

Fantastic View - Great Location!

The Strand was perfect for us! We are a family of four and to have a bathroom attached to each bedroom was very nice. And, the extra 1/2 bathroom off the kitchen was a bonus! The oversized chair out on the balcony was a family favorite! The building and unit were very clean and quiet. The view is incredible! When we initially booked the unit we were thrilled that there was also a pool but honestly, we spent all our time down on the water or exploring other beaches and the island. We loved that The Strand is within walking distance of Willemstad as well. It was the perfect place for us to unwind!! The check-in and check-out process was easy and Saskia was ready to help with whatever we needed. Tanne was very responsive with her all communication (I had many questions for her prior to our renting the unit). We had no issues whatsoever. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend 3C at The Strand!

Curacao condo

This beautiful condo is about a 7 minute drive from downtown Willemstad where all the action is. You can also walk there in under 30 minutes – we did, almost every day. Gorgeous view from the porch, living room and master bedroom. Very quiet and private. Very clean. Nice quality linens and towels and comfortable beds. The central air works great. Nice pool and private beach with lounge chairs. Fast Internet in the condo and at the beach. Generous supply of toilet paper and paper towels. Very responsive when you have a question or an issue. The only reason we did not rate this property with five stars is that the hot water did not work in either the master bathroom shower or in the second bedroom shower. So we had to shower in the third small bathroom off of the small third single bedroom (think cruise ship sized shower).

This property is very well positioned. Not only do you have the benefits of a private beach and pool for the limited number of units in the building, but you are within walking distance of downtown Willemstad and many great restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the property. Security is also very good.

Wonderful condo!!

First time to Curacao and I would recommend staying here for so many reason; the location is excellent...close to town, restaurants, a major hotel is a few buildings down and its near other major beach centers; having your own beach on the property was a huge advantage as it can get very busy at other beaches, and this beach was beautiful, beautiful sand, water and your own gorgeous sunsets. The view is outstanding...one of the prettiest Vrbo views I have had. Very quiet building and very clean. The owners are wonderful, they respond so quickly to all of your questions and are very helpful. We would highly recommend this condo!!

Awesome view and location

The view from the balcony was spectacular. Unit was fine for two couples. While the second bedroom is smaller, we had the two twin beds made into a king and had no issues. Loved the onsite beach. The lagoon made it great for swimming. Spoiled by the central AC but turn it off during the day to stay within the daily limit. The kitchen is well stocked - two minor issues (large fry pan non-stick coating is coming off and sometimes the freezer didn't make a lot of ice). We rented a car and easily traveled downtown to restaurants and further up island for snorkeling. Our favorite was playa porto mari (wonderful snorkeling and easy access from the beach - not too rocky). Easy walk to Cana restaurant (one of our favorites). Also loved Kome.

Great place for a holiday

We just spent a week at Tanne’s apartment at the Strand and it was amazing. The third floor unit has a huge balcony looking directly out into the water, and the property is very quiet and peaceful. The unit is nicely appointed with tasteful, simple, modern furnishings. And the location is great: close enough to walk to numerous restaurants and the old Willemstad area, but remote enough to be quiet and feel like you’re really getting away. I’d highly recommend staying here!

A nice family spot

This location is located about a mile from some great dining. The beaches in Curacao are a little rough, so the private beach/lagoon is very nice and calm at all times during the day. A vehicle is a must at this location if you want to see the island. Very safe and well guarded. If you are buying groceries however make sure to go into town and stay away from the local Chinese store down the road.

Hi, we are Dimitry and Tanne and together with our 2 teenage sons we welcome you to our perfect home away from home. As a hard working lawyer (Dimitry) and a lawyer-turned- health coach (Tanne) we first visited Curaçao in the beginning of our relationship and fell in love with the island and its surroundings. After having visited many other islands in the Caribbean we choose Curaçao to be the island we wanted to bring our children. Our first son Mathis came with us when he was only 18 months old and his little brother Nicolas followed shortly thereafter as a 5 month old baby. We are very grateful we could spend many summers and winters in Curaçao and we watched our boys grow up on its sandy beaches.
It’s easy access from our homecountry Belgium (with direct daily flights from Amsterdam), and its location outside the hurricane zone, make it the perfect getaway for year-round sunfilled days.
During the years we started dreaming about having our own “place under sun” and now that our boys are still as enthousiastic to joining us here as they were a young children, we finally decided now is the time to make our dream become reality.
After searching for three years to find the perfect spot.
It is our greatest wish that we can spend many more perfect holidays here as a family and we hope we can share this experience with you as we welcome you as our guests!

What we love about our property is its central location on the island. Within walking distance off plenty good restaurants and bars in the beautifull historic Pietermaai District. The town centre off the capital Willemstad can also be accessed by foot.
