Das Sand Angel befindet sich in einem der neuesten Resorts von North Padre Island, Padre Beach View. Das Resort befindet sich gegenüber dem Whitecap Beach. Sand Angel ist eine von nur 5 Einheiten am Pool. Erster Stock ist ein offenes Konzept Wohnzimmer, Essbereich und Küche mit übergroßen Granitinsel. WC im ersten Stock. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Obergeschoss zusammen mit einem Dachboden. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad und einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Pool und den Strand. Großer Salzwasserpool mit Sitzgelegenheiten auf einer Seite und Düsen zum Entspannen. Auf der anderen Seite befindet sich ein flaches Regal, in dem sich Kinder oder Erwachsene im Wasser aufhalten können. Sitzen Sie im Schatten an einem der Picknicktische oder auf einem Stuhl auf dem gesamten Pooldeck. Gruben rund um den Poolbereich. Der Strand ist direkt gegenüber. 2 reservierte Parkplätze direkt vor der Hintertür zum bequemen Be- und Entladen.

This is a great location-and a lovely condo. Great access to the pool-and to the beach. We would stay here again. Parking was perfect also. There was some issue with cleanliness in the upstairs hall bathroom. Long dark Hair in the drain in the tub. The pool area had an issue with the chain for the shower-it was too short to use. Also-no TP in the pool bathroom. One night people were in the pool til 11:00 pm and had to be asked to be quiet. We were happy that check out was at 11:00 and not 10 am!

perfect place for all things beachy

Property was clean and roomy. View was fantastic. Pool was great. Short walk to beach. Lots of things to do and see. Everything was perfect and Randy was always available if we needed anything.

Long weekend

Good space and amenities. Pool just outside door. Long walk to beach if you have older people or very young kids. Place would be nice but needs deep cleaning. Dust everywhere, sandy floors, sheets not clean on beds. Towels need replacing.

Perfect setup for family beach vacation

The condo is very spacious and with a perfect layout. 3 bedrooms upstairs and plenty room downstairs. Our family of seven was very comfortable. The kitchen is open and made cooking meals an easy task. The beach across the street is wide and well maintained. The kids lived in the pool when they weren't at the beach so this units location poolside was excellent. Definitely a 're-renter' when we return to N. Padre

Okay condo, not great

This condo is only okay for the following reasons (pros and cons).Kitchen: not many dishes or glasses, nonstick pans are so scraped up they can't be used, no spices or supplies other than salt/pepper, dishwasher is at end of useful lifeBedrooms: beds are NOT comfortable, sheets are old and don't fit well anymore, beds are squeaky and mattresses worn outBathrooms: decent, clean, no shampoo or conditioner, only hand soap availableLiving room: decent couches, plenty of sitting optionsPool: warm enough to swim but not comfortable on a day cooler than 75F, only being cleaned twice weekly so a lot of debris blows inBeach: close enough to walk to (there is a stretch of 50yards along a busy road, but not too bad), a few beach toys are available but no beach towelsManagement: communicates quickly during booking process but after that not much. I didn't have any huge issues to report but he didn't even respond to text on the day we left letting him know we checked outOverall: it was fine, we wouldn't stay here again unless basic upgrades are made

Disappointed

The location is great! The owner is very responsive to messages. I went with 5 other ladies, all in our 40’s. All of us frequent users of VRBO. This was the dirtiest unit we’ve ever stayed in. Especially surprising due to other clean reviews & lack of early check-in availability for a through cleaning. The stairs were filthy, clearly not vacuumed. Stickers in the kitchen rug. Watered down soap dispenser with no lather. Dust build up on top of shower ledges. Hair rubber bands left in the shower. Sheets in the closet tossed on the shelf, not folded, so unsure if dirty or clean to make the trundle bed. Dishes in the dishwasher still dirty. Some dishes in the cabinet also dirty. We used as much of our paper goods as possible. Really unfortunate, if it were clean & tidy, we would happily return. Simple fix with a better cleaning service & stop cutting corners by adding water to soft soap to make it last longer.

Hi Summer, I'm very sorry the cleanliness was not up to our usual standards during your recent stay. Due to COVID we have been short handed as some of our usual cleaners have chosen to cut their hours to risk exposure or have chosen not to work at all during these difficult times. We have had to hire new cleaners to keep up with demand and unfortunately there have been some bumps along the way while we try to get them fully trained. Also, this has been our busiest summer ever and we have been renting vacation homes for several years. I believe it is due to everyone feeling cooped up at home because of quarantine which has left everyone anxious to get out of the house and to get some sun. We appreciate that you chose Sand Angel as your home away from home during your trip and we deeply apologize that we did not make your stay as comfortable as we usually do for all our guests. Our new cleaners are now fully trained and we have been doing more thorough quality control inspections after their cleanings. I hope you will give us another chance to provide you with a great experience in the future. Please give us a call when booking your next trip with us as we would love to do something a little extra for you next time. In the meantime stay safe and healthy in these crazy times.

Fun trip

This was our first trip to Corpus Christi. The condo isn’t right on the beach (as in walkout on the sand), you do have to walk a little ways or drive a couple minutes to get to the drive-on portion. Otherwise the location on the island is great. I was a little disappointed that most of the tourist attractions are in the bay, which is a 30 minute drive, but that’s just how Corpus is. If you’re just wanting to be a beach bum this place is perfect. As far as the condo itself, the building as a whole is well maintained. The two reserved parking spots were nice to have with all our beach stuff and kids. We had someone parked in our spot one day but after a call to the owner, they left promptly. The layout is great with all the common area downstairs and beds upstairs. It fit four adults and two babies perfectly. I personally wouldn’t be comfortable with more people than that in one unit, but I suppose if you don’t mind people everywhere it could fit the “sleeps 12” description. We only stayed two nights, so we didn’t use the kitchen much, but I can see it being very useful for someone staying longer and wants to cook at the condo to save money on going out. The washer and dryer were also a great amenity to have in the unit. We were right next to the pool, even had access from our patio, and even though we didn’t use it, I will say we never once heard kids or noise. The condo is very sound proof when it comes to outside noise. My one and only complaint is that I think the condo could have been cleaned better. I get sand, that is to be expected. But in particular the upstairs guest bathroom (not master) definitely needed to have the bath rug replaced and there was someone else’s hair EVERYWHERE. In the tub, on the floor, in the sink. There was a pony tail left in the tub. Having a baby that crawls/walks low to the floor and having to bathe them while pulling hair off me was disgusting. I didn’t notice it anywhere else in the condo so maybe that bathroom was mistakenly skipped during the last cleaning. The sheets and dishes and everything else was clean so something tells me this was an anomaly. I do recommend this condo and hopefully the owner sees this review and just makes sure the cleaning is up to par.

Great spot close to Whitecap Beach!

We had a lovely time at this property. It is close to whitecap beach and the National seashore, so beach access is definitely a plus! I was quite disappointed in the quality of the bath towels and sheets on the beds, as they are very cheap and old. It was also clear that no one has done a deep clean in a while, as there were ants in the kitchen and living room, and children’s socks and toys beneath the living room table and under couches.

Nice stay

We enjoyed a comfortable vacay here with 3 adults and 4 children. We liked the unit’s location to the pool (steps away from back door). The beach is within walking distance, but if you have to haul stuff for children the drive on beach is very convenient. There is an outdoor shower by the pool and a hose at the back of the unit for rinsing off after beach. The unit was clean, comfortable and cute. We would return in future.
